My philosophy is, when it comes to parenting, if you choose to have kids; you owe everything to your kids. You practically force your kids into this hell hole of a world, you do not have the right to manipulate and control the child to your standards; the child should be able to choose what they do and do not do.

Regarding the Ace family…I was a cast member at Disney (Epcot) you can buy that VIP access… I do not for one minute believe Disney invited them. It’s about 850$ per person the last time I checked (which was several years ago, I imagine it’s only gotten more expensive). Granted I worked at Disney world and not Disneyland so it might be more/less. Also, it’s Halloween time right now at Disney and you’d expect to see the villain characters. Funnily enough I dressed as Cinderella and met up with the stepsisters and they were nasty and mean just like they were in the movie. Know what happens to character performers who don’t stay in character… they get written up, transferred, or get to be a fluffy character where they don’t talk. Don’t want characters to be nasty to your kids… don’t meet the villains.
Thank you it’s the same for Disney World you can purchase this kind of VIP experience a cast member walk to you around walk to the front of the line they make sure you have Primo seats at all the shows etc. but it cost a lot of money and I doubt they invite anybody since even the Kardashians pay for that privilege and they were hell of a lot more famous than Austin and Catherine
Plus if the guests are rude/impatient with the characters then that gives the villain characters more room to be “nasty”.

The have both been arrested for child abuse -- August 2023 -- in Ivins, Utah. Poor little boy was tied up and climbed through a window to ask a neighbor for food and water. Neighbor called police, little boys are in the hospital in St. George, Utah.

I have NEVER heard ruby say one nice thing about any of her kids. She only ever speaks about them in reference to how she doesn’t owe them a goddamn thing and how they need to obey her and her rules. It’s just ironic because she makes a living off of her identity as a mother and simultaneously treats all of her children as though she straight up hates them. She is absolutely insufferable.

I definitely agree with you about the children. And I also agree that both of these women are operating in ways that are consistent with some cult leaders. The only difference is that their “cult” doesn’t actually have any followers. I think this would all be a lot more dangerous if there were people following them. But there’s only two members of this cult: Jodie and ruby. But yeah, I do think the kids are in danger because since they’re minors, they’re kind of like unwillingly forced to be a part of their twisted cult.

Ruby has always seemed so repressed to me. I never thought about seeing it through a gay lens but maybe that’s why she needs so much order and strict guidelines in her life. It’s sad but true that often the most homophobic people are themselves gay. Internal homophobia is wild.

I mentioned in a different comment that I went to school with Ruby and I think I might know who she's talking about. If I'm right about who she's talking about, I danced with her for a few years in a competitive dance company. We all went to school together for years. We were in choir together. I think she may even have been in the school play one year, if I remember right, and I was always in the plays. And honestly I didn't care for this person much either when I was in school, but honestly the worst thing she was guilty of was that she was popular and had a bubbly personality. I don't think she was Mormon, but I could be wrong about that. She's could be kind of mean sometimes by spreading rumors about people, which isn't ok, but she was a teenage girl. My guess is that by the time she died about 4 or 5 years ago, she had grown up quite a bit and hopefully had made some positive changes in her life, because maturity is part of becoming an adult. She passed away from cancer about 5ish years ago, and it was really sad.

Disneyland has VIP tours that give you a tour guide, jump lines, etc. It's $10k, so they did get a VIP tour... but they likely just paid for it and made it seem like Disney gave it to them for free.
Jordan and McKay did an entire video talking about how connections is like a cult and used specific, standardized criteria to determine how close to a cult it actually is.

From what i’ve seen they tend to talk more about the mormon sect of christianity and all the subsequent traumatic experiences/practices. No, babies don't consciously think "oh, I'm going to cry to manipulate my parents". They might be hurting or just going through that early phase of experiencing sadness and emotions for the first time and we don't know because they can't yet speak and tell us what is upsetting them. At the time he "preached" this, he didn't have any children. Well, he ended up having a baby of his own. And, sadly, it passed away. Legend has it that he never again said that babies go to hell when they die. What a hard, hard lesson to learn. And what trauma and grief parents who had lost their precious little ones must have felt after hearing this from a so-called preacher, someone they looked up to and believed in.

