Now willow is truly a pyromancer. And wigfrid is truly a warrior.
I think Wigfrid’s Battle Saddle should be buffed. The slight movement speed penalty is just awkward and should be the same as the war saddle. I think it should also provide knockback resistance against enemies that knock you off of your beefalo. That being said the saddle does have a weird quirk that lets you ride when the beef is aggro on an enemy, which you can’t do with any other saddle. This lets you save your poor cow from picking fights it can’t win!
I Hope when wes gets his skill tree we finaly get the Ballon mech

The new island is actually really cool it gets bigger or smaller depending on the season so the boss fight changes cause you have a different arena every time its really cool
i like this update. i think it's gonna be a lot of fun

These new skill tree ideas are amazing. I hope Klei continue to make skill trees this creative. We don't want a simple one pike Wolfgang.
I worry what the effects will be if they give super strong trees to characters like Maxwell and Wanda though

Just personal preference, I would like to see final Dark/Lunar unlocks of willow to alter rest of the kit. Like making all flame she spreads into shadow fire.
Wilfred just needs to be able to get sanity hitting things while on beefalo.
Those update are amazing , i hope Wx-78 will get a great skill tree like new circuit or circuit buff especially for those that are not very usefull for him like the light circuit
I am SO excited to try out these skill trees, especially now that Wigfrid now that she feels like a true warrior, and Willow now actually feels like a fire witch!
Gross, Wigfrid gets a skill tree before others who need it more.

She was pretty bland so it’s okay imo. Now she actually feels like a valkyrie with these new items. Still I agree that Walter and Winona should have been first.

Wish the boss dropped something permanent the time invested in getting to and fighting him and prepping, you could just sail to the place
willow sounds extremely fun but imagining her abilities in a multiplayer setting is very weird, because you would be hurting your teammates with the fire which her entire kit revolves around

6:01 all that stuffs pretty cool but this shadow animation is bugging me. hate how the shadows overlap and break the illusion of 3-dimensionality, kinda ugly. honestly it might look better if it was just simply flat on the ground, but if they figured out something 3d that would be cool too
Everyone is whining about how good wigfrid is but frankly late game she would get a bit lackluster, saw a few wigfrids late game get swarmed and eaten by hounds and barely make it through while also not being able to help with any resourcing really. This gives wigfrid a bit more utility I think since now she can be the team tamer and while on a beef you can explore and gather sticks and twigs and such a bit faster, meanwhile willow desperately needed this, I always avoided playing her because her penchant to accidentally burn shit down (even after the update accidents happen) coupled with freezing faster and an annoying to repair mob. Now she seems pretty viable as an option with a bit of defense, fire not spreading is particularly interesting in that you could plant a few wooden posts blocking the way into your base and then light them up to keep hounds and other annoying baddies panicked and on fire.

The game started to feel like fan made mods than the actual game. Really lost its uncompromising sandbox survival magic to me.

I don’t mind the updates but I can agree with you that there’s a clear power creep with some of these abilities that make the game a lot easier. Not sure what Klei should do, but I wouldn’t want them to walk back on their changes because they have been making great updates. The new powerful characters and items are kind of meant to be used in the endgame anyways
I think we feel this way just because we got so experienced at the game, for someone new it is just as uncompromising as before
