Friday the 13th Part 4: Discussing The Classic Slasher

- čas přidán 11. 10. 2022
- There may not be another Friday the 13th coming anytime soon, but Halloween time always gets me wanting to spend time with everyone's favorite hockey-mask-wearing psychopath. But with 12 films, it can be quite hard to choose one. Thankfully, there's one element that one of the movies has that is sadly absent from the rest of the franchise: Crispin Glover. Oh yeah, today we're of course talking about Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter.
WATCH OR OWN THE FILM HERE: amzn.to/3vxzAup
Written, Narrated and Edited by Tyler Nichols
Produced by John Fallon and Tyler Nichols
Executive Producer by Berge Garabedian
SERIES SYNOPSIS: Ahhh the 80's. A simpler time where the blood ran red, the tits swung freely, and the weed was copiously smoked. A time where rampant killers were simply excuses for excessive sex and over the top murder. Yes, we're looking at an era where the slasher movie ran wild over cinemas everywhere. Today, we're looking at "Real Slashers."

Such a presence and an intimidating Jason Voorhees.
Rest In Peace
Mr. Ted White 🕯
🫡😑🙏🏻👼🏻😢😪
The best movie in the franchise, hands down. One of the best slashers ever made.
Part 6 is the best
Part 6 destroys this.
@@boejiden6587P6 is quite overrated and too silly, like Part 5.
Part 6 is too goofy, Part 4 destroys part 6 in every way.
@@LarryFleetwood8675 All these movies are serious and goofy when they choose to be, that’s not a good argument for a movie😂.
If anyone who has never seen a Friday the 13th movie wants to see what its all about, but doesn't want to sit through all the movies, this is the best entry to introduce them to the series.
NO. They need to watch them all or keep their traps shut.
@@CaptainSpalding72 imma be honest, some of them are plain awful/boring so I'd only show them the best ones personally 🤷♂️
Bad idea because the beginning is full of spoilers. I saw 4 before 1 because I was dumb.
Part 6 was the first one i saw
@@CaptainSpalding72 now you're speaking my language. Those who disagree with me have no right to their opinion! Me and the cap fighting in the street
Parts 3, 4, and 6 will always be the S-Tier movies in this franchise.
Part 2 is better than part 3 imo. Better cast and I liked the more sneaky hillbilly Jason
Parts 2 and 3 are both great, IMO.
@persistentlypathetic6820 yep. Part 3 is boring and the characters are very dull
@@travzimmerman1340wait really? I don’t remember it being too special.
@@noeisnothereit also looks like shit
Ted White is tied with Kane Hodder as my favorite Jason. He was the first to actually portray him as menacing.
@@travzimmerman1340 I wouldn’t say that. It’s more like Ted White and CJ Graham were under rated.
For me Ted white followed by Richard brooker . Kane hodder was in the worst of the films
@@JoeT-re5ro I liked 7, it’s not my favorite, but still enjoy it. After the get progressively worse with 8, He’ll, and Space.
R.I.P Ted White was a great Jason
🫡😑🙏🏻👼🏻😢😪
parts 3 4 and 6 will always be my favs 💓
For me it's always a tie between part 4 and part 6 as my favorite!
Oh shit exactly!! There's no other way to judge the F13th films!! It will be contested like that until the end of time and after!
Part 4 is better because it's more realistic. Jason in part 6 is just a zombie that can't be hurt by anyone which is silly and makes no sense.. getting struck by lightning with a metal sphere isn't going to give you magical powers and immortality
@@persistentlypathetic6820 so what was realistic about part 4????
@@persistentlypathetic6820 Wait so Jason having his entire right eye destroyed and still being barley alive afterwards is realistic?
CJ Graham played Jason in part VI, he did an awesome job.
Part four is my absolute favorite of the series, and has some of my favorite kills. I consider it to be the quintessential Friday the 13th movie.
Completely and totally agree with you
+lance turley
Not only do I agree it's the quintessential "Friday the 13th" film, but I believe it's the quintessential slasher film. Perfect in every category. 👍
This is my favorite movie out of the entire series. I have more Ted White signed memorabilia than I’m willing to admit 😂
This is my second favorite of the series. Ted White was great as a woodsman Jason. The cast were great, especially Crispin Glover. I felt bad for the girl who almost had frost bite from dangling in the raft while wait for the stab effect to happen.
hypothermia
God bless those boobs.
Me too
@@dr.loomis4221 thanks for the clarification, Doctor.
