The dialogue is so good because they don't have specific lines to say, so they stumble and think about what they're saying in a natural way, such a good show!
Great actresses, Great drama series but very painful to watch at times. The subject matter is dark so no doubt, it can't be glossed over. Such a good group dynamic that you feel they've all been friends for years in real life....Would it be stretching things for this to come back for one more concluding series? Would love to see what becomes of all the characters....
i couldnt take knowing vicky serious on a personal level. i would constantly think i was in an episode of this is england rather than real life. she is transfixing. people must be star struck wherever she goes.

I like this show. Im curious why are most British shows mostly old geezers. No offense really but an every kid cant really compare himself to a 55 year old having shenanigans with a bunch of 60 year olds. This is England is relatable because of their youth and driven story

I know this is an old clip, but there's something not quite right about this. Feels odd watching these women talking to the posh, upper-middle class presenters who have no intention what so ever of watching this series.
I didn't like the first episode. I found the acting and dialogue a bit 'weird'. Last night's episode however was superb. Great natural acting, and quite a disturbing ending. Hope it continues this way.
