Big Thing was Duran's most underrated album, and it has some of their best tracks ever on it! Too Late, Marlene is a perfect example. Oddly enough, the whole B side of the album is even better than the A side, and I don't say that very often about a band's album. Rio will always be my personal favourite, but Big Thing and Astronaut are tied for a very close second. I am actually fortunate enough to own their original self-titled album, and I do mean the ORIGINAL.. This was the one that was released in 1981 and had the track To the Shore on it, before it was deleted and Is There Something I Should Know put on to replace it in 1983. The original 1981 album has been out of print for nearly 40 years, so the fact that I have it and that it's in pretty good nick makes it extremely valuable, as are the picture discs I possess, and Duran Duran's View to a Kill on white vinyl. The single was literally pressed into white vinyl instead of the usual black vinyl. It was a limited release, and I managed to snag one, so, I'm sitting on money!
