HUGELY beneficial, gentleman - great practical knowledge as well as much needed inspiration. TY!
As a 69-almost-70-year-old 15 months out from spinal fusion surgery (hit by car - TBI + spinal issues), I'm finally able to ramp my cycling back up after 4+ years of pain and inactivity.
Dedicated more than ever to health and well-being, a disciplined regimen of good sleep, a vegetarian protein diet along with key and critical supplements, stretching and low-impact bands and TRX - good, clean (boring - lol) living.
Been maintaining 3-4 rides/week the past two+ months; 15+- miles/ride. Heaven and freedom.
Again, thank you for the podcast and the inspiration. Keep up the great content!

30,40,50 even up to 60 if you stay with it you’ll lose a little each decade but can still be within 10%. After 60 it’s almost like every year is 3x the effect. At 70 I’m probably 70% of 60.

The sponsor seems to conflict with the discussion. Isn't Huel a "junk convenience food"?

Hi Antony, thanks for another fascinating conversation! I really do not agree with you on the subject of religion, there is a good reason why people attribute religion to God and the law to people, the difference between human morality such as if you do this you will go to jail, and divine morality, that is a huge difference. Nazi Germany was full of law and order, and in their own eyes the Nazis were very honest. It didn't stop them from trying to wipe out some nations that they thought were unnecessary in the world. I mean god can you imagine the world without gypsies? Without Jews? And it comes from law and order. God's secret is that he is revealed out of the joy of doing good. When you exercise and feel good, it's a temporary matter, but when you help your friend, it's an eternal matter, because this good has now been expressed and will continue to unfold. My rule is, the nature of the good to do good. That's why whoever connects to the divine within becomes good, but it is also possible to dress and behave like a religious person and still be a...

If we stop here we will be left with a question: If the nature of the good is to do good and therefore he created me to do good, can I live without faith? Joy is liveliness. In the most minimal definition. So to be happy I must believe. Can I feel satisfied? Yes. Can I feel happy independently? Only if I believe. Now everyone will believe what they want. Unfortunately people really believe in temporary values like diet and sports instead of eternal values of giving with a happy heart and helping others without it coming back to me in karma or honor and money.
