Great show! Love seeing all of my old spots I fished for 45 yrs before retiring to Tennessee. Are the Pompano there during spring and summer like the mackerel or they all year around?

Awesome video Bush Clearwater they had a discharge of a 1/2 a million gallons of raw sewage That went into the water. last week or the week before. There was a pretty nasty smell there for a couple days
Thank you my friend I heard about that you don't know anymore what's going on around.

@@FishOnChannel 😂😂 yesssir!
Was there tonight, tried both sides nada🤷🏻♂️. Nice video.
Iis weird with them one day plenty and the next day nothing. Thank you for watching my friend
Just found your site and enjoyed your vid. Will be coming to John’s pass for a vaca. For a week in June and saw where you fished . Is there parking on the other side of the beach where you were fishing? You were very nice to give that gentleman the fish. Very informative. Thanks
Thank you appreciate you watching. There is parking in both sides but you have to pay.
I almost always jig the south side. it's been great.
I love it there
Shhhh keep the tourist on the NORTH.....
Haha nice, you catch them like nothing 🔥
😀💪
Hi. Really enjoyed your catching video. Can you tell me what is the range of weight of the pompano jigs used to fish the Tampa Bay area. When I'm there I normally fish the area of Fort DeSoto - Terra Verde - St. Pete's. Thanks
Thank you I'll say 3/8 will be your main and you can go up to 3/4 nothing heavier than that. You should be good in any weather condition
Great video as always 👍🏾 Where did you get your jig's?
Thank you every bait shop nowadays have them
WTG POMP MASTER
Thank you 😀
I enjoy your content. Hope to meet you at Salt Strong
Thank you 😀💪
What do you expect in the area last week of May? We will be vacationing at Madeira beach in a week.
Fat pompanos speckled trout Jack's lots of snappers they moving in.
you are lucky our inlet is nothing but rocks and snags
That's not good we have some places like that here as well
Great video! What’s a good weight pompano jig to throw when surf fishing?
Surf fishing I recommend 1/2 oz or 3/4
Nice job. Hopefully an E Bike company sees this, maybe they’ll help you out.
Thank you I hope they do 😀
You are the pompano master! Let’s go chase a tarpon together!
That will be fun
@@FishOnChannel just pick the day, and I will be there. Everywhere I go I have four Hobie’s on my trailer. If you’d like, you are more than welcome to use one of them.
John's Pass holds a tremendous amount of baitfish due to the depth and strong current. The baitfish in turn attract all kinds of predatory fish. There are some big snook, tarpon and cobia near the bridge. Plenty of legal snapper and an occasional keeper gag grouper. The gulf side of the pass holds pompano, flounder, trout, whiting, redfish, and mackerel, depending on the time of the year. You will always catch something there if you know what you are doing, and Bush is an expert. Thanks for another great video.
Thank you my brother I appreciate you 😀💪
Is there still a large parking lot closer to the bridge but still on south west side ??? Or parking meters ???
Just parking by meters only
Thanks grew up in Madeira Beach years and years ago way back when it was a two-lane road and the old bridge, and it was lots of parking on the Southwest area you could catch huge redfish and snook flounder sheephead trout bonnethead sharks ect , a lot of places nowadays have be come so commercialized in tourism but a lot of good fishing areasare hardly accessible or not accessible at all, most of the laws of changed fishing from the approaches on the bridges ect, which sucks for us no boat guys"
@@tomthomas9910 you have to pay nowadays for everything. Not such a thing as a free parking anymore 🙁
where is this spot?
John's pass
Do you bounce them off the bottom?
Yes my friend slowly
Do you typically use 3/8 goofy jigs?
3/8 is the way to go only crazy windy days I might use 2/2
Great Video, Do you have a address for the pierr on south side John’s pass ? Please can you send it to me thanks
Just put John's pass on the Google map I don't really have any address
were you using 1/2 oz?
1/2 ounce is good for the pass I prefer 3/8 myself
I am jealous bushi. I am learing alot from you
Do you hand tie your teasers or buy them?. If so, where?
@@abrahamjoseph6707 I tie my own but you can buy them in every bait shop
Thank you
You have to get yourself an ebike Bushy
I hope they send me one
Where is this?
John's pass
Dude, I want to fish with you sometime?
Sure you can my friend 😀💪
Do you need to have a fishing license to fish here?
Yes you do, skyway and few more piers are the one that you don't
