I find it funny how Anna is eating donuts already after the donut challenge, but Tyler is still traumatized by the churros challenge.

I went to my first meetup the first weekend of December! I’m addicted! We started out in Seuss landing with food and rides and then worked our way around IOA. I consumed copious amounts of frozen and hot butterbeer in both parks 😋. The second night we started in Studios. This event will be something I will do once a yr now. It’s a great way for people out of state to really enjoy the parks without the crowds and waiting for rides.
That’s amazing!! We’re so glad you had a wonderful time at the meetup. The all you can drink butterbeer is dangerous, for sure! 😂 it’s such an amazing way to experience the parks. Once you go to a meetup, it’s hard to do it any other way!

That is hilarious about riding velocicoaster twice back to back. At disney they made us wait an extra 10 minutes before riding Slinky dog back to back. They tried to say that the body cannot handle riding it twice. Slinky dog. I have no words. Lol

So I came back to this video (because I'm so exited for june meetup and I'm working nights) but I think I've almost watched every video yall have. I think this may be my favorite video of yall. Funny, informative and well awesome. It's just pleasant. Yall are fun but yall clearly love these events. It's also a video that made me understand I could do these. Keep up the good work. We were at the Dec 9th & 10th meet up, too. Our first one. Friday definitely felt busier than Saturday. I think we will try another one, though it didn’t feel like there was enough time to really try all the food and also ride all the rides. Maybe we have to be more choosy next time! Though we did hit our major goal, which was Hagrid’s at night!
Hagrid’s is amazing at night! It definitely feels like time flies by at the meetups, but it’s so fun!

As for riding velocicoaster more than twice in a row, I was in line during the end of EPA about a month ago with a guy who said it was his fifth time riding it that morning 😳. Man even though it’s my favorite coaster, two times in a row is my limit 😄

I rode Velocicoaster 25 times on my birthday in February. I also drank tons of alcohol to forget how much my feet hurt haha. Even with alcohol I never get nauseous on rollercoasters for some reason. I think my stomach is made of steel. :p I'm going again this Friday, and now that VC accepts express pass I'm hoping for a much bigger number this time. :D I love going by myself so I can just marathon my favorite ride all day.

I've been here all week and have had the best time. Wait times and crowds have been way low (minus Sunday). Literally rode Revenge of the Mummy five times in a row without waiting in single rider line. Only downside is I was never able to snag a Grinch meet and greet. Six days hasn't been enough time!

During EPA, velocicoaster was empty since hagrids was backed up to Poseidon’s fury, I was able to do it 4 times back to back to back, which is perfectly fine for the youth body like me.
The OI Meet-up was so great that I think those are the only times I'll visit anymore! 😅 It was so enjoyable!

We tried meetup this December for the first time, there are couple things I didn’t appreciate, if I might share: they make you walk long distance regular line while they could do express short lines, they pack 6 people in a train room while the line was so small they could split us by parties, we didn’t see Hugrid’s line less than 35 minutes, and in some places vegan food wasn’t displayed unless you ask for it. Overall, except the weather, I think I enjoyed Tuesday express pass admission better and didn’t feel time pressure. Anyway, i’d like to try it one more time.
We’re sorry you didn’t have a great time! I think most of your complaints are really on Universal’s end during the meetup. I could be wrong, but I’d be surprised if Orlando Informer had any say in what line they use or how many people they put in a train cabin. Although the line is probably because you miss cool stuff like pre-shows if you use express. You should fill out the survey they send you afterwards and give them this feedback. Aside from Hagrid’s (which is also out of their hands, it’s just so popular) they may not be aware of these complaints.

You guys are awesome! My Husband and I always enjoy and smile while watching you guys. What time can you get in Islands of adventure and are the wet rides open during the OI meet up? Also, are the lockers available? That way if the wet rides are open we could change.
I would assume it’s subject to change, but at most of the meetups it’s at 5! And yes, temperature dependent the water rides are open and you can purchase lockers, too!
I’d probably get 3 butterbeers and I would get more if I could but I’d be so full.

We did Velocicoaster 3 times one after the other during early entry in March, it was amazing! We're back next October and are planning on doing 1 whole day of just velocicoaster to see how many times we can ride in a day, soo excited 😆😆

Oh...i didn't come back to this video after i did it but...i did velocicoaster at rope drop during pass holder month and did it 7 times in 1.25 hours. Not going lie i was fine. Buuuut...i did have back pain (i dont have best back,old soccer player) but ive recovered. But yeah. I'm not sure if it was my busy busy job or velocicoaster or both but yeah

Haven't been short enough lines when I am there (Haven't done OI event yet but will) to marathon velocicoaster but I will as soon as I can. Record was 100 rides in a day on Hulk, when I lived in Orlando. I would love to do that on Velocicoaster but not enough time in the day.

rode veloci 8 times in a row - some were literally back to back as the staff member let us wait track side for the next ride three times. wanted to do a lot more but the weather stopped us

Glad y'all had fun ... just don't get it.
1. Food isn't "Free" it's included on the ($300.00? per nite) OI tkt.
2. Please correct me, but the "free" food doesn't begin until 8 pr 9:00 p.m.?
3. Velocicoaster is pretty much a walk on, if not less than 35 minutes ride (regular tkt) time based on multiple times we've been to UOR. Hagrids is always a wait, including @ OI.
4. Dunno how much food anyone can eat after 7pm ... unlimited OI food begins @ 8 or 9 PM ... ?
6. Some rides/attractions close b4 the OI e event ends due 2 noise restrictions.
7. Perks ... Lottery 4 Pteranodon Flyers (currently closed indefinitely) & recently introduced Speak Easy.
The meetup tickets are (roughly) $270 ish for a one night, or you can do the weekend for around $350. This includes 4-5 hours of food (which often times starts before the specified time, but by that time at the latest) and the wait times are better than express. You also get into the parks at 5, so that’s 6-7 hours in the parks each night, plus the $15 food gift card. Express saves you a ton of time, but at the meetup everything except Hagrid’s has absolutely zero wait. You frequently find yourself in lands basically by yourself, and you get to spend time in the parks after dark. When you compare what you get to a two-day park to park pass + express + food, it’s actually a great deal. As a passholder that frequents the parks, we could see how it would seem less appealing, but it’s just a cool way to experience Universal.
I have ridden velocicoaster 18 times in one day if that counts lol 😅😊

Looking to purchase some tickets for an OI event later this year. I heard somewhere that outdoor attractions close early. Is this every time? And when should we expect them to close for the night?
It depends based on each event. It’s due to noise ordinances because there are neighborhoods really close to the parks. I’d say 11 pm is the earliest, sometimes it’s as late as 12 or 1. There are only a handful of attractions that close early, pretty much just the coasters.
Can only hope they do the Meet Up at Epic Universe

How do you do it? We went on December 2nd (because of you!) and managed about three things to eat before we were stuffed and about 7 rides before we were exhausted! 😆 Still well worth it for the atmosphere alone.
