This is one of my favorites! Glad to see he survived the car wash experience!
When I was a small kid, there was absolutely no thrill in life that could compare to going through a car wash. The workers would first squirt some kind of liquid or steam on the car, and you’d slowly approach this curtain that the car would pass through; then all these colors and liquids washing all over the car. Strange sounds, then after all these wondrous visual effects, clear water and you’d be out of this tunnel.
I’ve since learned in psychology that young children often relive the birth process in their fantasies; I have no doubt that the car wash experience was tapping into that. There was literally nothing in life that thrilled me more, not even close. I have no idea how old I was, but I’d guess between 2-4. I also loved elevators, provided it was an old style that had a small window through which you could see the other floors you were passing, or those fancy elevators at the American Museum of Natural History, with the manually operated lever and gate, through which you saw the other floors.

My daughter use to LOVE going through the car wash when she was little too. Never knew the psychology part of that. Thanks for sharing.
That is one fantasy that I thankfully can never lay claim to, nor would I ever want a picture of that in my mind.

Linda, Tucker is such a great dog! In my family, we had a golden retriever but when she got older she developed skin cancer and in my room I actually still have her ball, and picture to remember her, but she was such a beautiful dog either way, her name was Tatum, and she lived to the age of 14! Love you guys! ❤️😘🙏 (edit) OMG! Thank you for all of the likes and support!! I’ve never gotten so much support before thank you SO much!!
