www.lucidojewelry.com/locatio... Big thanks to Lucido for sharing on the channel. Joey Anthony And of course John (get well buddy) seikoluxe.com/products/spb225
I’ve yet to dip into seiko but I’ve been tempted for a few years now. You are absolutely right they do have something for just about everybody. This will probably be my first seiko purchase
Wow, who needs a Grand Seiko with a watch like this? If it feels as good as it looks, its a winner!! Thank you for the heads up. A good match for my Tudor GMT.
This watch is awesome. I purchased the SPB217 about a month ago and cannot take this watch off my wrist. The only downside for me is the bracelet. However, this watch is a budget Grand Seiko SPGE255 without the spring drive movement (of course). I totally recommend this watch Rob!
The Sharp Edged series Seikos are a real bargain. I luv everything about the watch except for the dial texture pattern reminds me of the big Epcot ball. Great review Rob!
I hope this movement makes it way into the propex series. This would be great on a MM200 style case. This presage series has some high end finishes on it. That’s a gorgeous watch.
It's a nice watch. Pretty good value. Sub-dial date register is very cool and very nice feature to jump that hour hand while the watch keeps time like the GS GMT's. Only 1 micro adjust is a minor niggle. Signed crown looks great.
Just picked up the 140th anniversary blue/white today. Had the AD take the bracelet off (I dislike bracelets) and throw on a navy leather Hirsch strap. Looks fantastic!
Dude $1400 for this watch is not just a steal its grand theft automatic. That is a great watch for the money just buy it in person to check the QC I know Jody had an issue with his.
I believe this movement was in the sbej001 titanium landmaster. That watch looked huge but has doubled in selling price since release from what i can tell. They were new on ebay and gnomon for under 2k semi recently now 2.5k used it seems
They're a great looking watch, these ones. It was about time Seiko found another use for this movement, I reckon. I've had the SBEJ003 Landmaster, which uses it also, since 2018...and it's a cracking big watch! Chunky, but titanium light. Sapphire and Zaratsu polished, as well....but it also has a screw-down crown. The only thing I don't care for is the date dial. It's just too small for my ageing eyes, and is time consuming to change. Nice styling, though.
Man, you’re lucky to get it lined up. I looked at two at the ad and they were both off. I would have bought them otherwise. I went for mido oceanstar gmt instead.
Excellent video. Beautiful watch. Is too much to ask Seiko to give us sapphire signed crown AND screw in links!? Yes of course it is, but maybe one day...
Hi Rob, I have the black dial/bezel version and it's stunning, dare I say real grand seiko vibes, but at a much lower price, I got 20% off when I ordered mine. The movement is great I'm getting -2 seconds a day. My only criticism would be the date wheel is tricky to read, its small and is often partially obscured by the hands..but no watch is perfect..this gets 9 out of 10 from me...
I came very close to getting one of these, they are stunning. But, I heard Seiko was coming out with a titanium GMT last August, so I held off; if they did I haven't seen it!? 🤷♂️
Love this watch, and would own one right now if not for the size. @ 42mm with a 49mm L2L, and protruding center links brining that total to over 50mm...."small wrists need not apply here". Of course this is not something that I am ever surprised with when it comes to Seiko, they tend to lean towards the larger market when it comes to their watches. Few things I would have like to see done differently; 100m WR should be accompanies with a screw down crown IMO, I would like to see a lumed seconds hand, and 1 micro...why bother?? Though with the half links I'm sure not a deal breaker. Absolutely gorgeous watch though.
I always liked the "sharped edge" models but I can't buy each watch I like. But this one makes me thinking of the first model with a small second. Am I the only one who thinks that this would look really good?
What is the reference number for that green dial and gold bezel MM200?? Or is it a SPB207 with the bezel from SPB240? That watch is just simply gorgeous.
I like the fact this is a true traveler's GMT. However, I wish it was a tad smaller/slimmer. Size wise, it's better wearing for a larger case size compared to Swatch groups similar offerings from Hamilton and Mido. But, more of as might for me, I don't care for the date wheel at 6. I would prefer a retrograde date which I know they can modify the movement to be a retrograde display instead. They've done it on some of their other leave models before. Idk, maybe this try GMT movement might make a difference and cannot modify it. I think that would balance the dial a little betterment and match the power reserve "sweep across" look if they could.
Jumping hour watch has hour shown in aperture and it changes instantly, this is an "independent hour hand" or "time zone switch". Otherwise if you call this "jumping hour" then every watch is a "jumping minute watch"...
overall DIAL look good ,but the date is just too small to be useful .Seems Citizen &bSeiko make the same mistake when they want to charge more with a cheap date window. Also the case cutting has lesser line detail than swiss counterpart
I like the dial color, but not the stiletto hands. Also, I can't tell if it's just paranoia from bad experiences with other misaligned bezels with Seiko, but to me the 10, 11 and 1 all look misaligned to the left. It's nice, but it's not a $1400 watch, either.
You top this watch by buying a G shock with a second world time zone which most have. $1,400 is a good budget for a high end G shock that could last a lifetime. These Seiko's & Grand Seiko's are gorgeous although from a distance they look like an old school watch. Nothing special unless you know watches.
This is the first true GMT I could actually buy! Well done Rob!👍
Seiko Magic will always draw you back in! They have a watch for everyone’s pallet. They hook you quick. 🎰
So true!!
I’ve yet to dip into seiko but I’ve been tempted for a few years now. You are absolutely right they do have something for just about everybody. This will probably be my first seiko purchase

You're definitely right about this one rob great looking watch great price. Seiko outdid themselves on this one.
I hope this movement makes it way into the propex series. This would be great on a MM200 style case. This presage series has some high end finishes on it. That’s a gorgeous watch.