“Hey Ted where’s the freakin’ corkscrew?!?!”
Ted.....
My favorite of the series. Saw this opening weekend back in 1984 when I was 12 years old. Theater was so crowded that me and my friend had to sit on the balcony steps. Still one of my favorite movie going experiences.
I got to see it on big screen upon release, too. Jason was bigger than Elvis . The first 4 films are classics.
Part 4 is still one of my favorites besides Part 3. Let's not forget that this one featured one of Elvis Presley's leading ladies, Joan Freeman from Roustabout as Mrs. Jarvis. Also Rest In Peace to Jason actor, Ted White
🫡😑🙏🏻👼🏻😢😪
This is the best of the series. I remember seeing this in the theater when I was 10 years old (yes, my Dad is awesome!). Great Savini effects too! Wonderful recap from Tyler and the JoBlo Team!
Hell yeah, give it up for the all of the "cool" parents out there!! My mom took me to see Childs Play when I was in kindergarten and I'd be lying if didn't tell you that I missed a couple of the scenes bc I was burying my face into my mom's side and gripping her like a spider monkey!! Lol!
NO FRIGGEN WAY!!!! I was able to convince my parents to take me to theater to see this too!!! I WAS 10 YEARS OLD TOO! Wasn't this just the best?? This will ALWAYS be my favorite!! It just stands out for alot of reasons
Lol...me as well guys. My dad took me to see 3 thru 9 (RIP Pops) I was 12 when this came out and it is by far the best one of the bunch.
Yeah the hippie hitch-hiker was soooo stupidly random and hilarious! Poor Banana!
I'm not going to fall for the banana in the tailpipe
Easily one of the best from the entire Friday the 13th franchise.
I always appreciated Rob’s consideration in telling us exactly what’s happening to him. “HE’S KILLING ME!”
I always felt sorry for the girl playing Sam and what she went through in that raft scene. But it was nice that the guy playing Jason threatened to leave if they didn’t let her warm up. Paul was a fool. The twins were cute but Sam was hotter.
She also aged like a fine wine.
@@molasorrosalom4846 She looks better now than she did then. RIP Ted White, aka Jason Vorhees.
You said it. That was the finest girl in the entire series.
part 4 was the 1st "Friday the 13th" film I've ever watched, because it was part if a marathon, 5,6&7 were among that group and they got me into the franchise. 4&6 are my favorites.
Man! I absolutely ADORE this entry…. It’s pretty cool it has a 70’s beginning to transition into the 80’s vibe…. It’s always between this one and par 2 as my favorite Friday Flicks….
Best in the franchise. Best actors . Best atmosphere . Best Jason Ted white . Best kills .
Richard Booker from part 3 is my favorite Jason, but this is my favorite Friday film.
The most agile and sadistic Jason.
@@lionelhutz5137that would be reboot Jason
It’s always between 4 and 6 for me as the best but as of now I’ll go with this one. Just watched last week too.
My favourite sequel of the series. Part 7 a close 2nd with the girl with TK powers.
Yep, mine too.
Part 7's underrated and it even works as a kind of stand alone horror movie, due to its different story it's way better than the silly and overrated Part 6.
Agreed! The Final Chapter, Jason Lives & The New Blood are my favorites in the series.
@@LarryFleetwood8675 overrated dont mean shit anymore
Tommy Jarvis is a tribute to
Tom Savini ,who worked on
the series during this time.
By far the best of the series. Best characters, serious tone, badass Jason. Mid 80s. What more can you ask for??
The part when he's screaming ' He's Killing Me ' had me and my cousin laughing in the theater
For some reason, that makes most people laugh
Same here. He's like, ok I'm giving up on the first jab
As ridiculous as it comes across, I read somewhere that reactions exactly like his aren’t unusual from people in real life facing extreme trauma/death.
It’s the complete opposite of the “gets stabbed and makes a small grunt and immediately dies” spectrum.
In the 1980's I had the PLEASURE and honor of being a teenager and seeing part 3 through 8 in the movie theaters with our 3D glasses for part 3 and about half a dozen of us made T-Shirts with "Go Jason" in red food coloring, etc. Such a good time back then !
One of the best in the franchise...might be my 2nd or 3rd favorite.
Amazing cast and acting, the scariest Jason ever, awesome effects, scary lighting and music, the best chase scenes of the series. This one is not just my favorite Friday, its one of my favorite horrorfilms, period! And the main girl is honestly the best "fear" acting I have ever seen
Hands down the greatest installment of the entire franchise! Ted White is the quintessential perfect Jason. The ferocity and tenacity that he used while playing Jason is second-to-none. The best Friday, best Jason, top notch killes, epic music, and actual dreadful atmosphere.
