My brother bought me this for my birthday and I just want to make something with it to give to him so he knows I love it.
So when I decided I would like to try some wood carving, czcams.com/users/postUgkxfPgcZ5_Cl0HDUKkMJAKde11YKQZVgMoR I went all out and got the best Dremel I could find. I quickly discovered that carving just by hand is a long process (and painful on the hands). Rotary tools can all basically do the same things, but this one has two particular features that set it apart. First, you can use it much more dextrously since it doesn't have a power cord pulling on it. You can also take it anywhere without pulling an extension cord along with you. It's hard to overestimate the benefit of this. You'd think that you'd have to sacrifice some power for this, but this Dremel has a very strong and long-lasting battery and it charges quickly. Secondly, while most rotary told have a few speed settings, this Dremel has a sliding scale, from very slow to extremely fast. This thing can do about a million different jobs, but I would point out one drawback, which is certainly not unique to Dremel, is that it's a small chore to change out the different tips.
Ok. Let’s move on to the next video. 😃
Thanks for watching!
As soon as I heard the voice I changed videos but then came back just to reply to ur comment and like it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I just bought the 4300 kit and I really appreciate this video. Now I’m off to your other videos.
Take a shot every time he says “alright guys”
🥴
I love this review! I needed this video because I just bought one and just making sure I know how to use mine lol :D! Please do make more videos! Thank you!
That's why I'm here 🙌
Just bought this 4300 dremel today Thanks for the excellent video Not a instruction manual person
At 3:28 I see it's written "METAL" . I wanted a Dremel rotary tool to cut through wood...Any suggestion?
I've watched your other videos ,
thanks , especially correct fitting and usage of the router / cutting attachment . I just find the tool itself cumbersome . I'd prefer a drill type handle with variable speed trigger .
Thanks for watching, I appriciate the feedback. Good luck if you decide to keep using yours.
You may want to check out the Rotozip then. It's a larger tool, but it makes a great handheld router, especially for drywall cutouts. And it has a ton of accessories.
Just ordered one. I have been wanting one for a long time. Thanks for the video. 👍
I have the dremel 4300, do I need a different collet to use the chainsaw sharpening attachment
To answer my own question, yes, but its easy to find
Does anyone know why my brand new unit, has a vertical small paint mark (silver paint) inside one of the ridges with a black #2 written on it. I purchased it brand new from Amazon...Thanks!
There seem to be quite a few valid questions in comments that aren’t receiving replies in weeks. A timely answer would improve your channel, a bit, but hey, it’s great that you have put the time in to do this at all. And you’re giving info we can’t as easily without what you took the time to do. Do not pay any attention to remarks about your voice. This is not acting class.
Soo underrated. Thanks a billion
Thanks for watching, I appreciate that feedback!
@@ToddsGarage pleasure!
Hi. Thanks for the comprehensive review. I got a 4300 for hobby projects myself thanks to your video. A question for you: at 10:05 you turn the tool on lowest rpms. On mine I sometimes have a bit inconsistent rpms in 5000-10000 range (go up and down a bit), with things doing fine at 12000+. Do you have a similar experience by any chance? My tool doesn't feel as if it has any issues except for this strange feeling at low rpms.
How do I attach the sharpner accessorie? The reason I ask is when attatch the 932 and it will not screw on Dremel.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review and information
Just bought one today. Plugged it in and it won’t run unless I push the “brush cover”. Is this normal?
Great review compared to other reviews on this product. Thank you.
Thanks for watching, I am glad you liked the video!
Ok let's move on to the next accessory
Just picked one up today
Is there any Dremel model that has variable speed, no detents, and starts from zero? I need to work at low speed, the high speeds are ruining my work.
I need to replace Chuck for 4300. Is there a universal Chuck? I’ve looked for the 4300 Chuck, I get other models are they all the same?
What bits do you recommend for shaping glass
Trying to use a 4mm drill bit but it seems too big to fit in the keyless chuck. Any link to a keyless chuck that can accept a 4mm drill bit?
Thanks for this. Where is your dremel attachments playlist you said you’d link?
Hi and thanks for watching! The playlist shows up at the end of the video during the outro while the music is playing. Thanks again for watching!
Just so everyone knows the EZ lock mandrel does not come in this set. I was very disappointed when I bought this kit. Why would they even include the cutting wheels and not put the mandrel in the box?
My set came with the mandrel included. Maybe you were just unlucky?
Mine also came with it
Mine came with it to. Sorry guess your life sucks, poor thing
@@webbmichael33 Doesn't matter now douche, I took it back and got something else.
Thank you for your thorough videos. I’m new to Dremmel and all those parts were confusing before watching your videos! Thanks again.
Excellent work
Thank you! This is great!
Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
Subbed. Great video. 👍🏻
I am English so the constant ( Hi Guy's ) is superfluous. Also "we will go on to the next........!" Phrase too Long .Time taking Plus you State the Obvious. Otherwise Not too bad.
Hey, this isn’t acting class. You’d think you were from Hollywood rather than England. Cool it with the scripting advisories.
Well......that's what the manual said alright.
Do the Dremel accessories that are available separately fit onto the 4300? Or do soecific accessories only fit specific models? Thought I read somewhere that the 4000 matches accessories, but 4300 doesn't?
Hey Barbara B - did you get an answer to this?
No, I didn’t, but found it came with everything I needed, so haven’t felt the need to purchase anything else. I have used mine to cut a shape into plexiglass, used it for sanding, and also to cut thin metal bars.
Yours doesn't have the horrid 2200 rpm vibration problem many people complain of. Dremel said it was normal to one person - liars - it's their dodgy quality control I expect...
Olay let's move on to the next accessory....
It would help if you showed us how to switch the head. Cmon
I djust buy it its amazing
Thanks for watching!
Good video but can you change your voice?
Had to click dislike. Expected to see the accessories used in one video, not to go looking for them and not able to find them.
Tip, it is best to run 🏃♀️ your Dremel tool at the LOWEST speed possible, with ANY attachments. DO NOT run 🏃♀️ the Dremel tool with sanding drums 🪘, wire wheels 🛞, felt buffer 💪 wheels, at 30.000 -35.000RPM. Such wheels, and attachments will not hold 🆙 under such speeds, causing possible serious 🧐 injury. The felt buffer wheel could start smoking 🚬, or start on fire 🔥. Also DO not use underrated attachments with your Dremel tool, as far as the RPM rating. Your friend, Jeff.
If I could memorize the manual I wouldn't be watching thia video
