- My guy really threw everything away for a hook up.
This video shows moments that predicted Ned's future. I transformed the original interview clips by adding on screen text commentary, sound effects, and visual effects. I tried to edit the interview so that they were different from the original and I also tried to make them funnier. The clips I used are heavily edited so that they are not just reuploaded versions of the original interview clips. I edited this video in iMovie and final cut pro and it took a long time to edit, I hope you guys enjoy the video!

From the get-go, it always icked me that he never shut up about having a wife. Meanwhile Keith calls Becky by name. Keith and Becky always felt way more genuine than this "idealistic" couple
Oh shut up already.....You never felt jack shit before this news came out.....If Keith had cheated you would just say the reverse....
I was just thinking about that during this compilation, I was like come on now all the regular viewers know Ariel, just say her name
Yeah Ned was clearly over-compensating.
I totally agree. I never thought that Ned was a good partner. I always disliked how he referred to Ariel as “my wife” it seemed too possessive and non affectionate
I struggled with his shtick too. My ex husband was "the wife guy" amongst his coworkers and social circle...he used to post all over social media this idyllic life we had. Behind closed doors he was abusive...he abused me in every way a person can be abused. He also cheated on me...CONSTANTLY!!!
I am NOT saying Ned abused his wife, but when you spend so much time making this "one thing" the only thing in your public life it feels icky. Especially to people who have seen the ugly side of that behavior. 🤷♀️
why is no one talking about how ned just had multiple people at his wedding that he hooked up with and ariel said "i probably did too" like she was trying to make him sound less worse. she's clearly used to making excuses for him :( i hope she decides to call it quits for real after this and all the support she's getting
Yeah, I thought the same
I have such a big family I wouldn’t even think about inviting any hookups or ex’s that does not even make sense
What the fuckkk, I didn't even know that about him
Whereas like... I'm absolutely inviting some of my exes to my wedding. We figured out that we don't work as a couple but we remained friends for years and years. That's, uh, totally what Ned meant, right?
@@cgunugc I'm inviting the exes I don't stay friends with too. Add a little bit of *_spice_*
Justice for John the lie detector guy
His marriage is evidently more successful than Ned's
Ariel and Will need to hire John again.
As fun as those videos can be, lie detectors are actually extremely inaccurate. He may have been right here but in general, John wouldn't be much more accurate in reading the truth than a psychic medium or a horoscope.
"I will kill you right here."
@@MatthewMS. the “Eugene he’s cool” made me legit cackle.
Someone who thinks marriage gets worse as they get older is a huge red flag. IMO they should get better, you learn more about each other, how to communicate, understand each other's love languages etc..
This. People think the best part of a relationship is the "honeymoon phase". While it tends to be new and exciting, it's impossible for the couple to be truly, fully comfortable with each other at that stage imo. Simply bc they still have to get to know each other
fr like i’m in a relationship and have been for 4 years and all of my relationships have been like that because we talk and do our best to make it work yknow? it’s not perfect by any means but if you truly love the person none of that matters
my mum thinks marriages get worse as the couple gets older. you can guess what her relationship with my father is like
Yea I don't know how he got to that conclusion.
What a slap in the face to the older dude too

