- Hi Everyone! My name is Andi Jenkins and I’m a chai-fueled thrifter, vintage reseller and interior stylist. All Put Together is where I share my latest thrift hauls and styling tips. In today's episode, we're shopping on of my favorite antique malls in Portland, Oregon - Stars! I shopped both locations (there are two right across the street from each other) and found some amazing vintage pieces for me, my Etsy shop and my vintage booth. Can't wait to show you what I find! The first thing I thought of when I saw that small painting was silos like you would see on a farm.
Agreed
That's what I was going to say
Yes, could totally be that!
Those could be grain bins in that artwork!
Yes!!! :)
It looks like grain silos to me 18:03 I would have picked up the lion tapestry 9:03 You got a gorgeous RAKU vase.
I actually went back to the store today and almost bough the lions again! I need to just do it next time lol.
The painting with the tall cylindrical shape; they are grain silos. I grew up in a very small Midwest town and my father sold farm equipment so he would take me out to visit the farms sometimes. We also had some grain silos at the western edge of town. That painting really took me back.
The wooden box once u oil it up, it will be even more gorgeous!!! Re-oiling wood brings it back to life and brings out the beautiful grain!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
I totally need to do research on how to restore wood finish. I pass so many things up because I'm not sure what products to use.
I want that horse art! Haha I used to ride horses and nowadays I am feeling attracted to horse art.. idk what gives lol but not questioning it.. definitely want!
I'm so sorry - the artwork sold. BUT you're not alone in liking it - horse anything is very popular right now! :)
Andi 😂 you are cracking me up “ the place I rest at night “
Great stuff as always
Haha thanks!! ;)
The three objects in your painting look like grain silos. They have that shape and are often in multiples.
Yes, they could totally be that! :)
Your sunglasses!!!!! 😍
Great video as usual Andi!! Love your new throw pillow and yes, you can never have too many!!😉💜
Thanks friend!!!
Another great haul Andi. Loved the floral painting. Beautiful colours!
Thanks so much 😊
Can you do a video showing how you ship oversized things like stools etc? I think those are some sort of buildings in the painting. Silos?
For stools, I don't really do anything special. I just find a larger box or make my own by cutting down a few. I usually ship through FedEx or UPS because they tend to be cheaper for bigger items.
Just started watching! Love your choices so I subscribed!! Great video
Yay! Thank you! :)
great video 🎉❤
Thank you!! :)
I loved the wooden sculpture of the family.... Such a unique shape.
It brings me so much joy when I see it. :)
That needlepoint lion! Looked like it was from a super-premium high-end company that makes the kits. Very moody. I'd hang that in my room.
Love you keep so much ❤
Grain storage (grainery) in small painting
Youre probably right!
I think they are silos in the painting but because of the different size it made me think of the three kings, but the landscape is wrong. Cute painting.
I thought three kings too but you're right, the environment doesn't match! It's def a tricky piece!
Love your earrings…
Thank you! I got them so cheap and they are my absolute fav ones to wear when I want to spice things up.
midwestern girl here. I think the objects in the paintings are silos....maybe
Gorgeous raku vase. I'm more into abstract than floral art but that large floral painting that you'e saving for your boudoir is lovely.
Thank you! :)
The slim, pointy things are probably Italian Cypress trees. They are often featured in Italian paintings. Enjoyed looking at your treasures.
Yes, could totally be trees! I love Italian cypress!
Great haul! You always find the best stuff!!
Thank you!! 😊
I have a luggage wooden wrack just like that one but it’s ours. I never see them for sale out in the thrift. Thanks darling you made my day
I just brought it to my booth last week to see if it sells there. Fingers crossed!!
I was wondering if the painting is the three wise men, I mean they traveled in the daytime too. 😊
Haha I totally was thinking this too! ;)
Breathtaking haul!!! Such captivating finds!!! Extremely well done!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
Thank you so much!! Appreciate it!! :)
At 11:38 there's a cat in the case. It looks like a UK DeBethel piece from the 60s - 90s. I have 2 of these and they're so pretty. Worth another look. 😊✌️🇬🇧
Thanks I will have to go back and check it out!
I think the small art piece is of the three wisemen but I’m not sure
Totally could be them!
I wonder if the lion embroidery was from wizard of oz? Poppy fields?
It totally could be that!
I think that wooden family is meant to represent the Holy family of Mary, Joseph and Jesus.
Maybe, but Jesus did have siblings
Yes, it could totally be that too!
Silos
Have you tried the luggage racks in your booth?
I actually just dropped it off last week so we will see how it does!
I haven’t seen the full video yet to know if this was addressed, but did anyone see the little orb at 9:18??
I totally forgot to film that item. It was taken by an associate because it had no price. BUT they did call the dealer so I was able to purchase at the end. :)
