Some aren't even pennies at all! This is an absolutely epic coin roll hunt and I am super stoked to be able to bring it to you guys. Enjoy!

Yo im stoned rn
Just came here 2nd video of the new year... same state of mind
I vapes thc o for the first time and I’m looking at the quarters I got for the laundromat.
I’m watching this from my recommendation after a bad acid trip that landed me in the hospital. Had a full blown psychosis and tried to hurt my family. I’m still in the hospital they don’t know I have a phone but I managed to get it in lol😂
My wife has 2 piggy banks that she filled before 1962. Her dad would bring her change for her banks every day when he came home from work. She would put all the silver and one bank and all the pennies and another..
when the banks were filled in 1962, her mother put them up in the crawlspace of their new ranch house. When her mother died in 2015, my wife and her sister cleaned out the house to sell it and they found the banks. The banks are a little smaller than a gallon of milk. They are completely full. My wife will not even let me catalog the coins in the banks for sentimental reasons.
The reason she stopped putting money in banks in 1962 is, her dad took her to the bank and open a savings account when she entered first grade. And that’s where she put all her money after 1962..
her dad had a habit of saving silver dollars when he got out of the army after World War II. He paid cash for his cars with those silver dollars in the 50s and 60s..
in the mid 70s when I got hired with the company I just retired from. I bid on a job in the meter reading department just for the summer. I was tired of sitting at my drafting desk making changes to circuit maps.. I would find change on the ground practically every day back before credit cards and debit cards when people carried cash and change in their pockets. when I would walk through parking lots of malls and grocery stores where the snow plows would push the snow in the winter. One time I went to where the snow was melting on a hot day, I found over six dollars and change that day.. I also found $87 in bills, one of them was a five dollar silver certificate, and a $20 bill.
all this money I found, I saved every penny and I have three banks completely full of all the coins that I found. I have the bills saved in an envelope in my safe..
I also have a piggy bank filled with Eisenhower silver dollars. When my wife and I first met, she worked for a large bank in the trust department. I told her to bring me 10 silver dollars every Friday. And all of them went right in my piggy bank just for the silver dollars. I still have everyone of them.. but they are Eisenhower silver dollars from the late 60s and early 70s… not really worth a lot
I also bought $100 worth of Sacajawea dollars the day they became available at my bank. I only opened one of the rolls to see what they look like, the other three rolls I never opened..
One of these days, I’m going to go through those coins my wife has in her piggy banks that were filled before 1962 and catalog each coin
My mom always collected money. She passed away in February 2022. I found a small jar with wheat pennies. And I found some Morgan dollars and some silver quarters and some other random coins. She used to have a couple of check book boxes full of wheat pennies. Idk if she still has them, maybe in something still packed away.
I used to buy her old coins. And after looking up a few of what she had left behind, that is why I watch these videos. I never realized how valuable they are. I remember my mom showing me a penny that had the markings of a dime. I wish I knew where she had it. And I hope that I didn't give it away or sell it. I don't think so but I didn't know to look at the pennies that were in with everything else at the time.
Sorry for the long rambling comment. 😂. I just miss her and I get a little bit excited about her hobby now that I'm paying attention to it myself. 😂
Sorry for your loss, keep collecting!
hey from one long talker to another, I'm sorry about your mom's🫂🧠🫀🩺💜... and I think that it is really neat that this has turned out to kinda be a way you have found to connect back with those fond memories together 💜
Good for you. Mom would never steer you wrong. Your twice blessed to carry on her hobby. It will also bring you much closer to her even though not still here. She is with you never the less all the wonderful memories you made and shared as well as the hobby that you now share. I miss my mom too stay blessed love. Niagara falls Ontario 🇨🇦

