    Alright Tyler we need to talk distances. I've noticed you're a bit out in your videos regarding Mt Dissa and Tallarook.
    I live in Northcote which is an inner north suburb in Melbourne. From my house the Mt Disappointment tracks are a 40-45min drive and Tallarook is 55-60mins. Both under an hour and you quoted both as 2hrs out of Melbourne!
    The first track you did is called rocky track, medium track and you did a side wall? Man thats bad luck. I've done about 20 trips to Tallarook with the same maxxis and never had a puncture. At 21mins I think your camping on the side of Rocky track where its flat. If you went for a small wander just down the hill from your fire you would have discovered you are at the top part of Jenkins number one. That top section is a genuine hard track like Phone and Steep tracks. I noticed you turned off right at the point where it gets hard on Jenkins no1, a wise discission with that moisture. It gets worse past where you cant see.
    Love your vids mate, see you at the 4x4 show.

    Its interesting how Patrol owners are honest and although they are exceptionally capable and durable vehicles, they admit their vehicles can break and have weaknesses. .....Landcruiser owners....."never ever got stuck and never ever broke anything mate" LOL....eejits the lot of them, and that Shauno bloke from the 'other' channel is the worst, always bleating on Toyota this and Toyota that

      Yeah very good. Theirs good spots in forest range like "lefroy" just outside Georgetown. Follow your nose following the highway to Bridport belligham track. Only follow the tracks off the side of the highway as far as your comfortable 👍you'll see them. You can drive up to of the mountains and get a view or plenty of beaches to explore like beechford to eddystone Point, or lulworth area. Also Paris dam wall region is good 👍

      Diesel is more expensive than petrol now and petrol engines are way cheaper to service way way cheaper, even petrol engine parts are way cheaper than diesel and I'm not a fan of a rattley old bucket of bolts with a actual forklift engine that came in a Nissan forklift and takes 10 minutes to reach 100kph 🤔

    • @bears2604
      @bears2604 Před 2 lety +2

      @@nicholasturner5159 obviously this comment hit a nerve, it wasn't my intention to upset anyone ' it's just my opinion. I have a 1990 patrol td42, and an np300. Diesel is more expensive but if you do the sums, for instance Tyler says he uses 25 litres per hundred in his patrol.. diesel is still works out cheaper I had a 4.2 petrol patrol before I went diesel , and boy was it thirsty, hence taking note of being told to switch and eventually doing so. With a turbo and 200hp it's hardly a fork lift but wouldn't mind if it was nothing wrong with fork lifts lol. Being cheaper to service well I only ever put valveline in mine which I get for $40, Also 50 60 or 110 being the speed limit not much point having power when not towing unless your not worried about your license. And even though I have a later model vehicles I still love driving my ol girl more than any other, I guess it's something only true classic car guys would understand.
