- In this episode we're back in the Coffs Harbour hills. Burto and I are keen to see how far we can push our Patrols while Dad really shows us how it's done in the MUX. We find an incredible camp spot in the rainforest, tackle some infamous tracks and have a bloody good time doing it.

Yep sent the front away and it seems to be working all good now, back doesn't work at the odd time here and there so maybe get that fixed after Christmas holidays
Lol - those isuzu's just jeep surprising, over and over again -they get through many of the tracks the bigger tanks struggle on. Patrols are good too but.👍

I like Berto’s rims, and yes, been a local. It is beautiful out there. Let’s hope no fires go through there this year when I finish my 60s series chop I’m hoping to get out to those tracks

Another cool video. I'll be going to Coffs in late January but not doing any of these tracks. Can you recommend any easy to medium trails to he a look at?
As a fellow TD owner, how'd they go on engine temps and egts? Very important, and potentially life changing info for all TD owners!
Only time it got hotish (just over 100 degrees), was repeated attempts at those ruts at top of commando. But that's still within Nissans recommended temp range

Middle of summer and heatwave, lights a campfire, smart move.
A small fire, on creek rocks, with water all around it, in a very green rainforest area, dangerous stuff 😂
Ah yes, a person obviously unaware of the devastation that even a small fire can cause. The ground vegetation fuel in those Forrest's are huge and would be incredibly dry.
There is a reason the fines are so large for fires lit during prohibited burning periods, being 1 Oct to 31 Mar, as it only takes one loose ember to get away from you.
To advertise that behaviour and blatant disregard is pretty average.
@@brockcooper9712 feel free to check the NSW state forest website, currently no fire bans in North coast NSW, aka Coffs Harbour where we were.

I am well aware the devastation a fire can cause, I am also well aware how to safely light and control a fire during times fires are allowed.
The NSW state forest website states - "If permitted, campfires must be less than 1m2 and 4.5m from the nearest log, stump or tree. The ground around within 2 metres must be cleared of all flammable matter.
Do not make new fire pits or leave your campfire unattended. Be sure your fire is totally extinguished before you leave. A smoking fire is not extinguished."
