Every week I try to be strong and resist temptation when watching your channel. And every week I fail. đ. I'm not sorry either. Hugh Fraser reading Christie novels is like a warm hug. I just love them. So I do understand not having many physical copies. The Sittaford Mystery, although set in winter, is my current cosy read. I'm nowhere near sophisticated enough to read by season unfortunately! Lovely video, as always x
I love the idea of reading with the seasons but Iâm on the other side of the world so when there is a good suggestion Iâm in the wrong season. Then I forget later on in the year because I have so many books! Now Iâve ordered 2 more of those Miss Marple beauties!!

So nice to hear you talk about "The Uncommon Reader". I read it a few years ago and loved it. Such beautiful editions of Agatha Christie's Miss Marple series. In addition to "Emma", I'm currently reading "The Blue Castle" and very much enjoying it. Thank you for the recommendation! The notecards and brooch are charming. (The brooch reminds me of "Emma".) Loved this video! I always enjoy seeing your favourite things so much. You introduced me to Elizabeth Harbour when you first mentioned her and I have quite a collection of her lovely ornaments now. Thank you for your hair care recommendations, your hair always looks lovely, so healthy and shiny, I will definitely try your recommendations. I love the new Miss Marple editions! I collected the Harper Collins hardback facsimile editions, published quite a few years ago now, which I really like, but I have a few gaps. I wonder if they will publish more Christies in these editions, Poirot, Tommy and Tuppence, etcâŠ

Oh, dear! Such a lovely video and at least a dozen titles that look intriguing and well worth considering for my library which is undergoing a big makeover. I have three book orders I am waiting on from the last video! Obviously I am not keeping up on the reading, but just got invited to watch a friend's little dog over a long weekend soon so reading will receive priority along with walks on beach weather permitting. I love the card on top of bookshelf.đ·đčđ·đč

Though I have yet to read an Agatha Christie, woops, the Marple series from the early 2000s is one of my faves that I rewatch every summer. These covers thoughđ, I think it's finally time to read some, especially The Body in the Library and A Murder is Announced! just always love your videos! so comforting and give me so many gift and reading ideas đ»đž

So normally I buy a book from your mouth watering list, but those Elizabeth Harbour brooches are so adorable! Thanks for the intro, we bought a squirrel for a family member in the States who is besotted. The Uncommon Reader is a favourite and perfect for this month, I shall try to get to it.

Miranda I suffered terribly with dry lips and I use Nuxe, Reve de Miel. I only have to use it morning and evening now, itâs lovely and also smells pleasant but doesnât taste of anything x

I loved From Field and Forest and the second book looks just as beautiful; I found it a lovely bedside book. I love the broche! Iâm wondering if Jane Austenâs own governess was the inspiration for Emmaâs relationship with her governess. That Oxford book sounds interesting amongst others and the From cove & coast one (I found that it was & in stead of âtoâ when I couldnât find it) looks beautiful!

Love the recommendations. I love finding out about new products. I had no idea that Penthaligon do lip balms; love their fragrances. Iâve been given a copy of âPostal Bakes", and cannot wait to read and bake from it. The idea of posting the bakes got me really interested and curious about the content. Iâve seen adverts about companies renting bags and dinner outfits. Youâve planted a seed in my mind about possibly renting out clothes.Thanks for that.Alan Bennetâs recommendation got me very interested, and Iâve added it to my list.Have a lovely week ahead.

Hey Miranda!!!! I love this video....Iâve been in a terrible reading slump lately and have only managed to read two books in about a month and a half...Iâll start one with all the intentions of finishing it then I donât đ€·đŸââïžđ€ŠđŸââïž... but I did read an Agatha Christie book âCards on the Tableâ and a childrenâs book called âA PLACE to HANG the MOONâ it takes place during the beginning of WWII...Iâm glad someone mentioned your hair, Iâve always thought it looked healthy and beautiful, but saying it in the comment section without hair being a topic felt weird đđ„°....I LOVE those Miss Marple đ...their so BEAUTIFUL đ...now one thing Iâm starting to enjoy are the shows on the BritBox based on Agatha Christieâs novels... I really love the Miss Marple played by Geraldine McEwan and Margaret Rutherford...please tell Donna I said hello đđŸ...Have a Wonderful Weekend đ„°
I love Geraldine McEwan as Miss Marple, too!. I liked Joan Hickson, as well. I've never seen Margaret Rutherford's version, and am now keen to do so.