Final Chapter and Jason Lives are the two best in the series. Part 3D Comes in 3rd place.
R.I.P Ted White, one of the best Jasons.
🫡😑🙏🏻👼🏻😢😪
One of the best in the series! Might be the best.
This one and part six are still my favs. I agree though, this group of victims might have been the best of all the movies.
So many lines from this movie. One of my favorite horror films. So fun. Crispin Glover needs a award for being Jim. The axel scene when he curses when Jason's hand slips out is hilarious.
😂😂😂yess!! Holy Christmas shit!!!😂😂
@@gregoryrome2751 I remember watching this for this 1st time with my best friend in like 9 grade. Rewinded that part so many times😂😂.
Axel was the very clumsy dude from Police Academy and he was the Rabai from Seinfeld. Actually 2 Seinfeld actors were in part 4, Axel and the male ambulance driver who brought Jason to the morgue.
Sad news Ted White passed away yesterday he was 95 he was one of the best Jason's bought a meaner tone to Jason and was fast and all of his kills we're brutal RIP Ted White 🖤🔪🙏
🫡😑🙏🏻👼🏻😢😪
The continuity IS nuts in this series of films. But with the endless things that could be nitpicked about all of the inconsistencies--both large and small--one that I rarely ever hear being mentioned is how with the total amount of years that are implied to have lapsed between films (excepting parts 2,3,and 4 which supposedly take place in immediate succession, with something like a day and a half or so per film) the '80s went on for quite a bit longer than just a single decade. In the world of those films, society was aesthetically stuck in the '80s for at LEAST like 20 years.
"Ted, wheres the corkscrew!?"
"We have no suits!" 😄😄
@Scottocaster6668 you're a dead F
"Trish...Run....He's killing me.....He's killing me"
Ted White , C.J. Graham, Kane Hodder , Derek Mears they all did great at being menacing . But Hodder will always be the ultimate Jason .
@@travzimmerman1340 Yeah, because the quality of the films completely change his performance.
Between Crispins’ DF dance moves and getting to see Judie Aronson “strip n dip” twice makes this one of the best entries imo 😍😋😛
RIP Ted White. My favorite Jason
🫡😑🙏🏻👼🏻😢😪
Always had a fan theory that Teddy was Gary from the movie The Last American Virgin with a new identity and friend group that he “thinks” he can project his own insecurities.
Also the chubby hitchhiker was his best chance of not dying a virgin🤣
If I ever meet Lawrence Monoson I gotta tell him that I love both movies and decided they’re the same person 🤣
The ‘retelling’ at the beginning of these (and anything with multiple sequels back then) is because if you didn’t see the others in the theatre-you missed them completely…. Until we all got vcr’s and were able to rent them… you were s.o.l. for many, many years!!! That’s why… they ALWSYS showed the ass-kicking parts too… the ones you had described to your friends until the new FT13th came out!!! We needed it back then 😂😂😂♥️♥️💋💋
Well Empire Strikes Back and Godfather 2 didn’t need them
I do love y'alls coverage of older horror! I love 4 but 6 is my fav! I may not agree on the scores you give at times but hell if we all agreed Twitter wouldn't exist!
The final chapter wins it for me. It's always been my favorite Friday the 13th, or since the moment I saw it. I started off with part 7, then jason x and Freddy vs Jason. A couple of years later as I was a bit older I got hold of 2 DVDs which had part 3&4.
I liked part 3, and after seeing the final chapter I was blown away by it. I just loved the way everything connected, and the brutality of Jason. That ending was kinda shocking at that time, seeing Jason get hacked down by a child who was hinted to be the next Jason in the end..
After watching the movie almost every year, I can definitely say it's my go to Friday the 13th movie. You have Ted White, who was past his 50s at that time doing an excellent job as Jason. He is without a doubt in my top 3 stuntman/actor to embrace this role. For me he's tied with Richard Brooker. His aggresion and movement really sold us the plot of a pissed of Jason who just escaped from the morgue and was on a mission.
We have the most likeable cast(for me atleast)which stars a bunch of talented young actors who went on to become succesful later on. Most of the scenes with Jimbo and Ted were pure comedy. The inclusion of Rob Dier was interesting but a bit wasted. The Jarvis family was also a nice thing to have, since we only had people who didn't really have anything in common in the previous movies. And this group of teenagers actually feels like a "real" group of friends. Did I mention Crispin Glover's dance? Oh yeah!
