What is with people overreacting at roundabouts? drive calm people, whats the big deal?
Especially when people are in the wrong lane. People make mistakes, but all the cam cars that drive the same roundabout everyday wont accept them. Its quite sad really.

The big deal is people not paying attention and not yeilding to oncomming traffic. Learn to bloody drive or walk.

They speed up as they get close to the roundabout then when someone pulls
out they stop their car in the middle of the roundabout and start beeping making
a foooookin huge scene...I've cut people up on roundabouts and others have cut
me up people do it all the time they pull out on me randomly its realy not a big deal
If you're a confident driver...The dashcam users don't apply any break when someone
pulls out on them to make it look dramatic 6:27 watch the dashcam drivers reaction

I remember one video a while ago "Chris" was his name every upload was him speeding
into a round about to do a U turn which allot of people don't expect..Or he would put
is foot down coming off the roundabout to try and make it look like someone pulled
out on him..In reality they give way but b the time they pulled out he was right there
because he was speeding around as fast as he could....I would say 99.9% of these
are caused on purpose..Which is a real shame for the dashcam users who are
genuine..
I always try to indicate coming off a roundabout if i notice a truck sitting there waiting to move off as i know how slow they are to move off.

The thing that annoys me is people who have someone cut them up on the roundabout. Yes, it is annoying, but by stopping on the roundabout completely to make sure your camera got it or to shake your head in disgust you are becoming an obstruction. Brake a little to avoid crashing and keep going. Get over it. I've got so many of those clips on my camera, but I don't find them all too surprising any more. Most of the cam cars on here are becoming dangers to other road users.
Absolutely agree. And the idiots that stop unnecessarily don't only confine it to roundabouts.
The people who come to a stop for minor inconvinences piss me off, like cmon get moving and fuck off, you dont need to take a selfie and tweet it, get your shit in gear and drive.

If I'm honest you can't tell. You can't see the road markings before the roundabout to tell wether the car was in the wrong lane or not
Steven K if you can be undertaken you're in the wrong lane. Keep left unless overtaking. Its a simple rule.

except if at the end of this bridge he intends to turn right he is in the correct lane - speed limit is 40 and most drivers don't do that - they do 50+ on this bridge - basically the Jazz driver is just another Doncaster scumbag that bought their licence!

Yep, there is nothing wrong with going the speed limit, but maybe do it on the inside lane.
except that there is a god awful junction at the end of this bridge and if you're going right being in this lane is the best thing to do!
What bridge is it?
it's one in Doncaster over the river Don, It's called St. Georges Bridge, A19, he's travelling north bound! - at the end of his lane it splits into 2 lanes , the same with the inside lane (so 2 lanes become 4, I don't know what time it is but it can be a nightmare with traffic at peak flow)
You cn see in the footage that follows the undertake the dashcam driver falls behind the rest of the traffic in front. My biggest pet hate on the road are drivers like this!
A lot of these are minor mistakes on here. See and deal with this all the time. Plus, some of the cammers are being a bit OTT over trivial things.
9:15 looks like the camera vehicle tries to ram the vw or had a failed attempt at blocking it!

The number of genuine "dashcam wankers" in this video is unreal. Speeding up to create situations on roundabouts or merges, complaining about people that were on the roundabout before them, but expect them to clear the way before they get there.
99% of the time, a small lift of the throttle or carrying on as you're going and there's nothing to be stressed about and everyone could carry on having a much better day.
I hate poor drivers at the best of time, but when 99% of it can be either anticipated or isn't in the wrong to begin with, why stress out about it?

6:39 ridiculous. The black van was at the roundabout long before the dashcam car. The dashcammer is just a bully in a large vehicle.
The cammer not only bullies his/her way into the roundabout but cuts it completely.
I would not say long before but the cammer could have just let off the gas, take the roundabout the way you are supposed to and not be a complete twat ... but then again ... he wouldn't have a video to upload would he.

TheDutyPaid people don't realise a 15 year old 18 tonne bus don't accelerate as fast as a car. wouldn't have been a problem if cam car accelerated normally
I actually drive buses out onto that roundabout regularly from lower Simonside and you can sit there for ages waiting for a gap, as far as this vid goes it's pretty tame, I've seen hundreds of near misses while the roadworks have been there, it's now all light controlled and a bigger pain than it ever was
8:26 Yes it was fine to pull out. The driver of the bus had time to be far enough out of the entry to the roundabout that the car driver could see him... blatantly the pig of a car driver could not be bothered to allow the bus to carry on.
Given an RTC, the car driver would have been at fault.
Buses and lorries don't accelerate anywhere near as quickly as cars, a lot of people don't seem to understand that. I suppose the bus could've waited for a big enough gap (which will probably never happen) and get beeped at by all the cars stuck behind it?
Good call. Buses have to keep to a tight schedule and the bus driver here did absolutely nothing wrong. It was an absolutely safe manoeuvre, executed within the law. The only one at fault was the speeder filming it.
I drive buses in Australia, we have double lane roundabouts here, and the amount of cars that try to get in front of you, it's crazy. We have people on board.
Agreed. That's a 40mph road and getting out onto that roundabout is a twat. And that bus actually moved a lot quicker than the ones I drive.

