Thanks! I think it might also be my desk light. When I just look at it in normal 'room lights' it is pretty grimdark. I'm actually afraid of darkening him up any more with washes, since I tend to get carried away haha! Thanks for watching!
@Adamslee72 thanks for watching and commenting! I loved this model, painting it up was a real treat and I hope all VC players who get him appreciate how much fun it is to paint.
@landofmert Hmmm, I usually try not to add water straight to the pot. I did that with some paints and they completely dried in the pot lol. Since then, I've decided that keeping paint mixable and damp is what the ghetto wet palette is for =D
@DeathlyTharcandus Thank you! I agree, he is a beast, and looks so great once its finished and at the front of a VC army! Glad you liked the video, my friend!
@landofmert you could, but I try to cut it with some water, because its easier to build up, rather than get so much shading that u have to re-paint the surfaces.
@isatoprince Thanks! I don't think I have enough room where I live to break everything out for a family portrait lol most of my collection is all boxed away, as well. Maybe someday =D
@roguexarch yeah ive found that doing 1:1.5 paint to water, generally works, you want a skim milk consistency. It takes practice but its great when you find the perfect consistency that works for you :)
@GhostofWinterFire Thank you! =D Go forth and paint your Krell to the heights of epic-osity, my friend! No one can stop the three VC amigos when they hit the downtown clubs together! Lady vampires watch out!
@roguexarch Oops! I meant 1:0.5 paint to water. If you're doing foundation paints, 1:1 is generally okay, but you don't want the pigment to separate too much when using the 'regular' range of GW paints.
@KainTLA Thanks! They're coming along, I just finished filming my unboxing of the venom and will be doing the taetorial on the wytch hekatrix soon =D Giant woolly mammoths have a tendency to do that lol! Did you make a video of him? I'd love to see how he turned out!
@ChaosBroodLord thanks man lol I know, I guess its time to change the old poster tac there. Don't want a black axe in my head like that one Mantic skellie.
@WarbossTae Oh I aint brave enough to make vids mate lol, I'll inbox you a pic of him over the next couple of days :) Looking forward to the DE taetorials :)
Looking nice Tae, Hows the dark eldar comming along or are they all done :) Ive got abit of painters block at the mo...can't decide what I want to paint after spending 2 weeks on that damn thundertusk!
THIS IS SOOOOO COOOL! hey tae, its been a long time since ive posted on your vids. i dont really have an excuse but the letter count is kinda low for some reason so this is goodbye! hippo.
@Anubis1182 Works for me! lol Thanks for clarifying! I bet that's why someone hit the thumbs down on this video =P "Stupid warbosstae, don't know the difference between a cape and a cloak!"
@comissar1998 Ooo I don't have any GK figs, but I'd like to try painting one. Maybe I'll see if I can get my hands on a character model, or see if i can trade someone for a single plastic GK figure.
Krell is looking good. Looking forward to Part 3.
@Desertrat2k8 thanks! Really appreciate the kind feedback! I'm glad people watch while they paint! Best of luck with your Knell!

@WarbossTae Well it does work :P 20 zombies still looking at me with a "what the hell" face :P
Would you add water right to the pot? What are you doing to water the badaab down off screen?
how do u get ur paint more liquid but not runny, i can never get the mix right :(
do you use the Badaab black straight? I just bought some.