Just got 400 rolls of pennies from my great aunt. She passed away at 97 years old. Needless to say she collected pennies for over 60 years. After opening a couple of rolls, I found a complete roll(s) of 1939 and 1940. The roll paper is so fragile it's almost falling apart on it's own. Some rolls are from the Federal Reserve. I've also found a 1944-S sealed in a small plastic zip lock. It looks flawless. I found 1 roll of dimes with a 1963 ender on one end. I haven't opened it yet. Just hanging on to it for a while. Also found a 1964-S proof quarter uncirculated. There's 4 bags if coins stuffed into one huge canvas bag that reads FDIC Sunburst Bank on the outside of the bag. There's also a 24kt Gold 1oz. Coin of Donald Trump in a sealed case. Eventually, I'll take a few days to properly examine everything. For now, I just stare at the end old penny rolls and wonder what I might find.
A 1931-S? 1943 copoer? 1944 steely?
1955 DD? Probably not.... but ima have a blast looking.
I live in Michigan so the story starts with "I was getting drunk with friends" and woke up with a 1900 Indian head penny in my pocket change from the liquor store. It started my obsession of collecting pennys
But really is this coins valuable
Next time you want to remove tape without damaging the paper use a hair dryer to heat up the tape. I makes it much easier to get it off and won’t ruin the paper.
Scotch or duct tape?
That is great advice my friend
I got into coin collecting a few weeks ago ond one of the first coins in my collection was a 1921 wheat penny! Keep up the good content!
Nice!!
Mine was a Buffalo nickel that has no date on it and it's in pretty good shape so I don't believe it's just rubbed off so I'm trying to figure out if that's a thing I've googled it but thiers so many different things that I'm not sure what is true lol so I'm hoping someone can tell me more about it.. but anyway good luck on your collecting I just started also..
@@paulriversred738 I have a dime that is like that! On the front you can only see 19 on it and on the back it says "UNITED STATES ERICA" It looks like it was somehow smeared off and I just think it is a cool coin to have.

This was so exciting to watch. Holy Cow!!! I've never seen a coin hunt find such incredible coins. Congrats and thanks for taking us on this adventure with you.
My uncle gave me all of his coin collection series. There all from the 1940s and earlier. So many good Penny's too. Love your videos Quin!!
Wow, that’s awesome!! And thank you!
Awesome videos. Last week I found a 1911 "V" Nickel. Thanks to you, I am learning slowly.
Fantastic hunt. I would love to go through a box of those rolls. Once in a lifetime. Love your videos. Keep them coming Quin.
This was awesome to watch. You are lucky to have had something like that come your way. I just recently started going through my change and started my collection. This is unbelievable what you have gotten. I am new to this hobby so i sm still learning. The earliest i pulled out was 1918 no mint mark and a 1926 no mint mark that has that wood grain like you stated, really pretty coin i think.
Thank you for your information on all rare coins!!! Have a blessed day because you deserve it!!!
The oldest wheat penny that I have is a 1917 no mint. I love collecting wheat cents. My oldest Indian head penny is an 1881 and I found it metal detecting in 2015, I was so happy with that find! When my father passed away he left me a nice collection of coins.
I have a 1926,1941,1947,1956,1958,1944
Same with the wheat penny
Wow thanks to David you found some fantastic coins. I can only wish to open penny rolls and find these treasures. Thank you so much for sharing🥰
I think this is the best hunt you have ever had on this channel that is great!!!
If I'm not mistaken, I believe that the Kennedy facing Lincoln was a sample or promotional item used by Littleton Coin Company or similar company that would advertise in the back of magazines.
Epic finds man! A couple days ago I got four penny rolls from the bank and found a couple wheats. Third roll in and I found a 1910 s. Keep up the awesome work.
This is why I love collecting coins. My dad has some amazing coins too. I have a 1972 quarter on my Keychain, I found it with a hole in it, yet it's given me good luck so far.

This was really cool to watch, and it's getting me excited for my own hunt--we just inherited my husband's grandfather's collection. He had a bunch of small containers that he put change into, including a candlestick holder, because why not? But he also had over FIFTY rolls of pennies, all rolled by hand. Excited to see what we find!