"This salad feels like it cheats on it's wife" feels like a very direct punch in retrospect.
@@Cripplified lmao I agree it seems so pointed
@@Cripplified i love Zach's laugh like "oh fck Keith did not just say that oop" lol
From which video was it?
People within my social circle have met the guys at a Christmas party before (idk whether this was TG/Buzzfeed times), but they weren't surprised about the scandal. They said Ned would try to grind on other girls (like some redditors have mentioned) and all the staff were around to witness it. Maybe that was the extent they were aware of (the whole "idk what to do with my hands" is a fluke then) but clearly they knew about this earlier. IMO they were hoping to solve it internally/for it not to leak so they wouldn't have to completely rebrand themselves and lose a founding member. They mentioned before that Ned carried a lot of managerial weight.
I have a feeling Keith knew something all along and he hated that he couldn't do anything about it so he just kept being petty sometimes without any context but well now we have a context 😂 he just seems so done with Ned most of the time
SERIOUSLY! I've seen a few of these compilations now it's always Keith being a little extra shady lmao
It makes sense when thinking about how the group formed-not as friends but as the only dudes at Buzzfeed willing to put on ladies underwear. With all this unfurling as more sleazy behavior coming to light, I doubt they would have chosen him as the fourth try guy if they had the choice...especially if he was the finance guy and the OG HR person (big yikes)
It's always Keith bringing up Ned and cheating pretty close to each other. Something tells me he has an idea
Keith was sorted in Ravenclaw, and that makes sense. BUT he also gives off Slytherin vibes too lol
I’m inclined to agree
if you think about it, keith is this funny and admirable guy, zach is this quirky and fun guy, and eugene is this mysterious yet soft guy and then there's ned that just goes "my wife my wife my wife"
Eugene is actually the most sensitive and thoughtful of them all! I like how Keith said his relationship was more realistic - hint hint!
Ned is just a frat boy
Though Eugene acts tough and can come off brisk, I think he is the biggest empath out of the Try Guys. He's watched and experienced big betrayal in committed relationships and I FEEL for how much of an impact this is going to have on him, on all of them. Think about Becky and Maggie, they probably have so many questions about if any of them knew or even suspected. I hope they all are getting help (this goes for all other employees as well) and are able to be open and transparent to each other about a really tough situation. Otherwise for some it will just fester and cause so much distrust and issues continuing forward. I've been around a few very similar situations and it just compounds the issues when having to pick up the pieces after an office relationship or affair. Their situation is even more "sticky" since the spouse has ties to the company and a frequent presence in their content or side projects.
Yea Ned was always the least interesting tbh, though it seemed nice that he loved his wife so much....smh
Ned always seem fake/flat to me but I always figured he was an idea guy for skits.
the Instagram thing about acting cute seemed right when he said it like one only honest things he ever said.
i was glad john threatened him after he insulted his relationship his excuses was a light red flag for a relationship.
but i didn't think he cheat on his wife.
Just realizing how shady Keith was is also kinda amazing 😂
I’m pretty sure when Keith said “this is the type of salad that would cheat on its wife.” He was digging that jab at Ned. 6:33

I did not realize just how annoying Ned was until I watched this compilation video. I'm wishing Ariel and the kids all the best!

Really? I’ve always thought Ned was class A 100% cringe. Really obnoxious personality.
@@forrestrichard8133 He completely blew through my radar…which makes me wanna 🤮! Btw…there’s an elephant in the room that no one is acknowledging. If Ned and Alex were busted by her fiancé’ almost a year ago, the fiancé warned Ned to back off, and they still continued the affair…that means the affair is serious, and Ned’s prob gonna leave Ariel for Alex. They were doing everything they could to get caught, being so blatant out in public on multiple occasions…they wanted to get caught! So 😢 for Ariel and those adorable boys of theirs. They don’t deserve this.
Ned was my least favorite Try Guy. However, I think he was still funny and a great addition to the team. His incredibly wrong actions have not changed that. This was a compilation of his worst moments.
Granted, I’m not missing him at ALL. He did a bad thing and he deserves to be forgotten.
The scene where he made Keith feel stupid it so sad I've never seen it disappointed

In hindsight, the things Keith says seem so much sassier and shadier towards Ned lol
"Good answer, I didn't know what the answer was gonna be."
"I think our marriage is more realistic."
"You and Ariel are so cute together... is any of it just for show?"
"This is a salad that cheated on it's wife."
Edit: by the way, I'm not claiming Keith knew beforehand and was throwing shade because of that, I'm pointing out that after all of this has come to light to both the try guys and the internet, these comments seem more sassy/shady in retrospect.
The salad quote made my jaw drop- their faces say it all
Also "Ned loves bad ideas!"
Obviously they know more about their personal lives than what’s shared on the videos. I believe Keith has never been too close to Ned but Becky is close to Ariel. So Keith likely gets more behind the curtains stuff about the marriage itself. he can also see Ned act behind the Cameras and all the shady actions like being too flirty with fans or the behaviour in bars, etc.
He is also a quick thinker kind of comedian so when the opportunity arises he probably threw some extra punches.
Ned is human and humans make mistakes but Ned shouldn’t do what he did. Every action good and bad has consequences.
He did wrong. so he has to face the consequences. The rest of the try guys did the right thing because someone who cheats on someone can be a turn coat on other situations and would hurt The Try Guys even more.
I do love some good shade. And that is good shade.
Considering how long he's kept his wife as his entire personality I'm willing to wager this isn't his first affair. Just the one that happened to get caught :/
same. i think in every nervous ned episode he was prob cheating. im willing to wager that Keith knew at least considering how he started becoming passive aggressive to ned
@@jess3843 maybe not knew firmly but I agree he could’ve suspected it 😭😭
Apparently, Ariel caught them before and decided to give Ned another chance if he stayed away from Alex. Her Fiancé said the same thing. It wasn't full-on cheating, just too close for comfort.
Take this with a pinch of salt though, as I can't really remember where I heard it and it was probably some rando in the comment section.
Yeah the fact he keeps in contact with his multiple exes is suspicious enough

