Vince your videos are one of the finest, clearest and most articulate ones…last night, it was fascinating to watch your talk with Kirk… simply awesome. My musical taste too is quite aligned with that of yours. 😊 thanks for sharing your valuable insights. 🙏🏽
This is the first video I have seen from your channel, but as of writing this I have already seen a few others and your content is excellent. I love the information-noise ratio in this video. On the subject of ambient-atmospheric music, there are many videos with a rather lazy approach in which random elements are taken and drowned in reverb or delay. Lacking intention. I finally found something that focuses on composition and is as well done as your video. New subscriber here!
Excellent. Nuances of a prog rocker just beneath the surface. PS - 13:37. Don't apologise, Vince. I am sure they are delighted to hear their jobs are probably, though not necessarily, safe for a little a longer :).
I saw that you have the Slate & Ash cycles library. I'm curious how you use that for cinematic music. I've been using that for electronic experimental music
It’s a new tool for me but it seems very useful for creating a lot of ‘bread and butter’ sounds for cinematic music. I might do a vid on it as I explore the possibilities
an essential video on this topic. REally brilliant masterclass . Thanks
The final track is so beautiful. It's great to see these concepts in action. I'm commenting as i watch 😊

Thanks for the encouragement, glad you’re enjoying the content!
Very helpful tips! What a nice look on how to create pads and textures. This is so much interesting than picking a preset like i do 😅

Waiting for Vince to record a less than 10/10 video. Been waitin' a long time and he's not even getting close 😎
far too kind! Glad you're enjoying them :)
Always great to see a new video from Vince 😍

well put, it's been seeming like faux marble to me, up to 3 points of interest just below eye level
ooh nice metaphor!