Those 1931-1933 coins are extremely hard to find ever in circulation, the us mint struck very few coins during the height of the Great Depression
That makes sense, I didn’t think about that! Thanks for the info!
@@QuinsCoins also 1922 coins are hard to find
I would be so excited to come across some rolls like that. very nice thanks for the video loved it.
What a great episode! Good, good stuff! Thanks.
It's always so cool to hold an old coin. Take the 1918 for example. That coins was made at the end of the first world war and survived the second world war it was made before we walked on the moon and the us was nothing like it is today when it was minted. And even through all that it survived the past 104 years.
Yes, just imagine the stories it would tell if it could talk... 🙂
Thank you David!
Love your channel. real inspiring for me, happy new years!!!
awesome coins, the box that keep on giving....
Looks like a D mint mark on the reverse of that 1914 Barber dime. Beautiful find!! GREAT HUNT !
Thanks for the fun and entertaining video! Your enthusiasm concerning the Indian heads reminded me of when, just a few years ago, I received an 1883 Indian head cent in change! I've been collecting since 1972 and never, ever thought that would happen. (BTW, at 2:37, when you were reading the words off of the bank roll, the town "Greenwich" (in Connecticut) is pronounced "Gren-itch." 🙂)
I've found one Indian head thus far, an 1898. Congrats on all those neat finds!
Hi Quin I watched this yesterday evening and I really enjoyed watching you find all thous Awsome coins in each roll keep on producing your tube clips have a good week ahead
What an epic hunt! Awesome results.
This is awesome!
I've been collecting for years but just started yesterday. Having turned 65 and just retired i was looking for a new hobby. Then it came to me when i saw a glass jug and old candy jar that i have been throwing pennies in for years. I started in on the jug and so far 8 wheat cents and a lot of 60s 70s and up with one 2009 ( Lincoln taking a break ). I havn't even scratched the surface (no pun) of what has accumulated for the last 25 or so. Still fun looking closer at these pennies . Then it dawned on me that the mint puts out the best looking coins in the world. They are really good at it. Anyway i found my hobby. Cool video. Have a nice coin day.
@pinnedby Quin’s Coins… that one? well, im still digging on my old cache. Yesterday was good . Nothing worth anything. A few 50's and 7 more 60's. The old 1 is a 1918 but i had to clean it because it was covered with a thick black substrate (?)and didnt know if it was a dime or penny. Its worthless ( worn down to a nub)but i had a good time dealing with a mystery. i'm almost half way thru on the jug. It's a big jug LOL . Have a nice coin day.
Captain Moretokin, I find you really interesting!! =} Happy Hunting, May some treasures be in you favor... Best of Luck🍀!!!
@@karaenbody6703 :Thanks a million( hee hee).Update,,, There were over 30 wheat backs , And a slew from the 50's and 60's that were really nice. I couldn't tell them apart from brand new pennies. There is even a cool 69s mint, there were two but one was mud brown. The other shines like the dickens. That one might be the one that sends me fishing. Cant have the fish fry without fish you know. Thanks again . And have a nice coin day!
That was fun, Quinn! Thanks for the entertainment!!
I've been collecting since the early 80's, and that first Indian Cent almost gave me a heart attack before I saw the date. I could swear I saw a mintmark on the reverse.

