My husband and I will be at the Meetup for the first time. I was wondering if you have any knowledge about medical devices setting off the metal detectors as I wear a continuous glucose monitor.

Was lucky enough to meet you and Nikki January of 2020 when we could still shake hands. But too nervous to ask for a silly picture. Maybe next time Il be more confidant. 😅
If it's your first time going to Universal, do you recommend also buying the day ticket? My husband haven't been and he wants to enjoy all rides. We are planning on going to at least one meet up next time they have one
I went to 2 nights of the meetup and got an extra one day ticket. I liked having that extra day to go to the shows and parades. I didn't want to spend the low wait times of the meetup watching shows.
Hi Rix, Do you know the latest regarding when the Mummy ride will be open? We are going from 17-23 December 2022, and I'm hoping it will be running. Thanks in advance for your reply!
@@RixFlix thanks for your reply. That’s great news - I heard it was still in the “rehearsal” stage, and that they were having a lot of issues; hopefully they’ll have the kinks worked out by next month!

Medical devices are allowed, and yes it will set off the metal detector, you’ll just explain it to security after you pass through.

How about if you plan a week vacation that week of the Orlando Informer meet up and you book hotel and park can you still be there the whole day?
The park closes early for regular park guests only meetup people who will have a special wristband will be allowed in the park during meetup hours
I'm not a big ride person. I'd only wanna do maybe 8 rides. Would it be worth it for me to go?
YES! The unlimited food and park atmosphere after-hours is an experience in itself!
