The military wasn't really my thing. But my dad proudly served this country in the Marine Corps in Vietnam. He's no longer with us, but I carry on his name and his legacy of service now as a police officer. God bless 🇺🇸
I enlisted in the usmc some 43 years ago when I graduated from high school and it was the best decision I’ve ever made no regrets at all I enjoyed the marine corps immensely and I say respectfully Semper fi carry on
As a proud US army veteran, I like this USMC commercial especially at 0:32 of the video showing a Marine feeding a young hungry girl in a poor country which reminds me a lot of myself over the last year and a half where I've been feeding a elderly homeless lady living in a homeless encampment. I take a lot of pride in my selfless service for that homeless lady as it's my way of "being all that I can be".
I respect our Marines to the highest. There are none like you. I am proud of you, and proud to be an American. God bless you all and keep you safe. God bless America.
If there is one thing you can do right in your life it is to stand up for your country. To fight for your country is the ultimate pride you can have in your life. Take it from a man who has done such and follow me to support our glorious way of life, the United States of America!
if you fail you get held back like a school year, only it would be a phase . and if you quite your done no second chance bro . once a quitter always a quitter , marines and my brothers would know you if you quit bro . plz stay motivated and always keep your eye at the end of the tunnel because there is still a glimpe of light on the other side . most cant see the light brother
Good luck my young friends. This is the time in your life that makes you like us the few the proud the marines, or like the everyone else i dont know i dont care i dont have, EYES OPEN EARS OPEN MOUTH SHUT.
OKAY.... for one never say " if I fail" never think negative...always believe in your self, if you believe in yourself, you will be able to earn the title! no matter what is in your way!

Marines did not participate on the beaches of Normandy, they fought in the Pacific. I joined the Marines in 1968, got to Vietnam in 1969 in a Recon Battalion. Did 32 years in the military so military history is something I am well versed in. Great question though, knowledge is power and power is the knowledge that one does not know everything.
That was the army of the US , UK, Canada, Australia, France, and about half a dozen other countries. The Pacific was almost entirely a US fight , with the Marines doing almost all of heavy lifting.
Coke Meat I don't care if the Marines are better than the Army. They're fight with each other, They're comrades. Don't think that a faction is better than the other.

All in the history books unfortunately. The Marines have gone woke. They're done. There was a time I would have cut my arm off after an enlistment just to become a Marine (I'm not American) but now I wouldn't do it for a million dollar sign up bonus.
This is one of my favorite USMC commercials of all time. Actually, this IS my favorite. Proud son of a WWII Peleliu Veteran.
Errah!
I am 68 and it still brings tears to my eyes. Semper Fi Devildogs.

As a proud US army veteran, I like this USMC commercial especially at 0:32 of the video showing a Marine feeding a young hungry girl in a poor country which reminds me a lot of myself over the last year and a half where I've been feeding a elderly homeless lady living in a homeless encampment. Yut!
Were those Marines who strormed the beaches of Normandy? Someone told me they only fought in the Pacific
Nope, that was the army.

As a marine corps combat veteran I can easily speak for the many of us out here regarding your comment, you are a fucking idiot.
Do they really think they free countries? LoL
The lords few❤
