are you sure your hair is clean? a clear sign that you didn't wash your hair correctly or you have too much buildup on your hair is when you come out of the shower and your hair and scalp still feels very dirty. If this is you all the time, then you need to start incorporating into your hair wash routine clarifying shampoo and scalp exfoliation, trust me if you follow the double cleansing method with scalp exfoliation in between your hair will be a new level of clean but also the treatments you apply will be able to work much better because of that as well.

If it were me ,I'll suggest to use mild shampoo twice wash (once with your fingers and the second time use scalp massager gentle & massage) and for a best condition use fermented rice water (atleast 1hrs) until you wash your body leave it one and wash it off once you finish washing your body . And dry it properly it can also make your scalp dirty ..these all are the one I experienced and learnt .

clarifying shampoo can be really drying on the hair so use a good conditioner and if you want you can wash your hair again with a moisturizing shampoo after you use the clarifying shampoo so as to not have a dry scalp while still feeling super clean

I actually put a drop of clarifying shampoo with my hydrating shampoo and use a scrub brush. My scalp has never felt so clean. Then, I use a hydrating hair conditioner and following with a leave in conditioner and oil to seal the moisture