There's also the kills. Tom Savini really went out with a bang in this one. When I'm thinking of Friday the 13th, this is what I want. Some brutal/gore scenes. Many of the other Friday the 13th movies suffered from censored/butchered kills, due to later MPAA restrictions or budget limitation. Even that shower scene looks brutal, or the shadow off-screen kill.
Maybe there are some negatives with this one, but for me this is the best Friday the 13th especially if we're talking about a slasher. Jason Lives surely competes with this movie, but for me part 4 is slightly better.
Great installment; right up there with Part 6 and the remake.
That dancing scene was classic
Love this franchise, great video Jo
I would argue part four is the perfect slasher movie it's simple but so effective
Ted white was the most intense and aggressive Jason. Played him perfect this is prime jason before all the supernatural zombie stuff. RIP Mr. White.
BEST slasher movie EVER! Without a doubt best in the FRIDAY series. I've seen quite a few videos where the early installments take heavy criticism for their recap of previous films & feel it's quite unwarranted. Back in the early 80s Home Video & streaming were in their infancy if they existed @ all so they were a quick nod & reminder to previous events & that makes the early FRIDAYS even more classic.
Great video, Tyler!
I liked how they made this one the most bloodiest. At the time .
This is the best of the series , my got to ..although I am biased as I was 9 and my uncle snuck me into the theatre for my first R horror movie ...Talk about a lasting impression :) ... Tommy is by far the best character of the entire series ( besides Jason obviously ) and u are correct ..Crispin Glover was excellent and the cast was perfect for this one.
Honestly as much love as this film gets, I still think it's underrated by horror at large. Which makes sense, because the first few films of this series aren't really anything special, so people might not think that the 4th movie would be worth watching. In addition, a lot of people will get tired of the formula which I think hurts their impression of this film. I feel like all the time I see people say "It's good, for a Friday the 13th movie," and such, when I think it's one of the stronger 80s horror movies. I think that it shouldn't be treated as a mediocre film like a lot of non-Friday the 13th fans say it is. For me personally, I am not really a Friday the 13th fan, I'm a Friday the 13th The Final Chapter fan.
Definitely my favorite of the series!
The Final Chapter is my second favorite Friday the 13th movie after part 3 💯💯💯💯💯💙💙💙🤍🤍🤍
Agreed. Part 3 was the first one I saw so it will always be my fav, but part 4 is maybe better if I'm being honest. If nothing else, part 4 had better actors overall.
My favorite Friday. The part when Jason rips down the crucified Rob in the doorway was classic. The rain makes it that much better.
That was Jimbo (Jimmy) that was ripped down from the door frame.
@@lionelhutz5137 Ah, ok
This has always been my favorite of the franchise!
Trish was so badass. She went into terminator mode at the end.
The F13 series has so many great heroes and heroines that creators can’t seem to nail down. Give me a retconned Trish and Tommy. Ginny showing up would be amazing.
This installment falls into the 'better than it has any rite to be' scenario 😂
I actually cared for at least 6 characters, Tommy, his mom and sister, (a nice wholesome family) the twins, and that one dude searching for his missing sister who was killed in the 2nd one i believe.. until this sequel i only cared about the final girl, and that ending is beyond awesome!
Same man. Ginny is great, but no other characters were until part 4. It is “better than it has any right to be” because it takes a series that’s okay at best 4 entries to get good
I consider parts one through four to be One singular four-part movie, but this is probably my favorite in the entire franchise.
I'm the same way! I've always considered 1-4 one, big movie and it's my favorite!
Damn right it rules! That last 20 minutes is pure horror magic.
This is the best film in the franchise and is also in my top 3 favorite horror films. Ted White’s performance as Jason Voorhees is my favorite out of everyone who played Jason and I like how they did have a conclusion to the franchise, well except for the look Tommy gives at the end, but even hearing the ideas as to what could have gone on after this film and have the idea of Jason being a disease that spreads person to person and making people kill as if he’s still alive I think would have been interesting. It’s also cool to see the introduction to Tommy Jarvis and the beginning of the Tommy Jarvis trilogy. This would have been a great way to end the franchise, but since it made money more came, for better or for worse. Great video, keep up the great work!
