Do you think it would be useful to see what your KDP low content book competitors are ranking for with keywords? So you can use them to target your own book? Well you can with the Helium 10 software suite and in particular the Cerebro module. You can find out what keywords your competitors are ranking for and what keywords are bringing in most of their sales. You can then use these keywords to rank your own books, make sales and collect royalties.

The problem is with this Helium 10 is that it costs a lot of money. The free version is extremely limited.

Hello Paul! Excellent video I have learned a lot with the information you give away my question is where should I look at the results of amazon? in all departments or in books because the amounts are very different sometimes. Thanks for your answer...
All departments.
You can take them to Frankenstein. It's more easy to get the words
Hi, your videos are great! I know you do a lot of low content books but do you have any insights on ranking for novels? thanks
I've only worked with a couple of people on novels. Keywords help but you can only really use them in the 7 keyword boxes although it does depend on the type of novels. Some you can get away with. The secret nowadays to building sales is by building an audience on social media.
Hi paul, sometimes helium 10 show some keywords which don't have any relation with title. For example i searched for this product : "easter composition notebook" and in the list of keywords of helium i found "cat notebook girls"
thank you
You’re welcome.
Great clip! So do we choose keyword phrases with the highest IQ score? Because I see some keywords have good search volume but very high competition. Thank you!
The higher IQ score keywords indicate they could be easier to rank for while still having the potential for sales. You want low competition and hopefully decent search volume.
@@paulmarles thanks so much
Hi I'm from marocco I love you bro ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you 🙏
Hey! What if i use frankenstein in h10 to remove duplicats? i will still rank for those words? or it will be new keywords with
difference search volume etc...
Paul, thanks for all the videos you upload! Regarding Helium 10, I had a question. I know we can input limits on search volume and competitors to reduce the number of keyword results on Helium 10. But I noticed that most of the keywords that showed up after the filters had spelling errors. Can you please tell what use-value keywords with spelling errors have for us? Obviously, those misspelled words cannot be used for the title or the sub-title. But is it useful to include misspelled words (that were found through Helium 10) in our 7 backend slots? I am not sure, but I think KDP rules forbid the use of misspelled words in the 7 backend slots?
Yes, put them in the 7 keyword boxes.
@@paulmarles , thanks :)
Hello Paul! Thank you for the great video! I've got a question if you could answer I would be really grateful! I've published a few books recently but when I search for them using keywords I cannot see them anywhere...not even on the last page...only if I look by the author's name that they come up...Any idea why?
Nice job Paul. Can I copy the best keywords for those listed and fill it in Amazon 7 boxes?
Yes, you can.
So you've got your the keywords to the #1 raking product. How do you outrank them by using keywords that they already rank well for? Or is the idea that using the #1 product keywords you should beat all the rest to #2 and then hopefully more people will see your book and buy, getting it into #1? Or that using the organic keywords or #1 in your keyword boxes that you might outrank them if they haven't got them in the keyword boxes too? Love to see a video on ranking low content books!
A book maybe ranking number 1 for a particular keyword but they may not be targeting that keyword or optimised for it, i.e. it's not in the title, therefore with a book that is optimised for a keyword you would have a good chance of outranking them. However, there are other factors that come into play than just keyword optimisation for rankings which are the reviews and BSR, but it it's a start. Great idea for a video - thank you.
I have a question about impressions. Are impressions created when people type in specific keywords.
Many Thanks
Jason Chapman
When a customer types in a keyword and your book appears, that is an impression.
Hi Paul,
Could you tell me what would be the best way to use a shareable link to promote a KDP book
that would also help with rankings if that link does generates sales?. (My social media influencer niece wants to put a link to my book(s) on her link tree/website. Also, I myself would like to share on my social media without asking them to search specific keywords and making them scroll around to find. Thanks for any input. YOU ROCK!
Trish
You could take the web address and shorten it in something like bit.ly
Hi Captain , thank you so much for vedio 🌹🌹🌹
Please in 2:47 you said the organic keywords for this book is 2550 , my question is how can I add the huge number of keywords like this book to my book ?
You can’t. You’ve got to pick the bast ones that you thank are appropriate to your book.
@@paulmarles
Yaa, I understand your strategy of taking advantage of the keywords of this book , but how did the author of this book add all of this?
@@abdabushe4512 i think this tool give you a combinaition of the keywords for this book this why you see a lot of keywords so you think the author put all this
Thanks for your suggestion to try a free 1-month trial.
You’re welcome.
I have a question from Paul, it seems that the KDP market will become saturated with time. ??
Why do you think that? There are thousands and thousands of niches.
Do you mean there is noT any sales by books on 2nd 3rd or 4th page
Do these books make any sale ?
Correct me if I'm wrong, do we need to do the 3 books less than 3,00,000 formula here as well? after filtering the competitions low than 1000?
That's just for deciding what niches to pursue.
Hey captain can u tell me how can added my paperback on 10 categories?
You need to email KDP support and tell them what categories you want your book added to. 10 is a bit too many though!
Can you make a video about this?
How can you explain that my just released e-book has a BCR but it's not been reflected in the sales report?
You will have a sale from this book when delivred to client
Yes, as Danny KDP day, was not see it in sales report when it’s sent out to the customer.
how about the minimum good search volume value? 300?
That would be good if you could rank highly for that keyword.
hello from marocco, nice tool, have you used publisher rocket?? do you think we can use it to do keyword research fast?
wach hellium free ola paid?
A video on publisher rocket is coming up!
that is, if you enter the phrase niche on the first page in the "all" category and the results on the first page are shown with almost the same products under this name on the first page, it means that there is nothing to enter this niche? I understand well
Not quite.
Hi Paul am still confused. Let's say am looking for unicorn colouring book in all departments search bar and I get 200 results but when convert to book I get alot of results like 2000/3000 so Wich one is good for me thanks again
I have done a video on this: czcams.com/video/JKON43Oegv8/video.html
If I can’t find sponsored keywords for a book in cerebro, does it mean it’s never been advertised? Or that it hasn’t been advertised in the last 1-2 (?) days?
Probably it's never been advertised.
When a search result says that the book has 1600 organic keywords... where does it get it from? How can they stuff 1600 keywords into their product page? How is that possible?
They are keywords that Amazon has associated with the book based on title, subtitle, 7 keyword boxes and what customers click on when they enter various keywords. Also, with just 7 keywords - think how many combinations there could be.
Update: They don't give the free version anymore
Kind of cool but unfortunately is too expensive.
I use h10 its not important . The best way is manual
I agree. It just gives you extra information but it’s not vital. I’ve found it more useful for very competitive niches.
@@paulmarles that means we can not rely on helium 10 ???
always first
