Impact tremors is my best friend in a lot of my decks. When I heard goblins I knew it was gonna be in there somewhere. But as the golden pig, mwah! Beautiful

Built a Krenko EDH deck last year. One of my favorites. Went from 32 goblins to over 64,000 in a single turn. Noticed a glaring omission from the decklists and conversations: Kyren Negotiations. An absolute powerhouse in this deck. It is totally obvious, but no one seems to recognize what it will do until it is too late.

I have a...considerably more than $25 Krenko deck but that card that wins me the most games is the $1 Final Fortune. Getting to Krenko again before your opponent takes their next turn makes the difference in so many games.
In my Krenko deck, my favorite way to knock out a player is to have a decent number of goblins, play Goblin King, then play Harmless Offering and forcibly give your opponent a Mountain. So evil.

@@TheCommandersQuarters This is why even though my deck is not a budget deck I still watch your videos: I had no idea there were so many artifacts that would untap Krenko. I was only running Jandors Saddlebags but now that I see the others, TCG Player is getting more of my money.
@@howsjames1 Yeah I love that he and Jumbo Commander show off some really awesome budget options that I wouldn't have even heard of. Definitely one of the best EDH channels out there.

@@cobaltdeleon Fair enough, I built a Krenko commander deck a while back. I never even put anything too crazy in the deck, like things that go infinite or can untap krenko, but that deck is still undefeated. Mind you I've only played like 8-9 games with it as I don't get to play commander often, but I've played it against the infamous "Breed Lethality" deck and it had no issue wiping the floor with Atraxa. Krenko on his own is a beast, you need a lot of removal/board control if you want any chance against him.
@@cobaltdeleon recently built a Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain storm deck with twenty-seven 0-cmc artifacts. Wins with either Psychosis Crawler or Aetherflux Resevoir. Wins consistently (tested after playing around a dozen games) no later than turn 7 (with a turn 4 win mixed in the bunch). For a $40 deck, it's actually insane.

The new format for the reasonable upgrades is perfect!! Krenko was one of my first commander decks, and I love using the goblin recruiter/ goblin ringleader mix to fill my hand

Hey Mitch! I don't know if you read old comments. But I just wanted to let you know that I built my son this deck. We played at our local LGS last night, and he won three out of five pods! Usually on turn five! The two times he lost, were people that had seen his deck go off, and had the table hate him out. He was an eleven year old archenemy playing a 50 dollar deck, against some very expensive very tuned decks! Lol! Thanks for the blueprint!
One of my friends bought the merfolk vs. goblins duel deck, and started building Krenko from that. Long story short, I never want to see the name "Purphoros" mentioned ever again

Sorry mate, if your opponent has 100 goblin with this deck, they certainly have a way to kill you at instant speed (goblin bombardment, skirk prospector or any sac outlet + sharpshooter/Shaenaningans/Pashalik Mons)
What can really cripple this deck is removal after removal on Krenko or hardcore stax gameplans.

It's honestly kind of hard to really break the bank on Krenko because everything you need to make him go is so cheap. I have a fairly competitive Krenko deck and it isn't too far off from this. The 3 main differences are Sol Ring (it's lights out for everyone if you get this out turn 1), Into the Web Of War, and Purphoros God Of The Forge.

A great way to start is the Goblin v Merfolk deck. A ton of the pieces are in there that give you a solid base and then you just fill them in over time and cheaply

Love the deck.As someone who plays Krenko regularly I can definitely appreciate this list. If I may say I highly recommend the addition of "Coat of Arms" and "Voracious Dragon" as reasonable upgrades . they definitely make the deck a force to be recconned with lol

yay one of my favourite commanders! another one Id love to see a deck tech on is Grothama All Devouring. The sheer amount of chaos and weird stuff that this creature causes makes it worth building a deck around in my opinion!

I think the craziest card in my Krenko deck is Goblin Assassin. It's a little high mana cost, but it's an amazing effect that totally combos with Krenko. Sure, you may not be able to keep all the goblins he creates, but it completely clears your opponent's battlefield. Paired with an untap on creature death effect just makes it even more crazy.