bro you can see how pissed Eugene, Zac and Keith on that math problem episode. Keith isn't even hiding it a bit.
Why on Earth would you invite people you've hooked up with to your wedding???
Right its so weird
My brother invited one of his exes to his wedding and it wasn’t weird. Sometimes you can have good platonic relationship after banging someone.
Well if he invited all his employees, then... (edited to add that a lot of buzzfeed on-screen talent of that era was hired by or managed by Ned....)

Idk cause they're friends??? You can be friends with someone you slept with once 7 years ago, lmao you're just banned from my wedding because we banged one time before I even met my current spouse? Cmon now.
Every segment that had cheating in it, Ned gave off very nervous awkward energy. And these clips are from different time periods. I just wonder how long he's been doing this and how many people it's been. If someone forces their "perfect" marriage in your face, it's not perfect.
I just read another comment claiming this affair started since last year
He’s admitted to dancing with a girl at a club he went to with friends whilst dating Ariel but told her about it, what he didn’t include is that apparently he tried to get this girl to grind on him whilst dancing and apparently he would go to a lot of clubs when out for work and would try to get multiple girls to grind on him, again I don’t know how true that is and idk if that’s just people trying to stir shit up even more but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was true, basically yes he has cheated on her before and she has still decided to stay with him even after he’s been cheating on her with Alex for supposedly over a YEAR
@@laneythelame but there were other women. Alot of ex Buzzfeed employees also said they weren't surprised.
@@starshaped._7478
But didn't Ariel just find out about Ned and Alex after the message leak? So it's not like she "stayed" it's that she just didn't know he cheated on her. About the past before that we don't know whether Ariel knew (if the accusations of Ned going to club getting other girls to grind him was true) or not or to her anything before marriage could be forgivable mistakes like he was just dancing. I don't know and we don't know for sure so it's wrong to blame her simply for standing beside him these whole times. This is Ned's fault so don't try to shift the attention to Ariel who's the innocent partner
good rule of thumb: if somebody has to push in your face how much of a good person they are, and how good their relationships are... they're probably a shitbag!

I think Keith knows what's up. The salad scene show me everything. It's like literally come out of nowhere. I love Keith cuz he's have the ability be shady,. sarcastic and funny at the same time.
If Keith knew what was up and still allowed that shit to go on, then he's no better than Ned. @@mef2theman and you don't think a fan wouldn't have leaked a photo with him being with a complete stranger romantically?? Are you kidding me?
i think there’s no reason to compare relationships. even then, ned’s behavior is SO juxtaposed to the other try guys’ relationships. the other try guys notoriously didn’t have publically announced S/O’s for the majority of their screen time, and even admitted their problems towards relationships OFTEN. i think the lack of self awareness in ned set him up for failure, because he often was so “perfect” that he wasn’t as nearly as relatable as the other try guys in general- not even just towards his marriage.
Fr the only other one who was kind of more public about it was Keith but it never felt like he was showing off his wife like trophy

Honestly, I think it's gross that he actually admitted that the cuteness between him and Ariel was just for show - especially because he made it his brand for views. So insincere, I realise now how he has always cared so much about image over substance. I do get that couples sometimes put on a show in front of their friends if they're having troubles and want to keep it private, but Ned put on such a BIG show in front of the world :(