(at around 35 mins) The strange dance which Jimbo performs at the party was contributed by actor Crispin Glover and was based on the eccentric way he actually danced in clubs. On the set he was dancing to "Back in Black" by AC/DC as the scene was filmed. In the film however an edited version of "Love Is a Lie" by Lion was dubbed into the scene
58 years old at the time, Ted White is the oldest actor to portray Jason Voorhees. White, who died in October 2022, was the longest-lived cast member (96 years old).
Last film in the series to pick up immediately where the previous film left off.
Though he disliked being involved with the film, Ted White is considered by many fans to be one of the best Jasons.
Joseph Zito had previously directed The Prowler (1981), but they wanted him to both direct AND write Friday the 13th Part 4. He said, "But I'm not a writer," to which they said, "Here's a contract paying you double to write and direct," and then he responded, "Yeah, I'm totally a writer." Zito used the extra salary to hire Barney Cohen to somewhat secretly write the script. Their process entailed Zito taking nightly one-hour phone calls with Phil Scuderi to discuss the story and script for Final Chapter. The next day Zito would meet Cohen in an apartment in New York to relay what notes and ideas Scuderi had offered, which they would then turn into new script pages to be sent later that day to Scuderi in Boston to be discussed again over the phone that night.
(at around 9 mins) The nurse's name tag reads "R. Morgan, RN," an homage to actress Robbi Morgan, who played Annie in Friday the 13th (1980).
Ted White refused to talk to the other actors during production because he thought socializing with them would diminish their fear of Jason.
(at around 10 mins) The workout video Axel watches is Aerobicise (1982). It stars Darcy DeMoss who went on to have a role in Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (1986).
at around 1h 2 mins) In one scene, Rob talks to Trish about his sister, Sandra. Sandra was one of Jason's victims in Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981).
At the time, this installment of the series contained the most nudity and gore.
On a budget of $1,800,000 the film made $32,600,000 at the box office.
(at around 9 mins) The moment where Jason's hand moves in the morgue was done by Ted White after Joseph Zito had called cut on the scene. However, the camera was still rolling, and caught this movement, and it was included in the film.
This is the only film in the series to shoot new footage using sets and locations from a previous film. The beginning takes place on the set of Friday the 13th: Part 3 (1982), before moving to a new location.
Ted White was uncredited as Jason Voorhees by his own request because he felt it would hurt his career. Years later he grew to accept his role and started appearing at horror conventions.
Director Joseph Zito was opposed to using clips from previous installments at the beginning of the film.
It has been suggested that the only reason Tom Savini worked as make-up artist on this film was so he could accurately age and properly kill the character he created from the first film.
During filming Kimberly Beck, who plays Trish, experienced strange occurrences including a man watching her while she ran in the park and strange phone calls at all hours. This stopped when production was over.
Jason actor Ted White and special effects artist Tom Savini at first were confrontational with one another. But once White found out Savini had experience with stunts, the two became friends.
Director Joseph Zito wanted Jason's hockey mask to explode apart in the opening credits, but there was not enough time in post-production to pull off this gag.
Even though he plays her son, Ted White (Jason Voorhees) is actually 11 months older than Betsy Palmer (Pamela Voorhees).
The Jarvis family's dog, Gordon, was named after a recently deceased dog which a friend of director Joseph Zito owned.
Jason's death won the Golden Chainsaw Award in Dead Meat's "Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter" kill count.
Kimberly Beck stated in the Crystal Lake Memories book that she does not like the horror genre. In addition to this, she also said that she feels this film was not even a B-movie, but rather a C-movie.
Final film of Joan Freeman.
According to Jason performer Ted White, Corey Feldman maintained a bratty attitude on set. Feldman maintains that this was due to poor treatment by director Joseph Zito and that during filming of the scene in which he attacks Jason with the machete he was pretending that the sandbags he struck were Zito. Even with his attitude, White stated in interviews that Feldman was a very impressive actor.
Chronologically, parts 2, 3 and 4 take place over the course of five days. During that time Jason kills 34 people.
As a result of spending so much time in the water during filming of her death scene, Judie Aronson actually developed hypothermia due to the freezing temperatures of the late night shoot.
at around 1h 26 mins) The scene at the end, in which Corey Feldman hacks up Jason with a machete, was done by having Feldman chop away at two sandbags.
The poster shows the hockey mask with a knife on its left eye socket. Jason is defeated with a machete going through his left eye.
Ted White is the second tallest actor to play Jason at 6'4".
Body Count: 14
First film on the series where Jason doesn't kill anyone with his machete, instead he gets defeated by Tommy with Rob's machete
Corey Feldman wore a skullcap to create the illusion that he had shaved his head.
