- When Ralph found a cat on his doorstep on a cold winter's night, he immediately welcomed it into his home and tried to provide for it. He had always wanted a pet of his own, but had never had the chance to get one, and this beautiful fluffy cat looked like the perfect companion. Still, the following day he did the right thing and tried to see if she belonged to anyone. But she was probably a stray, and he decided to let her stay as long as she wanted. And the following night, the cat had a wonderful surprise for Ralph that would bring warmth and love into his life.

In 2005, I rescued a ‘boy’ cat. Oops, next morning she had lumps & bulges. I took the little Siamese to my longtime veterinarian. Sadie had 7 kittens. I kept her and 3 of the kittens. Adopted out the others at 12-16 weeks. I still have Tootsie, the runt of the litter. She is a tortie. She will be 19 yrs old in July 2024. I love animals. They have souls.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
A boy cat - u mean a Tom?
💖 awesome!
@@edward9643 But it wasn't a Tom, it was a Mom.
@@chitownladyj (sigh) but at the time u thought it was a tom and u called it a boy cat
Ralph was adopted by the cat and 3 surprises. Congrats Ralph you're a dad.❤❤❤❤

How beautiful this man’s heart ♥️ is to let kitty in and caring for her. They belong together it was fate that brung them together . Such a lovely story ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
"fate that brought"
One cold October night in the mid-70s, my wife and I came home from shopping. We didn't notice a tortoise-shell kitten hiding in the bushes by the door, but as soon as we opened it the kitty ran in. I thought it was ugly. I had never seen a tortie before, and so her color patterns seemed oddly distributed to me. As soon as I sat down, the cat jumped into my lap and started purring. Next morning, we went around the neighborhood knocking on doors to see if she had an owner; I didn't want to keep her; I thought she was ugly.
Not finding an owner, we got "stuck" with her, and because she had a sweet voice, we called her Melody, and she grew on me. She slept on the bed, and was a playful cat. She loved the game of "fetch," and she turned into a lap cat. She was 17 yo when she got so sick we had to have her put down. It broke my heart.
They grow on you😊
The cat chose you! Their instincts are incredible! They choose people who will care & love them always! Aloha
I had a cat come to my door one very cold day, and I let her in. It was apparent she was ready to have kittens. She had 4 beautiful kittens, and I kept them all. I only have one of the kittens now, and she is around 12 now. 😊
Thank you for your compassion Ralph. Mama cat chose you for her family.
All five of my cats were rescues... I lived in a rural area and I said about 30 cats for quite a long time... Got them all spayed and neutered and found them homes... The five I kept are still with me today... They are my pride and joy and love always abounds... You are the adopted one Ralph and I am grateful that you fell in love with them all not hard to do at all... God bless you and your new family.
She’s gorgeous
Such a beautiful and heartwarming story it brought tears to my eyes. It warms my heart to know there’s people like this out there in the world
The CDS (Cat Distribution System) really knows who to pick. Amazing!
She sure is beautiful!
Stray cat started hanging around back yard with our little cat tied on leash..they made friends.... Every day for a month...we adopted this stray male...turn out to by Norweigan Forest Cat , male. If you know N F Cats....how lucky WE were. Both cats wonderful.
A skinny feral cat was laying on my porch one day. I’m a single retired guy with no pets and never had a cat. I tried to chase it away, but she just laid there with a feed me or bury me look and showed no fear. I tried to pick her up, but she bit me. I got gloves and put her in a box with a towel and left her on the porch with a can of tuna fish. Two days later she was still there, so I took Bitey to the vet who treated her for worms and malnutrition, but other wise healthy. I built a small house with a heated pad to keep her warm in the winter. She would not come in the house. Two years later she still lives on my porch, but comes inside every night for her snacks and ear scratches. She takes a short nap on my lap before jumping up to go back outside. She takes walks with me and never leaves my side. She is friendly only to me. I love this cat, renamed her Buddi.
You r a wonderful person the cat just needs love ❤️ and food god bless 🙏❤️👼😻😾
Took in so many strays that I soon had over 20 cats. My husband loved them as much as I did. All were tested n neutered or spayed immediately. And all got along fabulously.
Aaaaw thank you and hubby for being earth angels😇♥️♥️😇
Beautiful story. Renews my faith in my fellow man.😇
Lovely, beautiful, happy story. Thank you. 😊
Pookie was 6 weeks old born on a rubbish dump. She was brought to me. She bonded with me for 15 and a half years.❤️🔥💋
May you're life be blessed with health wealth and love you deserve all 3 and more
Take him in and a gorgeous cat. Keep kitty fed and warm.