This is why I hate being a learner on the road, too many stupid and impatient drivers. The last lesson I had, I almost crashed into someone because he indicated too bloody late and I had to break hard to stop.
The Highway Code tells you to keep a safe braking distance from the vehicle in front of you.

A13 between Dagenham and the M25 is the worst road I have ever seen for people sitting in the middle lane.
I don't mean to sound racist but there's a disproportionately high number of Asian drivers who hog the middle lane of the m25 and a3. Especially the minicab drivers. Not sure how many of them got their licence in the uk.
Most of these incidents are minor issues that are not even worth mentioning. Why is everyone so perpetually angry these days that they get pissed off by everything in life. If someone does something wrong on the road, just slow down and allow them to continue. It's actually astonishing how much better you will feel if you adopt such an attitude.

I'm not a perfect driver but am happy to keep within speed limits. That guy zooming through a 20 is classic. I've had people driving up my backside, their faces red as beetroot with anger, because I'm obeying a 20 limit. I keep calm :)

What gets my back up is, when a driver speeds up on a vehicle pulling out in front and then you hear the driver pippin the horn and shouting abuse. If the driver hadn’t sped up in the first place there would be no problems....!

Had to laugh at Proteus from 5:00 to 5:15 - same junction going in and out of the local shopping centre in Eastleigh, Southampton on the same day! 😂
99% of these video are people with the cameras speeding up to try and get something on camera, or causing something out of nothing. More obvious when you see the same person check their camera after every minor thing when their eyes should be on the road.
Oh, the comments before each clip are also annoying. Leave it the Police and / or insurance to make their mind up.
Neal Parry that doesn't make sense at all as the camera will show the drivers error just the same. I have dash cams front and rear and you forget they are there. They are, however, invaluable in the era of the crash for cash scammers. I for one think they should be built into all new cars then fault in any accident can be quickly ascertained.
I have a dash cam but I don't feel the need to honk my horn and check my camera when someone indicates and wants to change lanes...
I like dash cams and I also believe they should be fitted on vehicles as standard. There's no reason why they can't be these days as the cost is negligible.
Neal Parry I've got one too and the amount of time I'll save a clip that angered me at the time and look back to see that it really wasn't that bad and/or close and delete it... most of the people sending these clips in don't seem to have the ability to delete pointlessly saved clips.

At 2:30 it looks as if the dash cam user accelerates onto the roundabout to try and make the guy in the blue car look bad. He pulled out when the guy to his right was turning, and if dash cam guy hadn't accelerated (when he really didn't need to, there was nothing to his right) then all would have been fine.
Isn't it amazing how brave people become from within the 'saftely' of their cars? It's seems like a lot of little me have dash cams to boost their confidence when trying to goad people into confrontation. I wonder how it would pan out if they were ever offered out of their cars by somebody they'd beeped their horn at??

I see this sort of thing a fair bit on my travels. One thing I can't understand is the assumption that other drivers should or will slow down as a result of someone creating a hazard. When I learned to drive I was always taught that causing other drivers to take action such as braking or swerving was an immediate fail on your test.

I'd be the first to agree that there are some piss poor drivers in the UK, but with a few exceptions this is the biggest compilation of non-events I've seen in a dashcam video.

We all get the wrong lane or miss a turn occasionally and have to pull a cheeky little move - it's the ones who do that and then go about 4mph while everyone else has to slam their brakes on that cause the problems - if they just put their foot down afterwards, there wouldn't be half the problems!

I remember about 5 yes ago almost everybody said it was illegal to undertake. Since I've started driving over 30yrs ago if lanes 3 plus were full I would undertake hoggers. It's clearly explained in the Highway Code yet some people just cannot and unfortunately never will grasp it.

it's give way to the right on a roundabout yes ...but if something joins from the left of you and they get over the white line before you do from there right then you have to give way to them on the left as you have to give way to anything already on the road ..read the highway code every now an then refresh yourselves

6:29 is Yeovil. A year ago, they had temporary priorities where left lane was left only. Yeovil drivers don't deal with such changes very well... and, when they started to adapt to that one, it was time for it to end! Still have people going into the right lane for straight ahead today.
