Nope, it is because average player doesn't pay attention to detalisation, but an overall picture, for example how many gamers finishing rift apart on CZcams or ps 5 noticed the detalisation of broken boxes and other environment or how many elements or particles can be shown without deleting them not to put big pressure on the system, I'm sure not too many, the problem of average gamers is they want a beautiful picture but don't care or don't understand why we need detalisation and particles, the worst thing is it is misunderstood by gamers who played on inferior systems and know how much detalisation destroyed or limited the true potential of games

Nintendo has gotten by just fine on graphics that get the job done but with gameplay being more important, the switch 2 will definetly be an upgrade but their still going to put gameplay first and that's how it should be. And really all they need is a ps4 level type of console at least, I'm expecting more of a Ps4.5 kind of thing but point is the Ps5 isn't that big a leap from the ps4. So companies won't have a hard time scaling down a bit to get their games on the Switch 2. Hell they already did this when the ps5 first launched.

The fact Nintendo intends to release a new console with last gen specs (PS4 XB1) is a bit of a problem. I don't think it will command the large 3rd party base that the Switch had. The Switch ran some 3rd party games much worse than Sony & Microsoft. If this is true, I believe it will have the 3rd party support (or lack of) the WiiU had.
If the leaks are true, it won’t be “significantly more powerful”. Just another minor upgrade. The PS4 and Xbox One are consoles that released a few years before the Switch! And The PS4 Pro released shortly before the Switch. I love Nintendo’s games, but I am not sure how anyone would think that is enough power for a console releasing in 2025. That is truly mind boggling to me. It’s ridiculous that Nintendo doesn’t have a 4K console as we speak. The fact Nintendo intends to release a new console with last gen specs (PS4 XB1) is a bit of a problem. I don't think it will command the large 3rd party base that the Switch had.
The Switch ran some 3rd party games much worse than Sony & Microsoft. If this is true, I believe it will have the 3rd party support (or lack of) the WiiU had.
If the leaks are true, it won’t be “significantly more powerful”. Just another minor upgrade. The PS4 and Xbox One are consoles that released a few years before the Switch! And The PS4 Pro released shortly before the Switch.
I love Nintendo’s games, but I am not sure how anyone would think that is enough power for a console releasing in 2025. That is truly mind boggling to me. It’s ridiculous that Nintendo doesn’t have a 4K console as we speak. Although I love Nintendo’s games, the reveal of the Switch in 2016 was the most disappointing console reveal of my lifetime. It looks like the Switch 2 will be another disappointment.