💜💜💜
Ralph probably didn't stay single long. Owning his own house and having cats is going to be noticed. 😊
Never ever feed a cat milk it’s not good for them
I have 2 Kitties that I have that were abanded and have had them for 5 years now. They are my Babies Love them Both along with all the chaos they Bring Everyday 🥰
You are now a daddy to a family of 4 beautiful cats. A person is never an owner to cats, you are mommy or daddy or parents. You NEVER own a cat. That term is not acceptable to cat people. As you talk to people regarding your special family, you will find what I told you to be true. Have a very happy life with your beautiful family.
What a blessing for all involved! Thanks for sharing this video,
❤ now the cat has chosen it's human ❤
We call this the Cat Distribution System. Cats adopt you. You don't adopt a cat.
Wonderful! Yes, I've TNRd nearly 30 cats and wound up with too many of my own. My last rescue popped up in my memories today. Baby found his way into my home and heart 5 years ago today!
🐾🐾🐾🐱🐱🐱💖💖💖 Thanks for helping the cat. She is adorable little girl.
Awwww❤ I love this video. I love how he took care of the cat and it’s so adorable.
That's awesome Ralph took them all in such a sweet story
Kitty gave Ralph grankittens LoL ❤❤I love all cats s❤❤❤
I adopted 2 little kitties that came into my home made themselves at home and made me a proud dad of 10 little miracles 😊
I have had up to 5 cats at a time over the years. I took in a kitten maybe 3 months old at one time. This kitten was orange and named OJ. He was so happy. I took him in because he thought it was fun to chase cars going up and down the cul de sac. He became a house cat but
contiued to be very daring.
They know they know my love from Scotland thanks 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
They are all so gorgeous
3 more beauties, life is good😊
I wish all the background pictures matched the story and the cat never changed appearance. Takes away from the story. Might as well be a part of a podcast.
Growing up on a farm, I can relate to this story. We had stray animals show up here and have babies
God is always on time bless this man with his beautiful creation. And some God bless us all and to all a bless day 🙏❤️
Awwwwww!
Yes,I have . My roommate lied a said he found this kitten in the parking lot and brought my Hoku home She became my cat fiercely protective

Cute! That's His Family!
Lovely story❤
My old boy had been hanging put with a group of feral s , but when he heard me speak to him he leapt in surprise &rab TO me and commenced the figure 8s around my ankles . If that wasn't a cry for help....! Well ittook about a week of regular feeding to. Gethim to trust enough to come in, but after he did, he never left. We had 14 yeas together. I miss him dearly. 😅
Thank you for asking this beautiful cat in your house and the babies once again I must correct people that cat is not in it God bless you for the rescue❤
awesome story but one thing NEVER give cats cow milk, not good for them...remember you don't pick the cat they pick you, obviously this one had a spiritual connection and felt safe with him
Beautiful!!!
One time when me and my mom were walking home from an appointment, we started hearing meowing. We didnt know where it was coming from until we looked up. Up in a tree, ironically enough, was a small tabby. Poor baby wouldnt get down.
Mom wanted to go home and call someone or come back later but I wasnt leaving without the cat. She ended leaving without me while I tried to figure out how to get the cat down. Thanks to someone who lived nearby lending me a steplater and a rake, I was able to get the cat down and take it home.
Dad fought tooth and nail about the cat. He didnt want anything to do with it. No naming it (I already named him Tigar), no letting it past the mud room, nothing. He even called animal rescue to come and get it.
Then he pet it.
Cause he didnt think we had it, he told mom we could only keep Tigar if we had flea stuff. Surprise surprise, she grabbed it with no problem so dad had to call the animal rescue again to tell them we were keeping the cat he just told them to pick up.
Weeks went by and Tigar wasnt getting any bigger even though he was eating like a pig. Mom got worried so she took him to vet.
Turned out he not only was an adult cat and not a kitten like we thought, but he had tapeworm and likely would have died soon if the vet didnt take it out when he did.
Tigar is now the fattest cat in the house, very loved, and is my dads second favorite cat. The first favortie being the dwarf look-a-like cat that loves to follow people around, stand on feet, and claim laps whenever someone sits.
