The processor can handle up to almost any highend demanding game, as it can overclock and run higher demanding games quite nicely. But the GPU is not very powerful, and has to run some games on medium settings. But for the most part games run smoothly and overall it's a great computer.

Looks like each Best Buy gets 2 of them one for display and on for buying. So make sure to call ahead before you head out.
I have the G74 which is the older brother of the g75 and It runs crysis 2 at 40 fps ( on medium settings) and battlefield 3 at 40 fps (on high settings) and minecraft at 120 fps

Paul, I saw you disassembled this entirely, I have G75 and just wondered if it was possible to update the GPU, not just the chip but the card, to upgrade from 660m to 670m. I've seen that it seems to come out the entire graphics card.

Paul, any chances that you can loop a full hd video with wifi on on the laptop to see how long it is able to last with its battery alone?
Oh, i don't think so, just download from pirate bay and try some singleplayer, also download 3d mark vantage and test it if you can!
When you received the laptop, did it come with the mounting bracket / bay thing for the second hard drive? or did you have to buy another one to fit the 2nd hdd and install it? basically, do you know if it comes with both bays installed or do i have to buy a bay if i want to install a second hdd. Would appreciate a response. tyvm
Could you possibly make a video of you putting in the extra RAM? the two slots that you have to tear the keybaord out to get too. im scared to do it without guidance
It's already out in the US. Australia is May 15th I believe. And I will let u know! It's coming in on Thursday and Friday!!! Do you think it will run games on ultra without doing anything to it? Straight out of the box?

I hear that the 660m GPU from best buy is "gimped" or underclocked with less bus width, what is the bus width of the laptop? I will sub if you help me out on this because I am debating on which asus rog laptop to get.

This will run anything you throw at it. SWTOR is actually not that system intensive. :)

Man, are you nuts? Of couse it will run SWTOR, that's not a demanding game. If it runs BF3 it will run SWTOR, no worries...
