i wish Neil Ross would read every audiobook.. he has the best voice.
Especially any audio books based on Mass Effect
I swear im hearing his voice on this online course for my food handlers card.
garrues s voice is so familiar
Christopher Lee had the best voice, Keith David's voice is amazing in Mass Effect as is Lance Henriksen's. I wish more devs would use Tom Baker - he's a sci-fi icon and his voice is glorious.
I liked him a lot in the magnificent 7 that 90s western show.
Seth green looks exactly like joker
Sometimes game devs make characters look like their voice actors.
Also lol Iâm replying to a 6-year-old comment đ
Same with Chakwas
I simply love Tali's accent :3
me too and i love how she pronounce shepard
It changed a lot between games. At first I didn't like the ME1 version because there was no logic or consistency to the mix of American and Eastern European sounds. That's still true but now I think it works as a teenage version of her later voice.
@@Robert399 I remember reading that Liz Sroka (Taliâs actress) was given a bit of freedom to make an accent, and she chose to affect an ambiguous Eastern-European accent, with elements of Russian, Polish, and a hint of American like you said
Fred Tatasciore absolutely killed it as Saren. Probably one of my favorite performances in video games.
there is a voice actor named Alistair Duncan
and he does not voice act in Dragon Age
shame
serious potential
Actually, Blackwall is voice by an Alastair Duncan. Just not this one.
@@MandalorianRevan ya make it seem alistair Duncan is a common name in general much less in the voice actor department
Keith David is just đ
That awkward moment when you realize Sovereign has been stalking your Warden and popping up to sell shit every time you try to travel somewhere.
Does anyone feel mesmerized over Garrus VA
Tali's actress is cute.
She certainly is
I used to think Saren was voiced by Jeremy Irons.
The Mass Effect trilogy has some of the best voice acting in gaming, and damn Marina Sirtis... time was not very good to you but whatever you'll always be councilor Troi in my book ;)
Me too.... I think Jeremy Irons would have been terrifying! Fred Tatasciore did a great job though
The same guy also voiced the Turian who was the warden of the prison ship where you find Jack
You guys kind close but not close enough not Jeremy irons voice at all it Fred tatasciore voice saren arterius well Jeremy irons done only movie and tv show not video games but he voice of scar in loin king one
Sirtis was an immersion-breakingly awful choice for Benezia. And a poor performance, too.
the codex voice actor has the best voice ;D
I actually met the codex last june
I met him last week, lol. Nice guy.
Ben Affleck's Batman sounds like Sovereign
lol right
I've loved lance Henriksen ever since ALIENS. He was also good in the tv series, Millennium. He's good in anything - would like to see him in more movies and tv, but it's good to hear that great voice of his.
Same here. Guy is great. Shame Millenium wasnt ended properly and ended after 3 seasons.
Fl0yt
You make a good point about the way Millenium messed up. They could have done so much better by the characters and the actors.
Characters and actors was good. Just afrer hype for X-Files people wasnt tempted to see something similar in style from same autors.
Steven Barr's Krogran voice rocks!
Wrex: Shepard.
Shepard: Wrex.
Grunt: Shepard
Wrex: Shepard!
Shepard: Grunt? Wrex?
this came into my head as soon as he started talking
2:00 AH YES, REAPERS
OH SHIT, REAPERS
The immortal race of sentient starships allegedly waiting in dark space. We have dismissed that claim.
excellent choice for Sovereign's line, that's like one of the most powerful lines I've ever heard
I just started playing the first Mass Effect today on my PS3 & I immediately recognized Seth Green's voice when I heard it (always wanted to meet him in person)
+BlueTarantulaProductions It is a great series extremely well done all 3 games were
Scotty from austin powers :) i was so happy when i heard his voice in Mass Effect, austin powers is my childhood...
Always loved the Neil Ross voice for Codex, what a well chosen clear voice for all this info about the mass effect world and technological stuff, different species etc etc. Ali Hillis as Liara was very fitting as well, somehow Liara became strangely attractive because of that voice lol! But all voice acters were really well chosen and did a fantastic job. I think they must have had a lot of fun as well, what a blast that must have been. Mass Effect is a classic for sure, awesome game, rediculously awesome story, from the high tech info till the emotional roller coaster, to all the different choices and playthroughs you can make. Superb work of art imho. Big thank you for all the people involved in this creation..! đ
Awesome. Simply awesome. I always found these for ME2 and ME3, but this ... seeing the guy voicing Vigil sent shivers down my spine.
I can see that girl under tali's helmetâŠ
It was revealed in Mass Effect 3, though only through a photo of the character in-game.
ecept if you romance her then she take of her helmet in mass effect 3 on rennoch
I wish that they'd have used a stock photo of Ash Soroka for the picture of Tali's picture that she leaves on the nightstand in Shepard's cabin on the Normandy in Mass Effect 3 if Sheppard had romanced Tali
@@MajorKirrahe problem is that the photo of Tali in the 3rd game was not that of Ash Soroka, but a former Miss UK
To be honest I still say they should have just used something based on the old Mass effect 1 concept art many people (including allegedly some members of BioWare's own dev team) still consider the Mass effect 1 concept art to be Tali's canon appearance.
