  • The times when electric motorcycles were considered as novelty items are starting to fade. This form of zero emission transport is becoming more common on public roads and there are even some people claiming that there is nothing special about all-electric powertrains.
    Even though some may say that putting an e-motor and a battery pack to a motorcycle frame is an easy task, manufacturers are trying to prove that latest ebikes are a marvel of engineering thought - the number of technical innovations, unseen before mechanisms and software solutions that these new products are packed with is simply astonishing. Our channel is highly focused on bringing the latest electrified transport news to our viewers.
    We would appreciate it if you followed our playlist dedicated to EVs that are riding on two wheels: • Electric motorcycles, ...
    As well as our previous round up dedicated to ebikes that were presented in 2022: • Latest Electric Motorc...
    In order to show you how many unusual designs and innovative technical solutions many upcoming battery-powered motorbikes are equipped with, we have put together a list of the most futuristic models.
    These can feature such solutions as:
    - wheels equipped with hubless electric motors;
    - combined energy storage systems that use both lithium-ion and solid state battery packs:
    - form-changing tech that lets you adjust the seat, handlebar and footpeg positions;
    - smart riding aids that feature artificial intelligence and real-time monitors (as well as helmets that project important performance data;
    - unusual shapes that increase aerodynamics, thus increasing the overall riding range;
    - extensive use of 3D printing;
    - futuristic designs that may become common in the upcoming years.
    If you would like to learn more about these motorcycling innovations, here are all models from this video presentation:

    It would be nice to have active links for each bike so people can go directly to a company web site. Nice video. You could also add start time for each motorcycle so people could go straight to a particular area.

      Hello, thank you for your feedback. We get it, there are many electric motorcycle concepts that didn't manage to make it to production, so careful skepticism can be always justified; but we have to be fair some models from this video are already close to production (for example Damon / Verge / Curtis bikes) or have the technology that is applied to other vehicles (like that of White Motorcycle Concepts).

    Electric motorcycles are usually criticized for using conventional bike designs, so we have put together a list of the most futuristic looking models, as well as bikes that have some unseen before engineering solutions. Will these models take off though? Share your thoughts below!

      Electric motorcycles have a long way still to go. At the moment they are too expensive, too short on range, too long to charge, too heavy. Compare that with my Yamaha MT-03. Under £5,000 new, 225 miles to the tank, fill up in under a minute, 168 kg wet, 100+ MPH 100+ MPG No contest!

    Why can't they make a motorcycle that has all the power distributed in the back end. But the front end is a generator that powers the battery. So the front Powers the bike in the back moves the bike. Continuous generated energy. And topping off every once in awhile. Perpetual energy Supply. It's my idea I give it freely and it was people to try to implement it. Blessings to humanity

      Hello, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately this approach just doesn't work. We wish the laws of physics would work differently, so we could have an infinite source of energy...

      The Second Law of Thermodynamics states that "in all energy exchanges, if no energy enters or leaves the system, the potential energy of the state will always be less than that of the initial state." This is also commonly referred to as entropy.

    Hands down the Damon looks all round amazing… if only the could get those retail prices down. Until they are more in comparison to a regular bike it’s hard to even consider an electric without having to raise so much cash first!
