Looks like great equipment especially in the hot weather. Nothing worse than trying to sleep while you're all gross and sweaty.

Do any of these have like a smart inverter like mideas ACs. Converts AC to DC within their units with thier models with the smart inverter. I'm hoping midea makes an AC with their smarter inverter for this type of market.

These units do not. Most folks I know run a powerstation that have a built in inverter. When I power these off my lithium batteries in my van or camper, I normally use my 2000 watt inverter.

@GumbieGear yep but it's using AC power (3 prong) from power station. On certain models, midea using a standard AC 3 prong plug that converts AC to DC, making it substantially more efficient. The only one of these overlanding/camping air-conditioners that can run DC power is the ecoflow wave/wave 2 but it's a proprietary hard connection and for the delta series.

I believe ZeroBreeze just came up with a 12 volt converter and they are soecific to brands of Powerstations. I need to pick one up and use my DC power. If I get one I’ll let you know!

Should’ve included the Ecoflow Wave 2 in this review.

I really wanted to but I could not get my hands on one. Maybe in the future when ZeroBreeze comes out with the MK3 and if EcoFlow wants to send me one! Thank you for watching bud!

Rule of Thumb: if you require a/c you're in the wrong location.
