Tbh, I won't be surprised if he was hurt the most. Yes he looked angry to the point of looking like he wanted to fight, but with a lot of Asian men I find that they hold onto their sadness much deeper but their anger from their hurt is worn right on their sleeves. At least that's my experience with all my male family members. My boyfriend also gets extremely upset when he's really hurt.

John is the best judge of character. He had a disdain for Ned since the first video and rightfully so.
The biggest issue with polygraphs is that measuring blood, sweat, and breathing doesn’t actually show a lie. If a person is uncomfortable or nervous it skews the results. There’s a reason polygraphs aren’t admissible in a court of law, it’s because they aren’t reliable, even if there’s an expert.
Proof of this is when Ned straight up says he’s not lying and you can tell he’s upset.
Yeah, is hard because we all love the tale of polygraphs, but I already researched a lot on it and in John itself and it looks like he had a lot of trouble in the law for fraud. Anyway, besides admiting that in some TV shows there are "answers" provide for him to give, he has specializing on in for 30 years or so, he knows some shit and in more truthful shows he can balance on the true or false, detecting feelings like "incert" or just increasing sweat, but not heart rate, etc
There have also been some criminals in the past who have gotten away with stuff because they knew how to fake out the polygraph. It is fun to watch, but it can be important to remember its not reliable
Besides that, this is not really how the test is performed in formal settings. They typically set a baseline by asking you simple things like the date and they are usually yes or no only questions. You also aren't allowed to move because it can skew the test.
Yup, if you believe your own lie enough, you can beat a polygraph.

I don't think Eugene has a very high self esteem and he often mentions low self worth and not believing people genuinely caring for him so the growth is that he can emotionally accept that his friends really do care about him and that he is good enough for them to care about him.