All my cats were either rescue or strays. I had 5 of them once, until they felt comfortable to go about their own lives elsewhere. I kept 2 of them when I moved, one (girl) who stays in the house and the other (younger boy) that likes to be let out during daylight hours. I always had the cats sterilized to prevent the local population from growing too quickly.
I own two females who were shelter cats that were adopted but the owner couldn't keep them. I yad one male but he was stolen so no I have the two girls. Where I live are many feral cats, and I feed all of them. One fixed and released boy is friendly and because my roommate keeps he front door open, the others help themslves with visits, but the yellow male is the friendly and loves pets and is a visitor in the house too. All of them I feed and water everyday.
Thank u God fir helping the cats I have 3 cats myself they were alone in a field it was sad I had to take them and they r the best babies I ever had thank u for being so kind I am crying now please take care of them please
Yes I have this is how I be gotten almost all of my kitties to take care of and to
Love. Thank you for a most enjoyable kitty video. Sincerely Linda McCartney a lady who loves all of God's Creatures and especially kitties. 😊
U r special. People who love cats.😊
Over my and my family's lives, we have rescued, adopted, and temporarily housed many cats, dogs, and a baby flying squirrel that was dislodged from a tree being cut down. Personally, my wife and I are on our 3rd set of house cats. Miss the 4 that we have lost and they are cremated and will go with us to the hereafter. We will have our cats forever. Now for the few that are asking about dogs, during one summer week that I was working in the yard, I had 27 dogs come and visit me for pets. Many are constant repeats today.
Beautiful Cat!!❤❣
It breaks my heart knowing that there are animals outside in the cold. Not eating, no one to love them.
😭🤧
Cat looks very well taken care of. Doubt he’s a stray!
In the early 90s my husband and I were on a long weekend trip when we stopped at a newly decommissioned army base. My husband went into the still-open commissary while I stayed in the car. I spotted a gorgeous gray abandoned cat under a car and coaxed it out. It purred so loud at being found! I looked at this beautiful cat and named it Thelma-Louise and we took it back to our hotel room. The next morning we discovered that TL was male, but the name still stuck. He was so thrilled to be with people that he'd jump up from the floor to our shoulders, purring the entire time. He and I volunteered at the local Veterans' retirement home for several years. I'd put him in a baby's dress and the residents loved him. RIP Thelma-Louise.
Such a heartwarming story. This was the Great Cat Distribution System working overtime! I've had a few strays showed up that adopted ME! 😅 Restance was Futile!
Great story. And i have done that. Most of my cats find me. About 5 years ago on Thanksgiving it was very cold and about 4 inches of snow. I was feeding a bunch of ferals, my tortiseshell ran up to me screaming, so i stroked her and realized she didn't have winter fur. If i let her outside she would have froze. So i took her in. And she is a great cat. Found a vet to get her a check up, she was fine, had her spayed, shots, and a microchip. No regrets for taking in my cats. They have repaid me many times over.
Also if you want a pet, and can't have one, volunteer at local shelters. Most shelters are greatful for you playing with dogs, and kittens.
Awesome story so happy they are a happy family Muah 😊
Aww 😻😻😻😻💖💖💖💖
I love you for your great soul ♥️ 😊
My cat, Honey, was a stray who walked up my driveway and chose to stay with me. Three weeks later I watched with surprise as she gave birth to three kittens. I'll never forget that moment or the thrill of watching her raise them.
How wonderful! I have done that. Couldn't find prospective parents that felt right about. So, I kept all four. The last one crossed the Rainbow Bridge a year ago, this past December.
I had a cat come into my yard. It was skin and bones. I started feeding it for several months after which time l wanted to keep it. It turned out to belong to a neighbor whose kids had lost interest in it to the point where they had stopped feeding it. It only ate what it caught. I was told if l wanted him l could have him. I told them that l was going to give him a good home and that they would not see him anymore as he would be an indoor cat. I gave him 12 good years with lots of love. He was 15 when he passed. To this day, l still miss him. Those people should not be allowed to own any more animals!! I have since taken in my brother’s cat when he passed in 2016 and recently, rescued an elderly cat through animal rescue. I have had 5 cats and each one has been a joy.!!!
Lovely story!❤
A home without a cat - and a well-fed, well-petted and properly revered cat - may be a perfect home, perhaps, but how can it prove title?
----- Mark Twain
We feed a stray cat . We were buying him a kennel as we can't have it indoors as we have an indoor cat and dog already

Hello Dad
Have we met?
