- Hey everyone! In this video, my friend and I made a tier list of some of the outfits from 2022s's Met Gala. I'm finally on summer break, so I'll be posting a lot more often now :)
Just a disclaimer, we are definitely not fashion experts, our rankings are just based on our own opinions, and whether or not the outfits matched the theme of the Met Gala. Please don't take this video too seriously! Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the video!

Well the theme was more of like the style as well, Billie’s was ON POINT. The theme was the era as well so Billie’s was great :)

I just want to say for Kylie Jenner she wore that dress because her friend that made it died and she wore it so that it would make in memory of her friend
I mean, there would've been many other opportunities to wear this dress, but this was the wrong time to wear it. It's not on theme, the style is very far off from the time period, and the cap is very questionable. I don't think the cap was necessary. Ruined her look.

And mirror covered gowns are sooooo heavy as well. I made one for my drag and its so heat and uncomfortable. The materials are so expensive as well. But then again mine had a hoop skirt.... it took me and my drag mom about 4 months to make so props to the designer 👏 I don't really care for Addison's silhouette but props to her again for wearing that heavy of the material covered with other heavy materials because girl it hurts Fashion's not comfortable and drag certainly is not comfortable but it's fun

This years Met Gala was so disappointing. I expected outfits like Billie's, Lizo's but instead there was outfits like Kim Kardashians and Kylie Jenners. Most of the people were so off theme.
I understand the sentimental value behind Kylie Jenners dress. It isn't bad, but it's not on theme and the cap is so unnecessary and it ruined the look. So incase people come at me for that, shut up. I know.
I love how Blake Lively got the inspiration for her dress from the architecture of that time period, it was such a creative way to portay "Gilded Glamour".
Billie was just so on theme. No negative opinions about her look.
Disappointing how, like it was stated in the video, people took the "Gilded" part quite literally and wore gold. There was so many options and looks for people to go to for but I don't think a lot of people really had a sense of this time period, that really failed them.

People defended the wedding dress kylie wore because it was made by the late virgil abloh and she wanted to honor him, which is valid. I just don't think kylie has the attitude to match the dress she wore, like she be putting the blandest face and basic ass poses with that quirky dress and the vibe just clashed
Kylie was paying a homage to the person. It was the last piece they made before passing away. Don’t hate on her,
I believe most people are hating on the cap, not the dress itself. To be fair, this dress was really off theme, but I can respect her for wearing this dress in honor of her friend, I just don't think the cap was necessary.
