I've been collecting the NECA Gargoyles and I absolutely love them. It's awesome how they breathe new life to old licenses

NECA is probably the best company making toys right now. Even with the price hikes, I still think they’re so good for the price. The Planet of the Apes line was also soooo good. It’s sad they stopped doing them because they didn’t sell well. Randy mentioned it was his favorite line to do and was sad when they decided to stop.
Yeah, you can't produce toys if the fans aren't buying them.
Someone tell Tony from Hack the Movies that he can return his McCready and get another one somewhere. They are still being sold. Hard to find here in the Philly area but are peg warmers down south

Great episode! Love NECA stuff! Man, those clothed Mego-style figures are great…initially, I was like “nah…” and then I picked up the Snake Plissken and the floodgates opened for me. 😅

Oh, yeah, I love NECA figures! I'm a huge collector of them. I have stuff from Alien, Predator, The Terminator, Gremlins, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Godzilla, TMNT the Movie, Robocop, and the Universal Monsters.
So many good licences!
From Predator I have Jungle Patrol Dutch and Jungle Disguise Dutch. From The Terminator I have Tech Noir and Shootout T-800. TMNT The Movie I have all four turtles, two foot soldiers and Shredder. Do you collect NECA 1/4 Scales?

This is one of my favorite episodes. I own a bunch of NECA figures. They've surpassed McFarland in my opinion. Seeing Tony show off his MacReady figure made me order one. Haha!

Maybe be more specific about NECA surpassing McFarlane in terms of licenses and sculpts next time. Only thing why I haven't bought any NECA figure for years is their inconsistent QC. Half of the toys from NECA that I have broke even from careful posing alone. On Todd's side, DC Multiverse is doing great, surprisingly.

When joe mentioned the lost boys cult classics i died a little on the inside. Because i had the david figure and somehow it fell on the floor and a dog got to is and chewed his foot off.

I originally wasn't going to bother with the TMNT2 figures since I didn't like the look of the original Super Shredder but the Shadow Master version looked so amazing I had to have it!

Super 7 has put out some fanfuckingtastic stuff, such as the cartoon Hordak, which was nearly impossible to get unless you could hack into their site when it initially went up for preorder for1.00999.0009875444 .009896 seconds. And thank the Christ that Mattel is doing a version in the revelation line,but that was then. And I mostly think of them as way off base, like ramen toys that wants a 100$ for something that is going to ruin their reputation in this nearly apocalyptic world. 😝👍
In memory of the good old days back in the late 90s when you could buy Mcfarlane figures over the counter. No preorder launches, no scalpers, no hype.
I also saw the live TMNT show as a kid…wore my Tmnt green jumpsuit….thought I was so cool, lol

Hopefully Tony returned that Kurt Russell figure with the missing shot gun. Great figures, but the flame thrower one broke on me, twice. I just superglued the second one.

It's the TMNT movie and Back to the Future line of NECA figures for me :)
I got both emissary preds in a lot from Facebook marketplace, they were unopened but the front of the boxes were cut off because the seller tacked all his figures on his wall to display. They were in the lot as an afterthought but ended up being my favorites

I love NECA. I don't like the cloth ones as much, but I have a bunch of their horror and most of the non-American Godzillas (I don't care about CGI-based kaiju). I don't knock myself out trying to get everything I want, though. I get what I can in store, at cons, or pre-order on BBTS.

Just got into neca figures in December 2020. I had about 90% of all the tmnt figures until I decided to focus Mainly on the toon line. Kept my movie turtles but sold everything else from both movies. Neca is married to my wallet.
Part 3 is my favorite movie as well. I hope they do the Shogun Honorgaurd Turtles from the 3rd movie.
It will be interesting to see if they do them, but I kind of think chances are good

Neca is dangerous, a wise person picks their genre and puts blinders on when other new releases come out. I collect everything horror from Neca but man when they release all of these amazing TMNT figures it's difficult to not want to grab those as well but I'd be completely broke if I bought everything I liked from Neca.
Yeah, it's hard to decide what to buy. Only so much money in the toy budget.
Yeah that neca Mrs. Voorhees is worth a lot now I bought mine a few years ago she was $200 mint on card. And that reanimator figure is really nice I just watched that movie for the first time last night.

You know what musical really doesn't look right with close-up shots? Cats.
I used to collect NECA’s Nightmare Before Christmas line and I swear to god every single figure broke just by me trying to pose them on my shelf.
I had few of them, but kept them carded.
Luckily I havent had figures break but a few weapons and accessories have broken on me.
When I finally came acrossed a NECA Puppet Master figure I was like awesome and when I pulled the flap back to look at it I was highly disappointed and I actually laughed at the size of the figure. I was expecting it to be at least six inches.
I would love to see NECA make G1 Transformers that actually transform! I wonder what they would look like?
I doubt they employ the type of engineers needed for that.

@@nicholasrossano7340 When I start to lose interest I stop buying and just let them sit. One time I went 5 years without buying any. It always comes back around again and I don’t want to regret not having them anymore.

NECA makes great figures but, sometimes, the playability is questionable.

Never buy NECA figures straight from China, either on sites like Aliexpress or Ebay. Those are guaranteed to be bootleg toys. *(Sadly talking from experience.)*
Some of them are not bad. The Mirage turtles are pretty legit bootlegs.

Glad I found your channel recently. I have been watching your older stuff. You do a great job with whoever you have sitting in with you except the guy Kieran. I don’t know if you two just lack chemistry or his lack of a personality is the reason but it didn’t work. I know he’s a successful podcaster but a terrible guest. Keep creating great content. Thanks.