What a wonderful story this is. You will be blessed for what you did for the momma and her babies. Thank you for getting her spayed. Please make sure you get the kittens spayed and neutered. Four is a lot. May God bless you and your new family! Thanks again!
Dank je wel voor het redden van deze lieverd ❤❤❤❤respect
❤ super glad this guy took this cat in. But don't feed them milk. Fun fact most cats are lactose intolerant they don't have the enzymes in their intestines to break down the sugars in milk
Yessss
The Universal Cat Distribution System noticed that Ralph was currently catless.
That was amazing young man God bless you 🙏👍😁
Just recently I had an older fat cat show up on my porch And he meowed politely I gave him some food and he returned The following day so I let him in the house And now he's part of the family. I am very surprised And very lucky That a cat would choose me
Earth angel 💖😇
Great and ❤️ loving story n I absolutely love 🐈 cats thanx for being so kind 😊
BEAUTIFUL STORY !!!!
THANKS!!!!❤!!!!
I was driving out in the country, and a tiny kitten walked out of an irrigation canal. When I drove past the kitten ran back to the canal. I stopped the car and walked back. The Kitten saw me, and came running up to me. That was last year, and he is laying on a homemade cat tree right next to this desk. His name is Baby. I also have 2 other cats. A male and a female. They are brother and sister. The kitten and the Female cat Sheba just tolerate each other. The alpha male "Tux" and the kitten "Baby" play all of the time.
If my homemade cat tree is available, Baby or Sheba will be on it. Sheba was on it an hour ago, but I see that baby is there now. I wish I knew what they were thinking at times.
Yes I have...what happened would have to be a series😂
Milk is not good for cats
So he saves not one life but four that night!
I took in a pair of sibling kittens who were left orphan when their mother brought them to my home before dying.
I didn't know they were there until my cat Sandy who was 15 years old heard them and she I never once seen run that fast in her long life run to the back door and started to scratch at it and kept scratching(something she never done before) and meowed until I opened the door.
I took them in and made a vet appointment for them.
While doing this my cat took to the kittiens like they were her own kept them warm and safe.
Ended up keeping the kittens.
A year later we laid to rest Sandy next to the mother of the kittens outside under the old Birch tree in the backyard.
That was two years ago, Morgana and Arthur are two now.
Sandy was the real hero, I wouldn't have found the kittens until it was too late if it wasn't for her.
Over 10 yrs. Ago I started taking care of stray and feral cats. So far I've had 30. All get shots and yearly check ups sprayed and neutered. Now I'm getting old have cancer and worried about how to get dental for 3 of them.
I will not get myself dental until their have theirs. In case I die before them I'm leaving my house to a friend and she will take care of them. She's younger than me and is a very kind person who loves my babies. This winter I made a way for some others to stay in my basement 9:10 when it was cold. I can't bring them into the house because I don't have money to get them the vet care shots and fixed but I do feed them. Cats eat first as I don't have a stomach any more so I don't feel hunger. I do get snap and I go to the pantries so we do have the food needed. You should see my house when chicken is being boiled down I have to laugh because they all meow at me " hey Mom when it going to be done". I have to lock the bedroom door so I debone the chicken. Some of them know how to open the door if it's not locked
A similar thing happened to me , but my cat is solid black . We named her Wednesday because my daughter said she reminded her of Wednesday from The Adam's family and it was on a Wednesday night that she had showed up . Wednesday was just a kitten and the temperature was was in the negatives . We've had her now for a year and because she was a stray it has taken her awhile for her to get use to people and we are still learning to trust each other .
1984, Easter Sunday, my brother, my soon to be sister in law and her brother had left and I was doing the dishes, when I heard a not so soft meow outside. There was a tabby cat, "swollen" - quite clearly due in a few weeks. She came in and like Ralph I fed her milk - only to regret that later big time - she shat on the living room Persian carpet ... When my grandparents returned, grandma cleaned it up (I helped) and the cat ... was allowed to stay. She gave birth in our kitchen, again grandma assisting her. Five gorgeous tabby kitten. We had mom spayed 6 weeks later - she had already met up with a tom again, but this time we took no hostages - or rather, the vet ended it telling us after the fact. We were not mad.
She stayed for another 8 years, then she had to be euthanized, CKD.
....Yep, Had a cat move in with me... Animals ~Know, who to trust !
that is a maincoon cat. they are super loving and you can tell by the M marking in the middle of its forehead
Yes
Yes and I had them.for seventeen and i.have two other they were abandoned on my hill I live on. They are still with me now
Thank you❤
