It definitely becomes more accentuated during times of stress or lack of sleep (e.g. med school exams). I have the same. I have it since I'm born I inherited it genetically from my grandfather. And it was frustrating when I was in puberty. Kids were mocking me and stuff. But now when I'm grown up I accepted myself and I love that I got some unique trade of my grandpa who is not among us anymore. I love u grandpa 💕

@@naya-fx1io I also got this by birth and genetics. My aunt got this little bit. But I got it as it's pretty much visual. Everyone bullied me and make fun of me including my own bloods. I had gone through such a trauma because of this. Even no boy wants to talk to me because I look ugly because of this. But now I pretty much accepted myself as it is the last and only option I left.
@@esakkibanu5495totally understand, most important thing is to never let anyone's opinion about ur aperiance affect u anymore. And family members can be sometimes rlly toxic so just ignore them. U see u not alone, we r not uglier or less worth then others, but unique ✌️

I don't think i have ptosis but I've had very bad sleep problem and it got to me now with double crease or triple crease in my eyelid on the left now I'm fixing my sleep

People always made fun of me because of my big eyes so I started wearing shades which messed with my eyes thus I got a droopy eyelid on my right eye.I made matters worse and am always angry at myself for letting others people opinion mess with my self esteem.

The same compound is also in nasivins nose spray for babies. Its an oxymetazolin solution.

Hi, since you mentioned that your ptosis is aggravated by stress/lack of sleep. Is your ptosis by any chance caused by oculat mysthenia gravis? My ptosis is aggravated by lack of sleep and fatigue as well and i was diagnosed with this condition.

So I only need it for one eye also. Since there’s enough for two have you tried saving the second drop for the following day? I’ve seen reports on Reddit saying you can use it for multiple days and to just keep it sanitary and maybe in the fridge after opening.

Does NOT cure it. You have to use it forever. It lasts about 6-8 hours.

I just bought some should be here by tommrow. I’ve had a droopy left eye since birth to. I’ve seen things saying that it might not work if u were born with it. But I’ve also seen Reddit reviews saying it works great. So I splurged the 200$ and took the gamble. Gunna be pretty upset if it didn’t work. Either way I’m ready to get the surgery to repair it in a few months.
It should help with this kind of ptosis I but I would talk to a derm or ophthalmologist to make sure you’re the right candidate
@@dr.mamina ordered a box Wednesday and it came today. It did help some. Upper eyelid cleared my pupil for the first time. Used it when I was really tired so looking forward to seeing it work while I’m well rested.

I did the surgery earlier this year. Unfortunately, it did not work for me. My left eye still droops..not trying to talk you out of it, but just keep in mind that it may not give you the result you want.

Hey! I looked up the generic name for upneeq and found another product called visine that contains oxymetazoline. Have you ever tried it out?
Visine LR *HAD* a 0.025% concentration and Upneeq *HAS* a 0.1% concentration. You need a prescription for the Upneeq and Visine LR was taken off the market...probably to price gauge, sadly.
You typed ‘dermatologist’ in the description, but isn't it opthalmologist?
Both dermatologists and ophthalmologists can prescribe Upneeq
