South to north and west to east I5 I90... I blew up a car before I finally suceeded cuz if I cant average 110 across US why not much faster across my entire state?

At 4:45 that was my friend and me who were visiting New York during the spring, it was my first time in NY and I'm a huge fan of the Cannonball and just had to take a few photos of the RedBall because as you said "it's the church of speed" and then I saw you guys with the antennas and I knew what was up, I never posted the pictures anywhere, in fact, I have them on my phone which is right next to me, and when I clicked on the video, never could I have imagined I would be mentioned in a video on VINwiki, what a small world I'm shocked, for reference the time I took the photo was 11:23

The trooper hitting his lights but not coming after you is actually fairly common. At least for bikes. Happens all the time with state, county *and* municipal cops. We always figured it

Had a wonderful old racer tell us about their run in 1972 at our MG Car Club meeting. He's in his late 80s now, but could still bring up details of the trip, names, dates, speeds, like he was a kid. 3 guys in a Monte Carlo, modified with second tank, better shocks, longer gears, etc. Broke down, unfortunately. Hell of a story.

The diesel record is going to be a tough one. Only car that could reasonably do better than the Passat would be an A6 3.0TDI. The top speed and fuel efficiency just isn't there on the 2.0TDI cars when you try to go flat out.

I work for the Colorado Department of Transportation in Glenwood Springs. I was working traffic control for the big fire in 2020, and we had the road closed for a little over one month.... lol of I would've known about your attempt. I could've escorted you through and told them that it was a life or death emergency. You'd be surprised how much e do that during major road closers. And yes, the detour that e have to send people on absolutely sucks to drive. Sorry for that guys...... you can thank the jackass that tossed his cigarette out the window.

68hrs.. that's about what I drive every week. The trick with Chicago traffic is to set GPS for avoid tolls. It takes you through traffic on the interstate but bypasses most of it. It looks slower because you'll be driving through stoplights, but at least your doing around 45 instead of stop and go.