Love the watch...love the colorway......thanks for reviewing this reference....
42mm, perfect, I'll be adding the green to my collection 👌👍
Seiko still knocking it out of the park !
Really well done watch - digging this colorway. Dial is fantastic.
Mido Ocean Star GMT would be another watch of great value for the money.
Yes,the mido is not a high beat movement thou.
Just picked up the 140th anniversary blue/white today. Had the AD take the bracelet off (I dislike bracelets) and throw on a navy leather Hirsch strap. Looks fantastic!
Rob - really good macro shots. That is an incredible watch, indeed. It also has a little of the angular Samurai look as well.
Gorgeous!
You make great vids, man!
looks great!
Looks great!
You should check out the SPB223. It's the limited edition 140th anniversary edition and it looks great with the blue and white colors.
Yes!
I own that one and I can tell you it's a great watch!
I recently ordered a Hamilton Converter GMT. Just waiting on shipping. It is a similar price and offers the jumping hour hand function also.
I have one with black dial .
It's fantastic watch

Spectacular watch

That pointer caught me off guard lol!
Just bought this today!
The Christopher Ward C63 GMT is an option. The green dial with orange accents is next on my list and it's also less expensive than this Seiko.
Hi Rob, I have the black dial/bezel version and it's stunning, dare I say real grand seiko vibes, but at a much lower price, I got 20% off when I ordered mine.

True, date is the Achilles for this model i feel myself
The only thing that stops me pulling the trigger on buying one is the date wheel, not a fan at all.
Rob & co.
Man... I'm really split now. I was planning on getting the CW Sealander C63 GMT but now I'm really in doubt...
I came very close to getting one of these, they are stunning. But, I heard Seiko was coming out with a titanium GMT last August, so I held off; if they did I haven't seen it!? 🤷♂️
Superb! The 6 series movement is less than +5 sec a day and the 8 series is less than + 3sec.
Love the presage gmt and @$1400 it's a good deal
I’m going to call the the Oreo dial. Great watch!
wow this is insane value
I'd love to find one of these in person to see if I could pull off the L2L. I'm jealous of you guys with 7+ inch wrists.
Amazing watch ! ❤for people who can not buy Rolex and so on…
That is flipping gorgeous 😍 Darn you Seiko. Every time I try to get out you suck me back in. 🤣
Love this watch, and would own one right now if not for the size. @ 42mm with a 49mm L2L, and protruding center links brining that total to over 50mm...."small wrists need not apply here". That is a very beautiful watch! By the way, is that finger fully lumed? 😂
I always liked the "sharped edge" models but I can't buy each watch I like. But this one makes me thinking of the first model with a small second. Am I the only one who thinks that this would look really good?
Now we need this high beat movement with just the date/no date version in an affordable seiko.1000 usd or lesser would be good.
I own this and it's a boutique edition. Mine runs 2 seconds fast and lume is great..
I hope and pray Seiko makes this model in a 38mm version or maybe 39mm like the Baltic GMT.
What is the reference number for that green dial and gold bezel MM200??
Or is it a SPB207 with the bezel from SPB240? That watch is just simply gorgeous.
Sry, I watched again and it was the SPB240. At first klipse it seemed to be green dial, but it wasn't. My bad.
I like the fact this is a true traveler's GMT.
However, I wish it was a tad smaller/slimmer. Size wise, it's better wearing for a larger case size compared to Swatch groups similar offerings from Hamilton and Mido.

Thought it was a Grand Seiko from the thumbnail. Thats good right?
That's sharp!
Its like the type of quality value watch Seiko used 2 do b4 they put their prices up, like the SARB. This just looks way more expensive than it is
Model no SPB225 OR SPB275 ? I'm just confused.
Jumping hour watch has hour shown in aperture and it changes instantly, this is an "independent hour hand" or "time zone switch". Otherwise if you call this "jumping hour" then every watch is a "jumping minute watch"...
Baby Grand isn't it? Wish it didn't have a power reserve but this is the GS movement......nice peice otherwise
overall DIAL look good ,but the date is just too small to be useful .Seems Citizen &bSeiko make the same mistake when they want to charge more with a cheap date window. Also the case cutting has lesser line detail than swiss counterpart
I wanna love this watch. Just not sure I really like the waffle look of the dial face. And no rotating bezel 😞
All watches should have jumping hour hands, easier to adjust on daylight saving time.
Wait. We can’t all be first. Let’s just all agree that I was first. 🤣🤣🤣
I like the dial color, but not the stiletto hands. Also, I can't tell if it's just paranoia from bad experiences with other misaligned bezels with Seiko, but to me the 10, 11 and 1 all look misaligned to the left. It's nice, but it's not a $1400 watch, either.
First 🤘🏻
A jumping hour hand is called a true GMT.
The date dial ruins it for me personally
First!
Yet another 'old mans' watch from Seiko.
Really not me, but i must admit the Tuna is another story, that's probably my favourite Seiko.
First.lmao

-15 to +25 sec/day "not too bad"? Sorry Rob, that's terrible, especially considering Seiko's means and ability to do better.
I prefer the Rolex GMT master 2 Batman ..... Over any Seiko out there .... Rob ,☺️👌👍😎😎💪☝️
