- I spend the day torturing the Engwe Engine Pro 2.0 in the U.K. (Hilly Yorkshire in fact)
Tested and reviewed this isn’t your normal review. Everything in the video and in the comments should give you everything you need to know about the Engwe Engine Pro 2.0 with comparisons with the original Engwe Engwe Pro. #engwe #engweenginepro #ebike

Good review and kudos to you for helping that guy out with a brand new bike. 👍
Good for you mate..goodwill never hurt anyone 👍
To unlock the throttle hold the brake and throttle down at the same time for 15 seconds and turn the bike off. Still holding the brake and throttle turn the bike back on and release the throttle and brake after another 15 seconds. Release. Lift the back wheel and check your throttle works.
Speed unlock in the P Settings of your display menu, instructions in the manual.
Does this unlock the throttle to reach 28mph? Or what feature does it unlock related to the throttle?
@@marcochavez5470 it enables the throttle. Speed increase in the P settings.
Which p setting is the one that turn it on?@@ModProjects4306
@@joaoduarte9365 says in the video. Throttle only top speed 20mph and that can’t be unlocked.
Great video, good review. Hopefully the old guy enjoys his new bike. Credit too you.
Cheers from a Sunderland fan 😊
I hope he does. 😂
Best review of this bike so far. Appreciate your expertise
Thank you so very much. Really appreciated.
Great review Gee Dee, I watched it in full I'm so tempted to take the plunge and buys although I have a broken Engwe Pro original that Engwe sold me a new motor for then refused to answer any questions when I couldn't get it running. The bike looks fantastic hopefully they focus on their customer service which at present stinks.
Same happened to me. Hence still having the frame in the garage to compare. Delivery was good coms, a little dink in the top of the box and two guys delivered it … placed it where I wanted it and left. Didn’t even have to bend the derailleur guard back. 😂
Charger has a built in U.K. plug, 3 amp charger. Can charge the thing in just over 5 hours from near zero.
You know me, I won’t lie for any cost so I don’t say this lightly. This bike is my favourite current ebike. Normal riding at 245lb has to be 50-60 miles at my weight.
That’s next level buddy.
Good review
Early in the video you mentioned FB and forums, any chance of a link?
Im not new to bikes but new to ebikes.
Learning as i go along, thanks to guys like you.
Check out the “about me” section. There’s 2 links in there. The 3rd forum is for ebike repairers worldwide where we discuss ebike issues and how to repair them. That one’s locked out to everyone.
@@ModProjects4306 thank you
Great review , makes a lovely change to get a honest review , what watt motor is this please , im just outside wakefield and know the roads on your review . Ive been looking at the Engwe L20 , but this seems a good bike for the money .
If you need a cargo bike for just going to the shops get the L20 or the 52v L20 2.0.
If you want a bike that does it all for a few hundred quid more … get the Engwe Engine Pro 2.0.
Loved the review. It was a bit long, but it kept my interest, exception to the route along the canal-speechless. I appreciate that you don't try to sell the bike, yet you almost convinced me to buy one, lol. I'll wait for your LIBON review. Did you mention how many miles you managed to get from the battery, or did I blink? Thanks for the review!
It’s deliberately long … I’m a great believer in intelligent people having a longer attention span of a gnat. I’m genuinely pleased you liked it. ❤
HI there! I bought a ENGWE Engine Pro 2.0.
I have already activated the cruise control system in the advanced settings 17P = 1. However, when I’m riding the bike with the same speed for more than 10 seconds only using the accelerator without touching the breaks and pedals, when removing the accelerator the bike decreases the speed. So, the bike doesn’t turn on the cruise control mechanism.
Is there anything else I should do to activate the cruise control mechanism when I’m riding the bike? Thanks!
Loving my engwe ep2 pro great fun and thats with no throttle
Hi , great review, love the bike. Do you have a link to the phone mount and mirrors that you had on this review please ? TiA.
Theres a review for the mirrors on this channel and the phone holder is a Quad lock.
@@ModProjects4306 Thank you sir . 😎
Just as an aside - I wouldnt recommend loading the tail of a trailer with any weight, good way to get it unstable and start wagging. Good climb though.
Love the review. Convinced to buy, but only thing I worry about is getting the rear wheel off should I get a puncture. Is it straight forward ? Plus where in Yorkshire could i view this bike the flesh ?
Cheers.
I’m doing a video this week about removing rear wheels and fitting Tannus Armour. No idea where you’d view one.
Excellent content.
Where can i get the wing mirrors please
HI mate good review, really thinking of getting one to me with my Heart rehabilitation I can't do hill's! but I'm worried about the legality of this bike, is legal ?
Turn the throttle off and set the max speed to 16 mph and you’re legal.
Simply amazing! Does this company have a good battery and is quite productive? But if you say it, then it's true. I drive an Engin X with an old-style frame, and when there is an extraneous sound on potholes, my heart skips a beat when the frame bursts. The drop in battery voltage under load was tormenting.
Is it really a normal bike? Honestly, if I hadn’t sworn to myself never to get involved with this company, I would have bought one!
Have they fixed the suspension plate hitting the frame ?
I jumped it off about 10 kerbs, bounced the mid suspension as often as I could. Got home and it was the first thing I checked. It was fine. Think the original had an issue with spacers missing in some cases. The rest of us just had to add nut lock occasionally.
@@ModProjects4306 thank you
Do yourself a favour. Always wear a helmet, use mirrors and ride responsively.
Hi do it say 750w on the motor bud can u get away with it the same as the ep2 pro
Nothing on the motor. CE sticker on the back of the frame.
Thank you for the video. Would you mind giving me a link to the wing mirrors please? I’m new to e-bikes but have an Engine Pro 2.0 on order and would like to buy some compatible mirrors for when it arrives.
Check out my videos I review them in there. I don’t give links out.
@@ModProjects4306 Thanks, I’ll do that.
Im thinking of getting one bug im 150 kg is that to heavy
Max weight is 330lb on their website which is 145kg.
@@ModProjects4306 any ebikes that would take 150 kg rider , or you think lose weight first
@@JamesStewartarmwrestling lose some weight. I was 30lb heavier at the beginning of the year. You’ll feel better for it buddy.
