It is because of Space Mutiny that my friends and I still say, "special effects by Industrial Light and Morons."
"Ah nice, our two heroes are burning a disabled man alive..." Makes me cry from laughter every time that and "you could hit menopause at any moment young lady."
I'd comment on what MY favorites were but I gotta go: Valerians are waiting for my call right now so...
"He sneaks like he's out of toilet paper and has to shuffle to the next stall to wipe" .... so funny, and it is so specific. Man, the writing is just top notch.
"So does he!"
The fact that the leads are still married, about 43 years now, only makes this and the MST3K episode even better. When I showed the MST3K episode to my daughter several years ago when she was a teenager, I thought she was going to pass out from laughter. We love it so much.
I literally just watched the MST3K Space Mutiny last night. Give me a rail to throw myself over in excitement

I always amazes me that they're able to riff the same movie more than once and come up with completely new jokes.