He was basically just a place holder so they could have 4 people.
I'm hoping that Ariel gets out of her marriage with Ned, when this all happened and I first saw some old clips I was praying that Ariel and Ned don't just "talk" it out and stay together. They have two little kids to look after and Ned went and broke Ariels trust for how long? like since last year?
I really don't want to hear that they stayed together for the kids or something, as a kid in that situation, it was terrible. The house's energy was always wierd, my parents werent ever really like normal parents to each other and they were living together because of my and my sibling.
It's just something thats shit that has been happing for years now, if you ever need to think about divorcing your spouse and think "well it'll be better for the kids if I stay" DO NOT STAY!!! If your thinking about divorcing then do it! Don't put yourself in that situation to be in a shit marriage and dont put your kids in a house like that!!
Ariel and the kids deserve so much more!!
Also since this all started something feels off and fishy to me, like theres WAYYY more to the story especially with Alex
I always got confused about "staying together for the kids." Like, how is it good for your kids to be brought up in the same house by people who hate each other? (obviously variations on levels of dislike apply)
Kids pick up on so much more than people think! My parents stayed together "for the kids" until I was around 13 and when they told us (me and my siblings) they were getting divorced we were all like "jfc finally"
@@eleanormason2647 funny how ppl whose parents divorced believe in that mantra yet ppl whose parents never divorced but desperately needed to warn against the mantra lol
@@Anonymous-wi6ig what makes you think my parents got divorced or wanted to/ should have got divorced. I'm in neither of those groups but I believe that it's not a healthy environment to keep parents together who shouldn't be together, as it'll affect their parenting
@@eleanormason2647 wtf???? Read the comment i replied to. You were the one who said you never believed in the mantra and i am simply agreeing with you………
Damn, Ned is a jerk.
I think they've been tired of his shit for a long time and this cheating scandal was the final straw
I’ve watched Try Guys for years, how on earth did I not realize before how much of an annoying Frat Bro Ned is? His humor is the same as the kid who wants to get attention in class so he acts out and gets obnoxious
Anyone else notice Eugene's knowing face in nearly all these videos?
I think the boys knew for a while
5:40 "I dont need your explanation😡😂
Whenever I see the clip of Keith saying that his marriage is more realistic, it cracks me up. He really is the wife guy.
Concerning 5:10
There's also a video or podcast episode where ned constantly bashes against eugene bc eugene is talking about astrology. You notice how interested Zach, Keith and Miles are while Eugene talks but Ned is just like ignoring or bashing his "friend" for the thing he's interested in
At 6:39 the guy in the middle (completely forgot his name), his pinky points at Ned right after Keith says “this is a salad that cheats on its wife” lmao
That’s Zach
Love zach
"Marraiges tend to get not as good as you get older" the happiest couple/people I've known is my great grandparents. They were married for over 65 years before my great grandpa passed. They always said one of the most important things was to communicate with and learn from eachother. Also if you have an argument, separate long enough to calm down, but don't save it until the next day. Also if kids or family is around you take it to a another room.
Keith is an icon honestly
7:05 his reaction was like ‘wtf how does she know’ lmao
if he invited people he hooked up with OMG THATS A NOOOOOO
Ned always did feel like an outsider in their group. They worked hard to keep him a cohesive part. This makes sense considering he was in a very high position and things surrounding that are sticky, but ever since the first video I watched back when they were IN Buzzfeed Ned has always felt like the outlier and that they didn’t hate him but they were closer with each other than him. He’s never quite fit and had to lean hard into a persona to make it fit, where the others don’t need to try so hard because those 3 just click. He never really felt like a friend like Zach Keith and Eugene do. I guess this was just inevitable.
Ned never stopped being a frat boy apparently. I always saw that when they'd do drinking videos, always made me uncomfortable
It’s crazy how he even tried to invite his exes to their wedding!! My heart breaks for Ariel and her kids 🥺
Keith looked absolutely finished with Ned when he shoved the answer to the math equation on everyone.
3:34 that bounce looks like a kid who knows he did something wrong, like “I did the thing and they don’t know hah”
I always got the feeling that Ned was the odd one out in the friend group, he didn't seem very close with any of the other guys. While zach and Eungene both seem pretty close to Keith. But also I really hope the other try guys didn't know he was cheating this whole time.
Not sure if you knew at the time of making this video, but Second Try is actually a Try Guys channel, meaning Ned oversaw and approved of the upload for the compilation to further boost his image of a loving husband 😅
