I grew up racing with my parents and grandfather. They all passed before I could truly learn how to sail. I miss it.
I'm still on my binge catch-up since finding your channel just over a week ago. Addictive!

So I thought I was in for some boat show walk-around, talking to various dealers, green considerations whilst sailing etc....instead you gave me ....SAILING...In a Proper English RACE!!!...love it you guys! AND the race footage was inspirational BTW...your hosts were very cool and have been through the wringer...losing a rig to a wave! R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I've friends in Cowes. They are gifted artistic ppl. One a photographer with many many beautiful photos of the sailboats doing the famous round the island race. Now I've experienced the ride/view from the sailboat going across the Solant! That is a beautiful boat. Glad they restored/saved her!
You guys are awsome ! I've done that race a few years back and I have done the round the island race 4 times. I was born in hythe just opposite the boat show and spent my childhood sailing those waters crewing for yachts in the RSYC. Welcome to my home Dan and kika.

I really hope your sponsors bought your tickets to Cowes and back, guys. I believe that ferry route is still the worlds most expensive per mile to travel upon. Great days sailing, congrats on the 3rd place and I hope to be down in Soton later on today.

Well, there were a gazillion boats out today, many doing their own races. I think there were about 10-15 in ours. We've NEVER seen so many boats out for a sail at the same time. It was pretty cool.

Thank you - that was a really fun video. I haven't been racing for quite a few years but it reminded me of what I'm missing. Cowes really is a very international event. That small little dinghy that you filmed at about 4:58 was from Hong Kong (according to its sail number)

@2:25 I believe U.S. Home Owners Insurance works the same ridiculous way. If the home receives storm damage to the roof and the home owner starts repairs before speaking with the appraiser, it can cost the home owner money, or so I've told to just tarp over the damage until the appraiser is done.

Real sailing! Sailing around the UK is ignored by most CZcamsrs because it is real sailing - rather than just setting the sails and following the winds - you actually have to sail.

Just Jump from one thing into this boat thing without even an Intro to them? you know better guys.
Well thats the raw grit of a daily vlog. We usually shoot all week and spend about 40hrs editing a video together. These are shot in on day and edited that afternoon in about 4-5 hrs, so no, they're not perfect, and, we can't go back and get a shot we missed. Don't worry, it's not permanent, we'll go back to our normal 3 vids a week when we get back to the USA.