By far the best of the series. Just can't compete with the classic first.
you forgot nihlus
SciFi Gamer and avina
and Jenkins
Anyone else want Wrexs voice that would make me feel like a complete bad ass.
Great, never seen this one for the first part before. Like those presentations.
Holy shit I never knew Lance Henriksen did voice work in one of if not my favorite trilogy
Well, no wonder Matriarch Benezia sounded like Counselor Troy!! Same actress!
There's been at least 5 different actors who voiced characters in Mass Effect:
Marina Sirtis
Raphael Sbarge
Armin Shimerman
Carolyn Seymour
And
Micheal Dorn
Imagine waking up in the morning when your boyfriend has Sovereign voice and he is sayin "Hello my love" and you just finnished last night ME1 đ
All the cast should make a movie reacting their favourite scenes from the game
Alistar DUncan...its your fault I keep hanging up on the council.
To me, Garrus sounds and behaves and moves like Garak from Deep Space Nine.
We love you Tali Zora
This is amazing
Great upload.
Only the best voice actors in mass effect!
You forgot Presley.
Hackett is John Shepard from mw2
Oh hell nah i knew it
Keith David
Ashley looked so much better in the first game, I hated her in 3. I told her to fuck off, I don't want you on the Normandy haha. The one and only thing that pissed me off about the first game is that Saren looked half-geth, yet no one ever said anything about it to him. He suddenly has tubes and wires sticking out of him and those synthetic eyes, and no one fucking notices??
Best voice acting.
Lol Alistair Duncan two characters in Dragon Age video game
Liz Sroka who voices Tali, I see her as the Quarian version of Willow Rosenberg, both girls are wicked smart, brainy, kind and very, very sweet, techies and both described as bookworm-ish, once they set off with the info, well. But you adore them both just the same anyway. Tali and Liz/Ash are truly adorable I think, but, Tali is just the cutest little thing around, you just want to put an arm around her and give her a big hug 'cos of how lovable she is, the most perfect best friend forever anyone could ever have.
+Gabriel Edward John D'Argo Sun-Smith yeah Tali is sweet in that wa yand I like her too. I also get that vibe efrom Liara as well that's another reason why I like her too.
***** indeed as she proved at the end of Season 6 I think
:0 Anderson and Julius have the same voice actors :0
Admiral Hackett Is The Optimus Prime Of Mass Effect, His Voice Tho
And Goliath!
"And now, high above Manhattan......the spell is broken.....
AND WE LIVE AGAIN!!!!!!"
Vocalists everywhere!
Armin Shimerman... That one totally slipped by me! Cool.
I grew up watching Star Trek next Generation I knew her voice sounded so familiar Miss counselor Troiđ
awesome K! there isnt a voice i dont love in this trilogy!
One omission is Martin Sheen as the Elusive man. Unless this is specific to ME1.
The actors made the story, and the story made the game, imo.
It's specific to Mass Effect 1
It's specific to ME1 TIM doesn't appear in ME1. He makes his first appearance in the opening scene of ME2
OMFG ANDREW RYAN is Salarian!!!!
I'm in love with Tali. Now I'm in love with Liz Sroka too. :')
Yes I suspected as much, it is Tali's voice actresses pictrue she gives to shepard in the mass effect 3 if you romance her.
Fred Tatasciore did a great job as Saren.
I swear ive heard sarens va in hella stuff one of em was nikolai from cod zombies âvodkaâ
I wish my life was narrated by Peter Jessop.
Armin shimerman play quark form Star Trek deep space nine was awesome and great voice in video games and tv show also awesome and best movie actor too
Armin Shimerman is the voice for Councilor Valern??
I had wondered why he sounded like Quark from Star Trek:DS9
Neil Ross is the real MVP
Councilor Valern - Andrew Ryan!
Doesn't Neil Ross also do the UAC video voice from Doom 3?
Soveregin is The Best reaper!
Keith David I was wondering who captain Anderson was voiced by cause the same dude did Sargent folley in modern warfare 2
Where in the world the game says the turian councilor's name? Or I just missed something in the codex?
+jerkopatrik j at the beginning of mass effect 3, when you talk to Udina after meeting the council
I always thought Valren was an old woman/salarian lmao
Valen and shierman are phisically the same xD
Who voices the Normandy sr-1 in mass effect 1??? I canât figure it out anywhere
Neil Ross looks like Ned Flanders
Gunner Wright
as Isaac Clarke
Councilor Sparatus and Celebrimbor from Shadow of Mordor are the same guy.
