  • This will show you how have an AI crew take off, fly waypoints and then land, taxi and shut down the aircraft after their mission.

    If you place the LAND WP away from the RunWay it will still land, if you replace the last WP before the LAND WP with the LAND WP you will get it to land with out the FlyBy..

    This is awesome and I thank you very much for your clear and concise video! However, is there any way to make this repeat? As in, can we have the C-130 fly over an area, para drop players, return to base, loiter for 10-15 minutes, repeat? Sorry if I missed this. I'm assuming it can be done with helis this way as well, say vietnam where UH-1H's will take players in, land, RTB, repeat?

    Any way to make the aircraft standby while members board? Like a time limit before take off?

    I've tried this with a GreyHawk. It taxis, takes-off, then stops mid air. Only if I'm in an aircraft or in the UAV turret controls for example does it do what it should.

      That happens if there is only AI in the craft. The only way I get around that is to do unit capture for my missions. That way it will fly where you want no matter what. I'm sure there's another way around this but I don't know what that is.

    Bye! I am very happy with everything I am learning with your tutorials! You have opened many doors unknown to me! I have a request to make, I would like to create an IDF mission with the aim of researching mortar squads with Hezbu bots in the field ... (I don't write the rest of the word ...), I have a room at home with three PCs in LAN network, and now I create missions for my friends who play with me, the question I ask you is this, is it possible that the AI is born in different positions at each restart of the mission?
    I ask you this question because after 2 times that you play the position of the AI is known and the competitors go to memory removing the suspense; my goal is to play and replay the missions many times creating the unknown of the location of the AI.Thank you for all your work and the time you dedicate to ARMA enthusiasts. HELLO from Venice!

      I will look into random enemy spawn positions for you. There are a few ways you can randomly spawn enemy and I'll show you how you can do that.

    • @OnlineCombatBN
      @OnlineCombatBN  Před 2 lety +3

      The only way I've been able to work out, is to use EOS, which spawns enemy in random locations within a marked area. You can make the marked area quite large which will ensure the enemy don't spawn in the same location each time. The only other alternative is to use a spawn marker and destination marker. But these will give the same locations each time. I'll do some more research and see if there is a better solution for you.

    Know this is a bit of an old one mate, but any guesses as to why this doesn't work on Altis International? Trying to get a plane, Cessna, to taxi up to the terminal; no dice, won't go near it - won't even get off the runway.

      It's Arma 3 AI. They have a will of their own and it often doesn't conform to ours.

    My aircraft will taxi but instead of taking of it just keeps taxing, no matter where I place the move marker

      Delete all the helicopters waypoints and redo them. See if that works.

      Check placement of the plane. Move it to somewhere else and try again. Or, you missed something. Are there any errors, or does it just not move at all? Maybe check waypoints.
