- How to Fix Mods Not In Showing Up In Expansions For Arma 3. When downloading a mod for arma 3 my mods are not showing up in my expansions folder. How to fix that solved.

Question when I try to disable expansions it won't let me disable them so I can't do multiplayer btw I have the steam edition.

When I go to play on a server it comes up with a notification saying if I want to play on that server I need to remove listed files or install additional accepted keys?? Can evzones help?
LDBMagic is that for all servers, because the only time Ive gotten that message was on a ccg overpoch server that was white listed to your arma 3 UID from their website.
mine says im missing a file,do you know if theres a way to download the file. Its said like Cup_Weapons_AK something els and all my servers wont let me join any server in the entire game because of that one missing folder unless i unactivate that mod
sP Bambi well to play normal arma 3 you always have to deactivate the mod, you probs already know this your comments wording was unclear in that repsect, but as far as missing file all i can tell you is to varify steam cache and try it or reinstall both as I have no clue how to get just that one file and often arma 3 files get messed up when modding I myself have had to reinstall the game like 7 times.
i downloaded the mod like you did (battle royale) but i have limited files showing up in the folders when i go to select it to put onto arma 3??

My problem is sort of similar it shows all the mods and dlcs as being downloaded but when I go to servers it will show a red circle next to them in the bottom right
+kootra pre beanie most of the time you can join red circle games i think or at least when i played arma i remember being able to but since its red that most likely mean you have the wrong version of the mod or game.
Update the game first and then verify cache and double/triple check you have all the pieces for the mod and make sure they are up to date. (Most mods require an external mod to run outside of the one you download from the mods site and example would be the all arma terrain mod its used in almost all most but very few of them download it with the mod.

Hey I've been having this problem for a long time now. I subscribe to a steam workshop mod, it downloads and then never shows up in the launcher. Any clue on how to get that fixed because it's getting pretty irritating. I subscribe and mods appear after a month or so.
As far as steam workshop goes I never use it I use the manual way. Because I can't tell where it gets fucked up well installing it. Also I wish I could do a updated video for all these mods but at the point of my life im in I don't have the money to invest in internet that can upload to youtube.
Oh well man it's okay I wish you the best no need to worry about random people online.
The battle royale file doesn't show up when I go to my arma files from clicking the button on the arma client.

i dont know why but when i try to join at a server batteroyale the following message appears "you were kicked off game".

you my be getting kicked for ping, or your files are corrupted try verifying the steam cache.
It just keeps kicking me off the severs
mine still doesnt let me into wake island stratis etc please help they all have red circles and when i find one that doesnt it says i need to get rid of some files to play please help!??

JamesDog00 Also if base game maps are not working repair it in steam but right clicking game in lib and verify integrity of game cache, make sure all other mods are off. and if need be reinstall mod after you repair game, a fresh install on both can work too.

idk if ur going to respond but i hae a3synci use a3 launcher i was trying to join a fucking servre long story shotrt most admins and owners just ignor ethere ts so i tryed to use the bulshit a3 sync for my self i did the resptiory bs and now it showed up the srver and downloaded the mods well now the mods downloaded but they are nowhere to be found in any of my folders but they show up in a3 sync wtf am i suppose to do about it cause a3 sync is bs
MAGNIFICENT MURDER So a3sync is something I've sadly never used. But the settings on where it downloads the mods to would be in tools or profiles would be my guess. Once you find them via sync settings, then you can just copy the file location in file explorer and drag all the mods to base Arma 3 mod folder. But thats if the mods are showing up in it, then you can move the mods to the base game mod folder if you want to use base game Arma lancher. Also you may have to unzip the mods once you put them in the Arma folder. Remember the servers could be whitelisted so the mods may be working fine but you are denied entry.

Great video man. But whenever I manually install Exile and I choose a server, in the required mods there's a red Circle next to Exile, meaning that it's not installed. But I'm sure It's installed correctly. Any advice? Thanks!x
Matthew Richard if all your playing is exile use A3 Launcher because they use a bunch of smaller sub mods hard to keep track for a manual download.
ive done that but i keep getting kicked off back to the server menu says my modded game may change things and then it kicks me off how do i fix it plz help

Marc Burke So is the mod showing up in expansions to launch it or not? (make sure the files you have installed are in right locations and say @"modname" and when you add mod to launcher make sure your location link is right. If it is showing up in expansions/ mods tab on mod launcher then try this for game crashing when you launch mod (aka kicking you off back to launcher)
it could be a corrupt file does it close the game (kick you back to the launcher) if so then repair your steam cache by going to properties of game in steam lib, also repair the mod if it has a option if the steam cache doesn't work then its a mod file currupted.

just battle royal i deleted the battle royal file and installed it again it was just corrupt when u download it u can download it from the same place u got it from the first time

xavier mcdonald bad version mean that either your arma or your mod is missing files or is not updated fully just try to re install both also the server might run on the beta that arma put out but i don't remember the code to opt into it try googling it, if you see my library thats why it says [rb] next to my arma 3

Yeah the whole steam workshop mods don't work very well when they are huge mods like in Arma.
this doesnt work the servers are locked
TheOneAndOnlyHutch this just activates mods in expansions it doesnt unlock servers because you have the wrong version of mod installed.
Then how would i fix that
TheOneAndOnlyHutch reinstall mod / make sure your game files didn't get corrupt by going to lib and right clicking game and going to properties and then verify integrity of steam cache then try it. if its still fucked up its something in the mod if its battle r then you need to prob download the wake.pbo map as the modb download doesnt have it, how to do that if thats your problem is in the des of my how to install BR video