Ted White's Jason for some reason gives me nightmares, he has that freakish farmer's strength, where if he gets his hands on you, it's all over.
RIP Ted White
Would have loved to have met him at a Horror Convention.
At first he hated the movie, but then he learned to appreciate the role when he went to a Convention and saw how long his line was, and what it meant to the fans.
@@molasorrosalom4846 yes sir he was offered 5 and 6 and he turned them both down but now he wish he hadn't
The Final Chapter is such a great movie, everything from the characters to Jason himself is handled so well in this flick, it’s definitely in my top 3 along with Jason Lives & The New Blood.
I remember being 10 years old when my older brother took me to see this on opening weekend. I loved it! It isn't better than 2 (which is still my favorite), but it certainly out does all the others.
Nice work. 👍

Absolutely my most fave group of all the movies. I really cared about the characters so it makes it so hard to watch them all get killed... I wanted half of them to make it this time! Crispin is adorable and the boy and girl that fall in love make me so happy. Until they're dead. Ah well. Still great memories.
It’s the first 10 minutes of the film that hooks the viewer. After a 2.5 minute prologue of summing up the previous three(via Paul’s campfire story) they immediately take you back to where all the mayhem ended at Higgins Haven in which the entire Calvary is there to clean up the mess, helicopters and all! Still gives me chills when the last ambulance leaves, and all that remains is a silent and empty camp for a good 5 seconds.
Absolutely the best of the franchise my favorite entry bar none
Older horror is the best now days as it’s rarely scary when compared to how disturbing and realistic modern ones are. I’ll check this out!
Crispin Glover FTW!
Just discovered yalls channel right in time for spooky season. Really enjoying your videos! Heres my ranking of the FT13 movies:

Ted White was brutally aggressive as jason , i wouldnt wanna be found by this jason! Let alone get killed by him, he's huge, he runs full speed, his kikls are vicious, and he does not spare anyone even the supposed hero rob got it which when i first saw it blew my mind lol this movie was epic in everyway possible and has been in my top 5 friday films which i will always champion the original 4 movies and i will always champion a new beginning 😊 but thats a diffrent topic lol
Love this Jason his design and kills looked amazing. Loved the movie RIP Ted White 🕊

It's the best LOOKING for sure. Somehow this one has better cinematography than any of the ones that followed, the best Jason, and Crispin alone makes this one worth watching. I'd say this is the high-point of the series. This one is reliably entertaining but well-executed too.
He wasn't a zombie until part 6, and even then it's debatable. He's an unkillable machine.
This is my favorite movie of the entire series.
Easily my fave entry.
This is my favorite film in the franchise, and I feel it embodies everything a "Friday the 13th" should be. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's the best slasher film of all time. It was perfectly executed.
My favorite out of all the movies
Feldman peaked as an actor in this one. Since then he's gone full method with his role in life.
I have to say, this was the last Jason movie watched until he went to space. It really was a brilliant a deep, bloody film with one of my favorite actors at the time Cory Feldman. It felt like a good ending, so I felt no real need to watch the later movies...but I couldn't deny seeing Jason In Spaaaaace! 😆
Fav FR13 movie for sure
The one I consider the best. My favorites are 4 and 6.
i guess many would agree - the best of the franchise hands down.
This is the best one.
And it’s not even close
Richard Brooker and Ted White are the best ‘Jason’s’…. Yes, I love Kane Hodder but there’s something about the way these guys do it…..
"he's killing me!"
Hahahaa! A little exposition before he succumbs.
One of my favorite entries in the series. Trish is my 2nd favorite final girl (after Ginny pt II). She put up one heck of a fight and is also to me the prettiest in the whole series. And of course there's Tommy, played brilliantly but Cory Feldman, who end up being the most iconic character in the series after Jason. And I liked the inclusion of Rob. You finally have someone interested in all the killings and wants to try and do something about it. But after saying that his kill was pretty lame. I expected him to put up more of a fight (like Paul did in pt II). I also loved that it picks up right after pt 3.
My favorite of them all. In my opinion, Ted White is the best Jason. Part 4 is brutal with some of Savinis best work. This one is my go to. Cool video.
man, think about this, IF critics actually mattered at all, none of these movies would have made any money. CRITICS DONT MEAN SHIT! present company excluded obviously lol you guys are great
Jimmy and his dance moves were the ben tramer of the friday franchise. A bright light snuffed out too soon. R.I.P to the rug-cutting king
