- RhinoAG SRT48 Rotary Tiller only needs 10 to 30 PTO HP to operate so it makes a great choice for Sub-Compacts and Small Compact Tractors. Watch in garden action of what the SRT48 can do for you. Doug, You finally got to play in the dirt with a tractor. Awesome tiller it did a great job and it was quite. Rhino builds some really nice stuff. Thanks for the video.
Yes I did and loved it! Enjoyed getting to spend a few minutes tilling the land.
That’s leaving a wavy wavy seed bed
Operator Error (Me) and this garden is not very level area. I wish I could get to use the equipment more often like owners get too. Just trying to help others learn about the products. Sorry I'm not a professional tiller operator, Actually my second time ever using tractor and tiller and first time with this combination. One thing on this tractor is up/down only 3 point need to hold lever down to control tiller better. I'm learning but not the equipment's fault.
OK this is getting closer. I am going to buy a tractor with 54.6" wheel base. And 18.1 HP at the PTO.
You can get a Massey Ferguson GC Series as longer wheel base of 57.1" and little more PTO HP in the GC1723E at 18.7 PTO HP or the GC1725M at 19.6 PTO HP.
Very nice tiller. Is it chain driven or gear driven?
The SRT48 is a Chain Drive Tiller.
Chain or gear drive? Do you have to get a custm PTO shaft?
RhinoAG SRT48 is Chain Drive. We also offer the RhinoAG REBEL 48 Tilller now that is Gear Drive. PTO Shaft length has to be matched to Tractor and Implement. Not all tractors hitch arm to PTO Shaft length are the same then some use Quick Hitches so it's important to match PTO Shaft Length.
I have been doing 6 acre farms but just with only walk behind tiller,so I feel terrible because it is too much work for it, and I am looking for one with tilling soil to get ready to plant; however, do they have any used one and what's the price for new one?
We have not used Tiller or New Tillers at this time. We sold the last tiller this week and waiting for more to arrive but it will be a while. For Pricing it is best to call your local dealer, if in West Central Missouri give us a call
How wide is the rear tine?
Does it have reverse?
The RhinoAG SRT48 is 4' Wide.
Rotary Tillers only can turn one direction either forward rotation where the knives come downfrom the top and start tilling the soil in front or Reverse Rotation where the knives come down in back come forward up and under the ground. The SRT48 is a Forward Rotation Tiller. The RHinoAG REBEL series are forward or reverse rotation depending on how you install the rotor and whci h way you have the gearbox flipped.
Where can you get them? I live in KY and I can find no one that has any.
Here is RhinoAG Dealer Locator: www.rhinoag.com/find-a-dealer/ if they don't have them they can order. Been hard to keep in stock like everything else but RhinoAG has been much better on tillers in 2022.
I would consider this tiller but my local dealer / customer service that sells this sucks
go to www.RhinoAG.com and they have dealer locator. You might find another dealer that you can work with.
