Tocchet was definitely one of those guys who played like a Flyer. Legend 🏒
Rick Toccet, Ron Sutter, and Mark Howe were my favorite Flyers during this era, Tocchet was the real deal at both ends of the ice. And could fight his ass off.
Toc's junior coach in Sault Ste. Marie was Terry Crisp, a tough, fiery guy. Talk about a guy born to be a Flyer.
My mom cracked me up one night. We were watching the game and she asks me who is that Tocchet guy but she pronounced it like she was French like Toe-shay. I was like ten years old and it was so funny to me at the time and we still laugh about it today.
Nice story. Thanks for the laughs.

Wasn't sure if Tok could skate? Saw him score lotta playoff goals in junior on breakaways in '84.
That was Coach Keenan’s way of getting under players skin
