- Things have been evolving at The Shmuseum, but what actually happened to "barn 2"? It's a day of supercar errands looking after the garage ahead of the trip to the USA, where transport for my Zenvo TSR-S hasn't entirely gone to plan... Let's explain why we no longer have the second space!
In theory, today's video should have been coming to you from the United States of America, having last week dispatched my Zenvo TSR-S to California ahead of Monterey Car Week. However, travel plans haven't exactly gone as intended, and with the car being delayed by the best part of a week, I've since pushed back my own plans to catch up on some work at this end beforehand.
By far the most frequently asked question on videos in recent times is about what happened to "Barn 2", the back half of The Shmuseum. It's been mentioned a fair few times on videos to date but finally to clarify it for one and all, I no longer have access to the space, it is used by another operation, and I have set up the main area that you see as my entire plan for the near future given the ample space available.
During the day we have a few cars to get out for a quick run ahead of the trip to the US including the Shelby GT500, Lamborghini Huracan STO, Aston Martin Vantage GT8 and Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster too.

I miss it as well. I think it got too hard to manage 2 channels.
I'm still massively anticipating that US tour, it's going to be one of the highlights of your channel for sure Tim. Can't wait, also that clock is ticking until eh new Zenvo aurora is being revealed which given the forecast you've set for it should be incredible too.

US is more exciting then the UK.
Apparently the problem with the planes was the Zenvo produces so much down force the plane couldn't take off with it on board.
Strangely this type of video is my favourite, keep doing them because it's such a release to hear the answers to the questions in our heads that pop up after watching the regular shmee150 videos. cheeeeers!

Great to see you drive all the cars in finally good weather. It made sense to get rid of the second space financially. Have a great time in the US
It would be great that when you go out with a car, your cameraman gets off somewhere and records you from the outside as you pass by quickly. It would add a lot to those video segments in my opinion.

I learned to drive in a left hand drive and a right hand drive (in the UK). It amazing how quickly you get used to it and become an ambidextrous driver!

The engine shutting off when you open the hood is a remote start safety feature. Its so the engine cannot be remotely started while someone could be working under the hood. It can still be started from inside the car when the hood is open.

Has Tim done any content with Lucid? Just been watching some vids about the new Lucid Saphire, and it looks pretty mental, would be great to see Tim's point of view and a drive in it, especially with the 0-60 of 1.8 seconds even if the price is pretty insane.

You should put hooks up behind the stackers so you can loop the charging cables and hang them up when they’re not being used.
Have to be careful with that though or you might catch your shoulder on them when walking back there from unit to unit.
@@Trueflightsyeah I thought about that but if you mount them at the same level as the plugs and boxes for the lifts that wouldn’t be a problem.

I wonder for collections like yours with a wall of their lifts if it’s possible for them to setup a central control panel so you don’t have to walk behind them to drop each one. A little quality of life feature they could offer at some point as well as integrated outlets so you wouldn’t have to have cords draping down the back for chargers.

@@bg22757let's be honest the tvr Griffith was never gonna happen they set too many expectations for it to be an actual production car
Small thing when charging the 1M with the CTEK, pretty certain its preferable to use the engine bay charge points than connecting straight to the battery as I don't think its good for the cars electrics hence the seperate charge points.

Hi! So did you own barn 2 and sell it? Will you have the opportunity to revisit this decision in the future and occupy that area if needed?
I was thinking about Barn 2 and the split level issue - couldn't you go with a lift solution similar to how they get the cars upstairs at Topaz rather than any sort of ramp?
Finally got to the Barn 2 talk, fair enough, but if you do take it on in future, there's an idea at least :D

How come the silver renault never gets modified nor driven?
I took my car to Iceland and Faroes from uk, quite common so no odd looks except from tour bus occupants wondering how i got it there. North Norway and Lofoten Islands.....definitely very few cars with uk plates.

The bit with the mustang cutting the engine is really weird. If you are having engine problems and need it running to check things out, hope you can restart it with the hood up.
I would probably disconnect that however if it was my car.
TL;DR: It was too expensive and they already have plenty of space so they sold barn 2.
Must be an easy fix on the cigarette socket, presume it is switched live which is why it won't work. Just connect the live direct to the battery.
I would describe the STO experience as Visceral. Lol
Re the left door mirror on the mustang. Couldn’t you fit the mirror glass from a uk car?
You can't actually, the mirror casings are smaller for US cars

Tim I am sure an auto electrician or Brad could figure out an easier charge point for your Lambo. I would also think about getting some dropdown sockets rather than having extension leads all over the floor that will have Elf & Safety putting condemned stickers all over the Ex-Shed. (Mancave).
