    Well I’ve just ordered The Model Geoff is working on and 4 Humbrol powders, from Wonderland models, I’m still a beginner but these videos are awesome and very informative , plus motivational. Thanks Humbrol and Geoff

    A very authentic look Geoff, I'm an armour modeller myself so probably not qualified to comment but I think those exhaust stains on the wings were more prevalent on bombers, I imagine the airflow on fighter's wing roots was too fast for exhaust particles to deposit effectively - not a problem with tanks!

    Amazing just with powders..Sometimes panel washing can go too crazy in lines,though still great stuff..But with powders you have control..Though more slow but slow gets better results..Thank you for a great video.👍

    I think the "technical term" you were looking for when you first started doing the fuselage exhaust stain is "stippling"

    I’m new to modelling and the employee of my local shop said, that I need to mix the weathering powder with decalfix is this correct? As after watching your video, I see your applying it dry, and also using it for the planes panel lines which looks great - any advice would be much appreciated

      @@CHORDMARTINsorry for the late reply. you can buy some decal sheets with swastikas on them from other companies, I'm assuming airfix don't have the swastika in the kits so they can sell the kits in Germany

      @CHORDMARTIN Před 3 lety

      @@LHoriginal. Neither Airfix, Revell or Italeri include swastikas in their kits leaving any Luftwaffe plane incomplete. I ordered a large strip from a company called FCM in Brazil. Took a long time to arrive but they're fine. Where are you from by the way?

    Geoff, sorry, once again I had to stop watching. Please, please (and everyone else who makes videos) stop including unnecessary background music. Honestly, there really is no need for it and it is so distracting, let alone irritating, no matter how 'background' it might be.
    Thanks.

    Why do you so called super detailist put pilotsbin.now for over twenty year most company's don't add pilots any more thanks to you guys with all this detailing you took away the imagination out of models.now spraying them black before painting all the modeller will probably b molded in black thanks to you feinds for detail.you ruined 1/72nd scale armor by your first building the tank then painting it .dragon has the tracks and the running gear miles together they look like godamn toys.thanks to you airbrushing fanatics .you took the fun out of brushing.thank you give me the old air fix and hasegawa armor.i will take an old Heller kit with no interior than a super detailed cockpit with no pilots man you guys make it hard for young modelers and don't tell me about snap fit.i was making models at 4years old.shameful how you took modeling to a fanatical state

      Why are you watching this them? Why are you so bitter and twisted? It's called personal choice,enjoy building models however you want,weathering, painting, airbrushing, brush painting there all down to you,no need to attack someone who is just showing you what's possible, get a life.

      Tamiya, to their credit, nearly always supply pilots. But it’s up to the modeller themselves whether to include them or otherwise.
