@Dashland13 You have a great mom! when I went to my first concert of DD it was 85 or 86 and I was escorted by my friends father, luckely he was cool and let us be... guess what... the next concert on june 11th... he is doing the same and we are so honered!
Odd that Simon never looks this comfortable playing guitar on SAP, despite 37yrs playing it. LOL. Where's rest of this perfrmnce? Nvr seen it before. Thanks for sharing.
Well, maybe it's because most of the time, he isn't playing at all. Just pretending to be playing. None of the acoustic your hear on this performance is live. It's prerecorded. Take a look at 0'24". His timing with the strumming is totally off.

Since this is 2008, Andy left the band a second time during their tour of Astronaut - his second time with the band was short. It is unfortunate but he has a hard time working with the other four. This song is wáááy to happy. If DD still want to make an impression their new 2020 album really needs to have a more mature, darker (guitar driven) sound. And PLEASE, bring back an organic sounding drum instead of these computer samples we hear on every album since Astronaut.