I’m pretty sure there was a study done on social media and relationship correlation. The study had said that the more someone posts about, show, or talks about their significant other, the more likely it is for the relationship to fall apart. Has something to do with the fact that the people who end up ruining the relationship try so hard to show everyone on social media “see this is perfect for me, everyone should be jealous of what I have,” when in reality they are trying to convince themselves of the same thing by posting ab them nonstop. Really interesting stuff to watch it happen real time with Ned.
Petition to call the Try Guys, The Tri guys, cause there's only 3 now
I thought Ned's Wife Guy bit was overplayed, but at the same time, Eugene never stops talking about being sad and gay, and I don't doubt he is those things. Still, let this be a lesson not to define your entire public persona on your relationship to another person. One way or another, it's just too statistically likely for that to go very wrong at some point. And then, not only is your relationship over, but your friendships, brand, income, and public perception are all destabilized at the same time. I actually think this might be one of the only true "cancellations" to ever succeed. My guess is Ned's entire career as a public figure / outward-facing content creator is over, with no chance of recovery.
Atleast sadness and being gay is part of who you are, being a wife guy is what?
@@safeeyab6291 good point
@@safeeyab6291 I sort of assumed it was a sign he just didn't have much of a personality, but that he might still actually care about his wife. Bummer it turned out he was way worse than just a boring dweeb.
@@safeeyab6291 Being a good husband is a great personality trait, if he was one. But he wasn't, instead of just saying he was a wife guy he should have given stories or showed how good of a husband he was. Keith always has a story about the things he and becky have done. Being a wife guy is just as much as a spot light/attention grabber as saying your gay. That's the whole point. Keith loves food, what is that? that's not a personality trait, but they created almost a brand out of it. People find something interesting about themselves and turn it up 100 notches for the internet. They had to think about their target audience. I don't think Ned's general interests or personality would have been enough to keep him interesting, but guess what people love shipping and love internet couples so why not use it to their advantage. There would have been nothing wrong with that, some people even ate it up like pizza.
also I think Eugene speaking abt being sad and gay is different than Ned's wife guy bit. Eugene grew up being unable to express himself, especially his sexuality, so him being able to talk and joke abt it now is probably v liberating for him. he's also notoriously closed off, so him talking abt emotions and stuff is good! he's getting more comfortable expressing himself without fear of repercussions. it also indicates him becoming more comfortable not just with the audience, but his fellow try guys as well.
meanwhile ned was constantly mentioning his wife, but was v one dimensional abt the whole thing. he always gave v general/vague compliments to her when he referenced her, and never had anything particularly significant to say abt her.
sure the other try guys play up certain interests and character traits for the bit; that's just how being an internet personality is. but you could always tell there was nuance behind it, and they weren't afraid to be candid abt their true feelings on the situation. meanwhile ned was one dimensional, always trying to be the perfect wife guy but barely anything else. oh also his other personality trait is "I graduated from Yale" lmao
Ned was that one frat guy who hangs out with the lil nerdy boys to put them down so he can feel better about himself
I’ve watched a few of these (maybe out of grief and shock and want answers as a fan 😂) but listen your editing was the best. This was so good 😂👌🏻
The 'worlds worst boss' mug is even funnier now
ALEX LEANING BACK IN THE END THOUGH WHAT A GUILTY LOOK 💔
Ned always gave me creepy "Nice Guy" vibes,
I saw a video of someone who used to work with Ned saying that if a person makes one thing their whole personality, it's usually to compensate for that. It makes so much sense.
6:43 did he just try and cool down his salad
we all keep forgetting that ned was in a frat in college, like this kinda makes sense
This elf was in a frat?
1:40 what a red flag RIGHT before your wedding damn
Jon knew what's up. He's a body language expert XD he knew from the get go Ned was sus
woof that video section at 4:58 is so uncomfortable you can tell everyone in the room is so done with him it makes it hard to watch.
"it's not a mistake it's a choice" lmaoooo
6:35 oh my goodness😮 that says it all
The way keith and zach are giggling afterward too omg they know
3:48 look at Zach and Eugene’s faces after Ned says “team marriage”!
The way I forgot about his existence in the try guys but remembered all the others is really reveling
When ned says that some of it’s for show, Eugiene looks over like “i told u”😂😂
Totally forgot about Ned straight-up disrespecting Keith in the math video 🙃 He wanted to show off so bad how much smarter he was, like a kid in grade school. It seemed like a minor moment of immaturity but it didn't sit right tbh. Speaks of his character even outside of the my-wiiiife context.
Because he's a narcissistic which means being stuck at the maturity level of a kid, showing off is everything.