Sounds like my mom. I was born prematurely and part of my intestines had never formed; it was just a block that no food could pass through. I spent 11 month in NICU undergoing countless surgeries (with no anesthesia because back then - I am 50+ - it was belived that babies don't feel pain. So, my pain receptors are wonky and I never really feel pain until it is way, way too late). The hospital was 130 km from where my parents live. Mom has often talked about how it was great to be on maternity leave and not have a baby to tend to; she could do whatever she wanted. She visited me ONCE in 11 months, when I was about 4 months old. The reason? I dared to accuse her of abanonment when she showed up. I stared her down and was extremely rude to her. Oh, and my parents didn't even bother to name me. The nurses did. Ti their defense I should mention that they had been told that I was a goner and they should just forget that I had ever existed. Too bad I had other ideas.
So, yeah, I am one of these evil manipulating babies.
We cannot forget about Ruby. We cannot let her get away with what she's done. We cannot let it happen again.

I think I know who she was talking about. We went to school together, but I'm a couple years older than Ruby. But there was a girl in her class that I personally danced with in a competitive dance company for a few years, who fits her description (although to be honest she is hugely distorting - see what I did there?- what this girl was like). She is in fact dead now. She died of skin cancer I want to say 4 or 5 years ago, and it was pretty traumatic and sad. I think it's kind of terrible for Ruby to assume anything about this girl, or to be using her tragic story for her own gains.

The Ace Family are not "major celebrities." Austin isn't even capable of selling out a small carnival. Their only success has been on CZcams, exploiting their adorable children, and Austin has blown through all of that money funding his ego and his get-rich-quick schemes, so they're not even rich anymore.
They want people to believe that Disney invited them because they're VIP's, but they very likely paid thousands of dollars (maxing out credit cards and/or dipping into the kids' accounts) for that Disney trip, just to convince people that they're still rich and famous, and pretend that they're not drowning in debt.
Most CZcamsrs aren't really famous enough that they would be told "if you're coming, you must get a VIP/guided tour package"

I used to have an ED, and if in the thick of it I was told it was all my fault and that it was basically a bullshit diagnosis, it would have made me spiral. I really hope that isn’t what has happened to the person who spoke about their ED. It’s a complicated thing, and if it was so simple to ‘fix’, we wouldn’t need hospitals and doctors dedicated solely to save the lives of those suffering with ED’s. Those woman are dangerous. I hope no one takes them seriously.

It was appalling of Jodi and Ruby to be this cruel don't worry they'll be sorry for the damage it caused to several families.
Some insight into why she doesn’t see a problem even when people are pointing it out so blatantly: Ruby is a Mormon which is a version of Christianity (don’t fight me on this, for the purposes of this, it is) and there is a quote in the scriptures that says that Christians will be persecuted for their beliefs and that’s how they will know they are right. For some Christians, they take this to an extreme and think that every time someone says something against them, it it this “persecution” which means they should just dig in deeper. I’m not saying with 100% certainty that that is what is happening here, but that’s how it reads to me.
100%, don’t know if Mormons believe in Jesus but the whole concept is that Jesus got persecuted for going against the grain pretty sure they’re feeling holier than thou when people oppose their nonsense

I grew up knowing MANY adults like Ruby and Jodie who would even brag about how their sinful family and friends no longer talk to them. Teenagers hate everything their parents do, it usually lasts around two years, the parents have by then recovered from their nervous breakdowns and the kids come to see mum and dad as kind of human. I have four kids and once they all reached about 17 life resumed as almost normal again

the issue with ruby is she wants them to be mini adults and responsible for themselves (like making her 5 year old in charge of packing and making her own lunch) but then when they don’t live the exact way she wants them to she’s lost “control” and they’re in trouble for not being perfect adults instead of kids that need guidance. parenting isn’t about control. it’s about love, providing for them guiding them, but ultimately letting them choose their own path.

I grew up with a parent like her and i knew so many people with parents like her, honestly this kind of parenting of literal abuse like taking doors off, taking all belongings including clothes, food, doors, beds, blankets and pillows ect. And when i see parenting like this as an adult it’s insane because as a child who lived through this type of parenting, it fully 100% felt like and was abuse. My idea of life was childhood being abused and isolated by your parents and when you are finally an adult you no longer speak to them. Thats not normal. Its no right just because it’s happening so often and so many people live through it and parents carry on the ‘tradition’ of abuse to their kids its NOT RIGHT. ITS ABUSE. And idk i just feel like i look at it so set in stone i see her abusing and emotionally abusing and manipulating her kids and she is not a black sheep she is the majority and is stupid enough to try to justify it.
Oh wait, so stuff like taking doors off the hinges is considered abuse? Well, fuck.
