Flashing back a couple decades to the infamous “And1 Mixtape” Tour that featured household names we grew up watching bring basketball into our homes every week, we are sitting down with Grayson Boucher, known as The Professor, for a special Friday drop.
Ryan, Channing and Fred talk to The Professor about how a young boy from Oregon ended up on the most popular basketball tour of the early 2000s. He explains how he went from community college to playing JUCO levels and by chance attended a tryout that forever changed his life.
Sharing details about the journey of being on the And1 and Mixtape basketball tours, Grayson talks about the success but also the pitfalls of the having fame and money overnight. Adapting to changing times, he turned his street ball skills and fame into a CZcams sensation amassing over 7M subscribers for his channel.

Same! I have never been a huge basketball fan. Can’t really stand the NBA. I watch the playoffs and highlights of the players I do like. But… I LOVED AND1. Used to watch it every day, have followed the professor since he had like 5k subs and of course, had like 10-15 pairs of AND1 shoes. A lot of people hated them. But those were some of the most comfortable shoes to wear to the park. I got into gymnastics and then parkour and those AND1’s were my go to shoe!

Helluva interview fellas. I've always wondered why the and 1 dudes never got a real shot at the league and this interview answered a few of the questions. I like the fact that the professor didn't gloss over his struggles getting into college I think that's the reality for a lot of athletes and then it comes down to how bad do you want it.

I tried out for And1 a few times. 1 time in Chicago the Other in Detroit. I was decent back then and can confirm that The Professor is the real deal. Black Widow and AO had NBA skill and it was easy to see.
