  • In this video, young mechanic Aiman will show you how to remove the front seatbelt buckle / receiver as well as how to remove the front driver and passenger seats on a 2004 Honda Accord (which is the same for Accord model years 2003, 2005, 2006 & 2007 DX LX EX 2.4L & 3.0L engine).
    The removal, replacement and installation process should be the same for most Honda and Acura cars such as Civic, Element, CRV, Pilot and Odyssey.
    Thanks for watching. There are many more DIY instructional videos & step-by-step guide already published by young mechanic Aiman but there are many more automotive how-to fix, remove, replace and install videos that have yet to be uploaded onto his channel, especially since he is dismantling his Honda Accord in order to help give you ideas on how to fix or repair you cars, vehicles, minivans and SUVs.
    This video is presented to you by young mechanic Aiman-Imran Zulhilmi Anuar. Please be sure to watch other DIY auto repair videos on Aiman's EyeOnAiman youtube channel & facebook page.

    Don't forget to disconnect the battery! Anything with the yellow plugs deals with airbags 😶

    some other video said that some of the wires on the bottom are for the side air bag and that you should disconnect the batter before removing the clips. something to maybe think about if you do this

    Nice work. Isn't it a good idea to remove the negative terminal of the battery before unplugging wires?

    • @joshuamoriarty5698
      @joshuamoriarty5698 Před 4 lety

      There are no super unsafe live wires popping out, those caps he presses to get them out contain them so you should be ok unless you dont have them

      @@joshuamoriarty5698 I assume they are seatbelt and weight sensor/airbag wires. Could unplugging them cause an issue with the airbag system? I just need to clean underneath so I won't unplugged them anyway.

    I have a problem with the driver’s side electric seat of Accord 2004, while adjusting its back it feels on right side after reaching to certain position. I’m not sure but looks like there is an issue with the right-side joint which connects seat and its back.
    Any help?
    Thanks

    No worries lil bro, those "bolts" have a technical name and that is "hex head cap screws" ...so you're fine calling them screws...or play it safe and call them fasteners like you were doing.
    One small thing, for me personally anyway, I'd rather hear you call the socket "14mm" rather than "#14". If you're under the hood of a vehicle and said "hey pass me that #10 wrench, I'd definitely be looking at you funny lol. But if you say hey pass me that 10 millimeter wrench, Id know exactly what you want.