Odds are you’ll have counters on your tokens due to the interaction with other cards in this deck so that card may be useless most times depending on what you have fielded.
I pulled a krenko from a mystery booster and immediately made a deck, this video helped, I never would have thought to use act of treason effects to untap krenko
Goblin Recruiter is a very good second tutor, especially if you play Ringleader. There's also some fun tricks with sac outlets that make Mana like Prospector and Squee, the Immortal which can get you a bunch of casts/etbs especially if Warlord is out.
I like the reasonable upgrades a lot!
I was gonna question the lack of Goblin Gathering but then i realized, SINGLETON

One thing that I put into my Krenko deck is Keldon Warlord, it’s just a great card to play when you have krenko doubling goblins every turn and can get very powerful with Krenko
Nice deck. Well done. I wanted to suggest Goblin Recruiter. It is one of the key carxs in my Krenko deck. Recruiter is a tutor for any and all the goblins that I want. You play it and search your library for any and all the goblins that you want. Shuffle your library. You then place them in what ever order you choose on top of your library. So once I have like 3-4 mana This lines up my desired goblins however I need them. I run Mogg catcher and goblin Matron to help find recruiter. Also Goblin Chirugeon is a life saver. Sacrfice a goblin to regenerate a goblin. Saves half your board in case of board wipes. With Krenko on board, wipes are no longer a problem. Also Goblin Sharpshooter is a win con.
Umbra Mantle and a great upgrade for this deck. If you are willing to drop the $9 on it, it makes Krenko go crazy and even infinite goblin and mana if you have enough goblins to sacrifice for mana. The sword is better for cost, but if you can afford both, it is good to have the backup.
I just built a Krenko deck a few days ago. Very excited to try it out. I spent closer to 70 total but yours seems much more focused lol

I believe that Reckless One would be a great addition to deck. And he works very well with Airdrop Condor
One thing I have in my krenko deck is Jaya Venerated Firemage. It makes all damage from red sources deal one extra damage. I believe that applies to impact tremors, goblin bombardment, and all of the goblins in this deck. I have used this in commander decks to catch the whole board off guard for a game wipe. If there is a good swap for it I think it is an incredibly powerful card.

Great build, I have a Chaos Wand in mine which is great for messing with blue control plus it's not an expensive card

Of my 10 commander decks, Krenko is the most effective and the cheapest to build. Obviously you want Purphoros, and a Sol Ring because that helps you get Krenko on turn 2. Goblin Recruiter only costs $2. Apart from them and a few other uncommon goblins, there isn't a whole lot else this deck needs.
@@howsjames1 You are absolutely right! Actually, one of the main reasons why I started building this deck was because it doesnt need expensive cards to stomp your rivals effectively 😎
@@k_meron I forgot what it's called but for a few bucks there's a 4-drop sorcery that destroys all nonbasic lands. No reason not to have it in a deck with only basic mountians, and I've had everyone at the table concede if everyone else isn't using monocolored decks.
I just put this deck together and it only cost me like 32 bucks with Krenko and it won by turn 6 in a tourney. Definitely gonna be making that Zacama deck now!!!!
Built my own brew of this a week or two ago. From experience, Vanquisher’s Banner, Coat of Arms, and some instant banner effects like Trumpet Blast do insane work in the deck. (With coat of arms and ten goblins in play, all your goblins are 10/10, those are some ‘roided gobbos).
Also i just slammed in a couple of Chandra’s i had laying around for some versatile planeswalker shenanigans.
My Krenko deck uses only basic Mountains so I love putting in stuff that destroys nonbasic lands, there's a ton of ways to do it in mono-red .
I'm from the future. Replace Trumpet blast with You See a Pair of Goblins.

@@traugottbauling8100 Battle Cry Goblin is pretty good too. Giving itself and all your tokens haste and +1/+0 and making a 1/1 token ontop of that is a good deal imo.
Also, sol ring is a great mana rock if you have a spare for the deck. Personally, I think i’d replace fractured powerstone with the sol ring, but hey, whatever works, works! I may throw in a Thought Vessel or Reliquary tower too…..I can’t wait to try this deck out!
When in doubt, throw goblins at your problems. If that doesn't work, you probably didn't have enough goblins.

This deck is great, I have one with the steal and sac mechanic and is really cool to play but it uses zurgo as commander, a lot of black creatures that returns from the graveyard and white wipeboards. Is a nightmare such at it sounds

I run a competitive Krenko deck and let me tell you, if you are considering buying this deck, do it. If you are willing to spend more money Purphorous is incredible in this deck. Not to mention Cavern of Souls.

@@d-rawkz6323 Outpost Siege would be a good cut for it. They both do similar things but Purphoros definitely is the stronger of the two and doesn't have to rely on creatures leaving the battlefield. Plus they're the same mana cost and both are technically enchantments.
I love this! For future reasons, have you considered Loreseeker's Stone? I find it affordable and very good card draw in most decks that aren't crazy efficient in it, or in decks that can do some serious ramp for its ability.

Never thought of that, I use my sharpshooter with Basilisk Collar. Kills anything and everything that doesn't have Indestructible.
Definitely should redo this one. Lots more cards around and its a popular commander.
