Helium 10 is an incredible software that all Amazon seller should understand how to use. In this tutorial I go over exactly how to use cerebro to spy on your competitors and get specific keywords that are driving them sales.
Cerebro is an incredible tool because it allows you to compare all of the top competitors and really get to the specific keywords and their search volume. This allows you to easily decipher between which keywords are worth adding in your listing and which ones are not.
Without Cerebro it would be very hard to think of all of the potential keywords that customers on Amazon are searching for. This is why understanding how to use Cerebro is very important and can really make a difference between getting some sales and getting a lot of sales on Amazon.
Cerebro also allows you to have specific keywords that you can run ads for. This is very important because you can see how many competitors are running ads for a specific keyword.

Very interesting and useful, thanks. All feels a bit naughty (copying Keywords), but looks like a really smart way to ensure you have the best chance of sales. Can't wait to get up and running now! Roll on the first product!

Once you get these longer tail keywords are you putting them into an EXACT campaign only AND, if you are running a BROAD campaign as well, should you NEGATIVE that EXACT keyword into your BROAD campaign so as to not be competing with the same keyword within two campaigns?

I would recommend having the same term in both campaigns because exact search and broad search work differently. For Broad and exact match they target different phrase types. Example: For a broad search if a customer searches for “dog treats” then you ad will show up if you are trying to index for “golden retriever dog treats”. BUT if they search for “golden retriever dog treats” and your running and exact match campaign for “dog treats” anything before or after the words “dog treats” (like “golden retriever dog treats” will not allow your ad to pop up. So I like to run the same keywords for exact and broad because exact will only have ads pop up on customers searches where the term is exactly what they search for. Whereas a broad campaign will allow words before and after the phrase they typed in to allow your product to pop up.
Which ever method you choose you want to be constantly monitoring your PPC campaigns and excluding words are not performing so that you can have the best performance for the cost!
      I hope that makes sense!

@@thepassivepath1157 Thank you so much for your input... I just came into your videos and I find them very informative. If you don't mind I do have a couple of other questions about Negative Keywords... let's say I have a Broad and an Exact campaign. My exact campaign has one keyword which says: Mason Jar Soap Dispenser. Then, my Broad Campaign has the same Keyword: Mason Jar soap Dispenser. these two long tail keywords are the most relevant for my product. When doing a Search Report, I see that one of the Search Terms show: White Mason Jar Soap Dispenser. Should I negative the whole long tail Keyword "White Mason Jar Soap Dispenser" or just the word "White"? AND, is it white to have both long tail keywords in both campaigns? Will they cancel each other out this way? I know this i a lot to ask but if you could help I would be so grateful. Thank you!!!