The Kennedy (cents*)were a novelty stamp they sold a lot in the back of comic books in the 70s. At least I vividly recall them for sale. It was on or near the novelty Johnson Smith catalog page where they sold lots of gimmicks like x-ray glasses, joy buzzers. Jay Norris Co sold them, two for a dollar. They made a killing.
Thanks, that was nice to know. =} I had one kinda like that, but instead of Kennedy's face, it was a Free Mason symbol. Dont remember the year on it, it wasnt to old but the Free Mason symbol had me in awe.. Tried searching it but nothing came up, nobody had anything like it. well that was sharing their finding or knowledge of it anyway.. Sad part is it got stolen about 6 years ago along with my other Gems I had. I thought I'd never start up my hunt again, I was So crushed/hurt! I just Lσνㅌ the нunt an not knowing what your gonna get for change.. =} 💰
@@karaenbody6703 The Masonic one with the square and compasses is a penny given to Freemasons when they're raised to Master Mason. It doesn't have to be a penny but 9.9 out of 10x it is. Got two wheaties of my own. 1945 and 1957. A buffalo nickel from 1925 as well. Cool stuff.
Some company used to manufacturer souvenir cards that listed the similarities between Lincoln and Kennedy. The card came with an uncirculated penny glued to it, and the penny was stamped with the Kenny profile.
QUIN, what is that wood grain. In the first wheatie… what causes that? I had a large jim beam bottle full of coins which I sorted found a hat box full of wheaties and about 2 pints of pre-30s wheaties and found a couple of those grained coins. found a few weird coins, a blank planchet too in the bottle, not to mention silvers.
I believe that it is a result of an improper mixing of the metal alloy
Ryan that Barber dime was amazing to find. I had just the opposite. I found 2 rolls of pennies in dime wraps. Made me sick. The bank gave me my money back. Great video.
just discovered this channel. Very cool. Im looking through all my coin jars.
Wow! If this collector would like to sell a few rolls, I'd be a buyer! Nice finds!
Greetings from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Before Canada phased out the use of pennies a few years ago, I had been collecting any American pre-1959 'Wheaties' pennies I could find (schools having fund-raising 'Penny-Parades' were a good source!) Over the preceding decades, I managed to accumulate about 4200 of the U.S. 'Wheaties', as well as several of the 1943 steel pennies. Can you give a rough estimate as to how much these coins might be worth? Or should I just turn them back into the bank for their face value?
Common wheats in average condition will fetch about 2-3 cents each if sold all together. I definitely wouldn’t turn them in!
I will give you $100 for the Pennie’s- let me know if you want to sell them
@@billstarr6198 I just checked to see how many there are, and it totals 4285 of the pre-1959 'Wheaties', 13 1943 steel pennies, and 1 1905 Indian Head Penny. Where do you live? I'd have to consider shipping charges when determining a price.
I would definitely check them against the key dates and low mint dates before selling them for a quick bit of cash, would hate to see you short yourself when you've put so much time into finding such a large number of foreign coins.
@@BurnMoneyBeats Great advice for the young buck, asswipes ready to take advantage of kids.

Glad you saved them old wrappers. You don’t see many of the old Abbott coin counter wrappers anymore. I used to see a lot of them back in the 60s and 70s when I was a kid. Some of that stuff had to be taken out of circulation a lot more than 40 years ago because I was checking pennies at that time and I never saw anything like that bunch. Actually, I think I find a lot more old stuff nowadays. I didn’t seem to find a lot of old mintmarked stuff in the 80s and 90’s..
Sick video, amazing rolls wish I could have them 👍👍👍👍
When I was around like 9 or 10 years old, I had some Lincoln Wheat Pennies that were from the 1910a, with the oldest one being from 1912. I forget what markings that they had, but I am sure that they are pretty valuable.

Really Great hunt !!
5:09 pm January 20, 2024 bought $10.00 worth of penny rolls from my bank. In the rolls altogether I ended up with 34 wheat Pennie’s. I thought it was interesting getting that many. Usually when I get penny rolls from the bank there are no wheat Pennie’s. So it was a great find. So I added them in the coin flips to protect them.

Hi, just started collecting coins. Came across your video, really like that laminated list of dates you placed your pennies on.. where can someone get that? Thank you!
I pulled the super rare 1914 D wheat Penny the other day!!!
I remember as a kid in the early 1980's it was very common to find wheat cents in your change. It was also fairly common to find a silver dime, or quarter in change. There was also the occasional buffalo nickel or mercury dime. Those days are long gone because in the 70's and 80's people that didn’t even collect coins would pull them out of circulation. My mom had a coffee can filled with silver coins, buffalo nickels, wheat cents, and Indian head cents she'd pulled out of change.
