I have a cam with front and back. Now I buy the same kit like you. I not yet instal it cause my cam have a park mode and I don't now in witch fuse I have to put it. Also I don't now if this support park mode 😢😢😢😢 Pffff not an easy one. Ps my cam not have a small batry build in 😮
I have 2011 Murano and tried opening the side trim, was only able to open like top part. Afraid to pull further. It’s safe to pull the trim at the middle ? Your car trim definitely seems like opener then my car.
I ended up popping the bottom clip out as well which can you see at 3:18 in the video. There is an existing wire harness in there so I just twisted it so that the trim piece was still touching the windshield all along the edge. I suppose you can try to use some fish tape to see if you can get it through without popping out anymore clips. If you do decide to pop out the bottom clip the, the bottom tip of the trim is very pointy and will dig into the foam on the dash so be a bit mindful of that and try to bend it a bit so that it doesn't take a chunk out of the dash foam.

This still looks too complicated lol