Bunson Baker And Mimir from God of War
Quark was the salarian embassador?đ
Carolyn Seymour. A hundred bottles of Serrice Ice couldn't match the class of that talent.
Wait, Sovereign is the male Exo from Destiny??
Meanwhile, I was like - what's Liara doing in Final Fantasy XIII?
Principal Snyder is in ME? ^.^
Couldn't anyone do the voice for Sovereign? I can't imagine it'd be very difficult to use voice changer software and sound exactly like it?
I actually never noticed the difference between Mordin's voice in ME2 and his voice in ME3 until I found out it was a different voice actor. I can't really say it ever annoyed me when I played through the trilogy twice after I fouind out either. Maybe I was always too much into the story to notice it though :)
Is it me or Mira (Diane Michelle) sounds like the voice in the train at the beginning of Half Life? (2:46)
Wait, Armin Shimerma? Quark from DS9?
Javik is not in Mass Effect.
It's me or Benezia's has the same face as Marina Sirtis?
I think salarians voices are sped up to suit their high metabolism and short life span.
Marina Sirtis? Wow... I regret now that I played this game in localization.
I am russian. I am always regret that i played in FULL localization of games.
As example in dragon age:origins : when Alister told to hero about his life he stoped and then u hear how actor( ho playd Alister in rusian) mumble how he must say this santence and hi try to say that several time with diferent intonation intonation. it was awful.!@#%
P.S.sory for bad english
Gleb Trefilov йаĐș ĐČĐŸŃ Đž Ń ĐŸ ŃĐ”ĐŒ))
R A M I R E Z
Holy cow Ashley's black?
Awwww, I almost kind feel sorry for Nassana, sure, cold-hearted and ruthless "super-bitch" who would kill her own sister in cold blood to protect herself and murder her own staff to cover her tracks from danger, yet, I feel sympathy for her and there is the irony with Nassana, she isn't as evil as Harbinger, Sovereign or Kai Leng or even the Illusive Man, she's just sad, pitiful and isn't really as cold as she seems, her sister, family pride, notoriety and survival, in Orlais in Dragon Age, Nassana is as resourceful and clever as any Orlesian Noblewoman, like the Grand Duchess Florianne, insane and power-hungry, but not evil by 100% at least, unlike the other villains before and after her I reckon. Poor thing right? Thane or Shepard may not think she deserves pity or forgiveness, but sometimes I do, whenever I think she deserves it at the very least for once.
aaaaaaaaaand armin shimmerman is the voice actor of councilor valern....
JUST CALL IT STAR TREK: MASS EFFECT ALREADY!
the Vulkrox Mass Effect Rapture*
Alastair? Duncan?!?
Councilor Quark??
Or principal Quark
As Armin Shimerman also played Principal Snyder in "Buffy The Vampire Slayer"
I hate how Male Sheppardâs voice sounds like the Family Guy Commercial Voice
Eh em avina
Mimir????
Most of the voice actors in ME1 are solid, but two in particular stand out to me.
1. MaleShep. Perfectly casted. Strong, authoritative, military voice. Very believable and natural. Also love the matter-of-fact tone that's especially present in some of his renegade lines (i.e. "Sometimes Joker is a real ass, just try to ignore him").
2. Liara. This actress is fabulous, probably my favorite voice in ME1. You can feel the brightness, enthusiasm, and passion in her tone whenever she talks anything Prothean, and that really brings Liara to life for me. The first private conversation with Shepard also stands out: Liara is smart, socially awkward, a bit uncomfortable aboard the Normandy (at first), yet she's also supremely excited about Shepard and his interaction with the beacon. This is a challenging mixture, but in my opinion the voice actress nailed it. I also love her deliveries when the conversation turns awkward (i.e. after Shepard says "sounds like you want to dissect me in a lab"). They're perfectly done; I can feel the sweat from the awkwardness forming on my forehead throughout.
Yvonne Strahovskis character must not have been a main one to show her at the end
Doesn't appear until Mass Effect 2
Goddamn, anyone else think they should have modelled Ashley Williams on her voice actor?
no
ĐżĐŸ
Yes
SonofaGib no, it wouldn't make sense. The voice actor doesn't have the body to be a military soldier
No nolan north... Wtf
So many talented people giving their absolute best in order to make the mass effect games great... yet Casey "clueless" Hudson only need half an hour in order to ruin everything.
Am I the only one who isn't too fond of male Shepard's voice?
Mark Meer did a pretty good job voicing MaleShep.
I do think his performance is hit-or-miss at times, though. Not always, but sometimes.
renegade shep is hilarious
Inspieos For me Mark Meer suits better with youâre doing a Pure Renegade play through since youâre cold and savage. Whereas Jennifer is perfect in any instance.
No? Chakwas was voiced by Helen Mirren.
Sirtis was an immersion-breakingly awful choice for Benezia. And a poor performance, too. She just acted as herself, not her character.
